   Probably the best Italian meal I’ve had since I can remember. The food was delicious, and everyone at the table loved their meal. We all ate different things and everyone was thrilled. The decor is lovely. Server very nice. 5*

   Was recommended to try this for good Italian in Sedona. The food was good, service great but the restaurant itself was off -putting. It feels like the restaurant is not sure what it’s trying to be. Christmas lights and decor left up was not helping. Too many plastic plants in the “garden room”. Did not care for the ambiance at all.

   Our meals were excellent. The red sauce is one of the best I have had while dining out. Service was excellent - attentive but not intrusive. We come here whenever we visit Sedona. You should too.

   I was at Cucina Rustica a couple of times about 5 years ago and decided to return for Father's Day when my son and his wife and my wife and me met in Sedona for the weekend. It did not disappoint. The menu has changed a bit and a favorite dish of mine is no longer on the menu. No problem, I had the Pollo Parmigiana and it was as good as I had. Instead of the chicken being breaded, it was sauted which made for a lighter meal. The marinara sauce was perfect, good and flavorful. All of our meals were well received. We thoroughly enjoyed a fried artichoke/cheese appetizer my daughter-in-law referred to as artichoke poppers. Service was excellent and like all of Lisa Dahl's restaurants, the room was beautiful. We dined at Mariposa, her steakhouse the night before and it wsa also a wonderful experience.

   , ordered rack of lamb rare, or came to the table medium well. there is no way to excuse that from a professional cook.

    They didn't bring out bread, even after serving the meatballs in marinara sauce. I requested some so I could dip them into the marinara. My daughter and I both ordered the Filet, medium/well and her piece came out rare. I switched with her rather than sending it back so we could eat together. The waiter seated a couple at the table next to us halfway through our meal and poured them water without checking on us and my daughter's glass was empty so we had to call him back. He did ask if everything was okay and again I chose not to complain but wondered how he didn't notice my Filet which I sliced apart was pink. It was my daughter's 28th birthday which is why we went to Arizona and people we spoke to said this was the best place to go. They acknowledged her birthday when we arrived and put flower petals on our table. While we were eating a different waiter passed by with a piece of cake and sang Happy Birthday to another table but ours did not. The crowd was light at the time so I'm not sure why our waiter seemed off. I have dined in lesser restaurants and much higher ended restaurants and never have they not offered either my daughter or myself a piece of birthday cake. It has been our tradition to take each other out for years now and this is the first time we have been disappointed.
