When you dine at Cucina Rustica the world is a million miles away.
1st time there and will be coming back for sure . Service was great and food was super good..
we were celebrating an anniversary...nice touch to have a little special recognition. thank you
Cucina Rustica was wonderful, as always. This is a favorite of ours, whether for happy hour or a full meal, we are never disappointed. And we always bring company here, who love it as will. This time, we tried the zucchini flower appetizer which was stuffed with ricotta. It was really good and just enough for a teeny taste for all 4 of us. Eric, our server, was fantastic: friendly, knowledgeable and professional without being overbearing. He made it a pleasurable evening all around. Our food this night was pasta with Canadian lobster I a spicy vodka sauce, Gigli pasta with a spicy fennel sausage and shrimp, veal piccata, and the grilled shrimp dinner. Ever plate was clean and every diner happy.
Fantastic food and the ambiance is great. I will recommend this restaurant to everyone that I know that will be visiting in the Sedona area. WOW
Outside dining in a beautiful courtyard; wonderful music by Solomon on Wednesday night; and excellent food. What more could you ask for!!!
The food was absolutely delicious!! Tyler was wonderful and personable. Was a wonderful experience
We have been to this restaurant many times and every time it has never
disappointed us. Food is excellent!
This is my absolute favorite restaurant. I think part of the reason I go to Sedona is just to eat here. Everything was spot on as usual!
Coming from Chicago to visit friends here in Sedona , our friends recommended this restaurant. Overall the initial experience was very comfortable, classy and professional. The host was very accommodating to our decision to change our seating from inside to outside and a table to our liking. Ambience was so relaxing, with eye appealing cascading ivy and flowers and soft soothing sounds of live guitar music. Our host sprinkled rose petals on our table and lite our candle, so romantic. The server was very professional and accommodating to special entre requests. We were 4 dining and 3 of us had the special Sea Bass and the other seafood pasta with diablo sauce. I would recommend these dishes, not heavy on your stomach, so that you have room for dessert. The dessert we had was the raspberry chocolate cheesecake. IT WAS AMAZING!! To wrap up the evening, I asked the host to see the inside of restaurant, and he was kind to give us a tour of all the special rooms that could also accommodate special events. Thank you for that. Overall, a lovely night spent with friends in an enchanted establishment. Thank you
Gorgeous ambiance, delicious food and friendly (but not terribly attentive) service. Overall a great experience for us.
This is a hidden gem that is dripping with ambiance. The food was delicious and the chef was willing to customize to my request. I loved the live music and sitting out on the terrace was just beautiful.
Four people, 4 different entrees; all were excellent! Each dish had a great depth of flavor.
Really nice restaurant. Food really good. Just could not give it a 5 star because my spouse had water from ceiling leak on him and his new shirt. We told the waiter and his response was, oh yea we know about it sometimes it happens.
Beautiful place and excellent food as expected from a Lisa Dahl restaurant.
It was a bit loud, I was charged $ 4.00 for a soda water which is crazy!!! Never even got offered a refill. The service was sub par for the price you pay.
One of our favorite restaurants. The food is consistently good and the staff is always wonderful.
Good service. Great food
Great resturant, especially if you can sit outside which is quiet and has great ambience. Service was supurb! Nice selection on the menu and very good food.
Loved the food, especially the delicious pesto pasta which we were able to order gluten free without the cream. Great that they could accommodate all our needs. And we loved the guitar player, great music for dining.
Besides the delicious food, excellent waiter the guitarist made our night/what a selection of music-he was assume
Delicious food and wine. Very good service. It was a lovely evening.
Everything about our experience was amazing!! The service was wonderful and the food was awesome! We went for our first anniversary dinner and they put rose pedals on the table and made it really special for us!
Our vegetarian guests enjoyed their dinners every bit as much as we enjoyed the halibut and fresh seafood pasta.
We have visited several times and plan to return. I had the Vittello Justino and my wife has the Paepadella beef tips dish. Both excellent.
This restaurant was okay but nothing special. I ate at one of the owner's other restaurant--Mariposa --the evening before and it was excellent. Mariposa was a much more upscale experience including the service.
Lisa always amazes us with her menu! We will keep coming back.
It's a delight to sit outside! We enjoyed everything we ordered.
Best mussels EVER. Everything was A+! Beautiful outdoor seating in evening. So romantic!
So disappointed! We wanted to celebrate Father’s Day with an amazing dinner and instead we both left extremely unsatisfied. My boyfriend ordered the special Ribeye with Prawns. He asked to have it cooked medium well. Instead he received a piece of meat that was burnt around the edges and rare inside. I got the Don Quixote and it was less than flavorful with the pasta and chicken floating in a watery sauce. When they delivered our rolls there was one that was hard as a rock. We actually thought it could have been a prop. When I addressed this with waitress she said “I’ll have to make sure the chef does not cook them so long”. She did not offer to replace the roll with one that was edible. This is not acceptable for a restaurant of this caliber. I do not enjoy writing a review that is less than favorable but I hope no one else has an experience like this one. I hope they are able to make this wrong right in the future.
we really wanted a patio seating- hostess said she had not while there were several spots and she gave a table for 4 to another family 5 minutes after we conceded an inside table, frizzing cold with unreasonable ac
The ambience is so beautiful. Love the guitarists’ music.
After being seated we were told happy hour was only for patrons sitting at the bar. Another unnecessary little irritant. It just seems a little something is missing from all Lisa Dahl’s restaurants keeping them from being better. Every detail reported on Open Table or Trip Advisor could be easily remedied. If only some one took the initiative.
we live in the village and it is the best we will return
The food and experience was amazing. It was a great way to end out time in Sedona for the week. The outside area was very romantic, and we loved each of our meals. The waitress was great, just a little off and awkward whenever she was needed. But overall it was a tremendous dinner experience.
Probably some of the best italian food I have eaten. Service was great. Keylime pie is great..
Anniversary dinner !
The dining area is s little cramped. Our waitress was outstanding, the wait staff was great! We had two veal dishes, which were flavorful, but a little tough, I think it should have been tenderized, but that’s just me. Ambience was great, loved the guitar!
Terrible experience all around. First no one wanted to wait on us, staff totally unprofessional, over cooked steak, wrong drink orders, replacement meal bland, manager was aware of all and refused to apologize or even acknowledge us. Will not return.
