Fine Italian food in the very centre of Birmingham is Cucina Rustica's trademark, a comfortable, atmospheric Italian restaurant popular with both locals and tourists visiting this vibrant city. Although modern and slick in its execution, the choice of deep earthy colours and moody lighting, tactile materials such as wood and stone and the addition of characterful contemporary art and healthy, verdant plants give Cucina Rustica that slight traditional feel suggested by its name and a certain cosiness that gives it a home from home feel. Attention to detail is in every little touch here at Cucina Rustica, from the single rose placed on each table to the complementary olives produced on every guest's arrival. Equally, food is produced with great care, dishes traditionally Italian but done with flair and a certain amount of style, some unusual choices offered alongside classic favourites, all from the classic Italian cookbook and accompanied by a wide array of drinks.

    Very good ambience, friendly staff and food. Dinner for 2 with wine and no dessert was close to £100 so prepare your credit card.

    My favourite restaurant in central Brum. Always great service. Food is lovely and portions generous . Great ambience too

    Absolutely fantastic experience- first time and already looking to book another trip to Birmingham just to come here! Service was exceptional, great wine and Italian food at its finest. We came at lunchtime and could have stayed until evening but was full up and needed to walk it off. Would thoroughly recommend. Also great for Coeliac’s!

    I had a wonderful experience at Cucina Rustica. The food was absolutely lovely—fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. The staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout. It had a great atmosphere and made for a really enjoyable visit. I'd definitely go again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for quality Italian food and great service.

    We went for dinner on a Saturday night. The place had a great atmosphere, but not too noisy. It was hard to decide from the menu, so many dishes I liked the look of. All of our food was delicious, especially my prawn starter. Can’t wait to return.
