CUCINA enoteca - Newport Beach
I think the good is generous and very good. My only complaint is that it’s very loud when it’s busy and it’s difficult to have a conversation.
Outdoor dining was lovely; sit by the fireplace for ambience. We lingered after dinner and did not feel rushed eventhough the restaurant was moderately busy.
waiter could not answer questions about food, chef would not accommodate food allergies
They took my favorite salad off the menu, so I tried another and it was a bowl of plain kale with a few sunflower seeds, maybe five golden raises, and I had to ask for more cheese. The dressing tasted exactly like sour cream. Also the windows in the restaurant let the sun beat in the evening so someone as your table will have sun in their eyes. I really wish they would bring back THE KALE CEASAR SALAD!!!
Great overall time
Sat out in the patio. Very nice and much less noisy. Perfect for a Summer night
Amazing as always!! Best Italian around
The outdoor space makes this a favorite place for me to go. Also helps that i can walk over from my apartment. The issue is that it is inconsistent. Food wasn’t good. They ran out of a dish and didn’t tell us until my meal was served. Won’t be going back anytime soon.
Squash Blossoms for the win
20th anniversary dinner, food and service was great
Everything was fantastic, except no one addressed the small child running around at the private dining table. My table was a few feet away. I would expect that sort of behavior at Chuckee Cheese, not CUCINA Enoteca.
Food was outstanding. Service was great. Loved the overall vibe of this place.
Great restaurant for Napolitano pizza and in-house made pasta along with many great sides and starters. Fantastic wine and beverage program with a retail shop that let's you buy at the table from the retail with a miniscule corkage charge. The food here is very authentic to classics from Italy and the service is great, well informed and genuinely interested in their guest's time at the restaurant. Highly recommend this place.
Cucina Enoteca was a good experience, expensive wine list though. Food was good but maybe slightly over priced for what we got.
This has been consistently one of my most favorite restaurants in OC. Great food and excellent service! The polenta board is my absolute fave dish.
The Manager, Katy is wonderful and exceptional in making our dining experience fantastic!
In a word... wonderful
The menu and execution were Michelin level.
the server was friendly, warm and helpful
We had the stuffed zucchini flowers with a lightly lemoned mascarpone filling and an almost tempura battered crust..... heaven.
The Wagyu burger with Taleggio cheese was perfectly prepared and juicy... like picture your perfect burger dream... that's it
Then a pizza with a thin, crispy crust, NOT overcooked flavorful mushrooms and gently carmelized onions
This all finished with a delightful light Italian red
This place is seriously under rated
Only open slot was 4pm, the place was empty, made for a quiet and great experience. The service was excellent and the food was SO good.
A little over priced.
I’ve had better experiences at this restaurant. There was a large hair in the butter for our table and we waited about 30 minutes for our bill.
It was a really great experience for my friends and I. Although the restaurant was full, the noise level was great. Food arrived fabulous. Service was amazing. Would recommend to everyone!
Great all around, wonderful wine selection, especislly by the Bottle good price point
Very relaxed grest Bar tender
The drinks and food were beautiful. My husbands steak wasn’t cooked quite right but they quickly brought out a new one and gave us a free desert because of it. We will definitely go back again.
Amazing meal. SIt in the Garden. Family friendly.
A great go-to restaurant. I've only been here for lunches and has a great business lunch atmosphere. Perfect for conversation, very reasonable prices, very tasty food, attentive staff and easy parking. Highly recommended.
Had my birthday party there and it was exactly how I wanted it to be! Everything was beyond outstanding and perfect!
Great meal and great service. They just need to honor seating time.
This was one of my favorite restaurants years ago, but the food quality has really gone downhill. The squash blossoms were a bit soggy, the calamari was really dry and the pizza dry, chewy and hard. The pork chop was bland, even with the cranberry mustard sauce. The buckwheat pasta was not seasoned and actually too al dente. The two best items were the beet salad(very good) and the french fries.
Amazing food. Service was slow, but we really enjoyed it.
Great afternoon on the patio for lunch!
The food was awesome and I will definitely return when I come back again.
This restaurant always nails it... creative menu, pleasant informed service, and price options to fit almost any budget. Retail pricing for wine seals the deal! A bit noisy if seated near banquet/group dining room (no sound barrier).
They made our birthday celebration very special!
A favorite place of ours: good food, changing menu (a good thing), waitstaff always attentive and eager to
please, very accommodating...this is the first time I have a suggestion: the chicken sandwich was little dry, it needed a sauce to go with it...not catsup, something savory and yummy which you do so well generally.
This is our favorite spot for dinner or a quick bite when we're attending a summer jazz concert at the Marriott across the street. We can never resist an order of their fried squash blossoms and they were sensational as always. The mushroom, onion goat cheese pizza was also great. Service is always warm and spot-on.
The hostess stand was understaffed as there was only one girl working so the check in process was very slow. Also we were given the wrong leftovers and when I drove back and returned the box, she didn’t apologize for the inconvenience.
I have always been a long time fan of all the CUCINAs (in SD and OC), so it’s due time for a review. Came for an impromptu brunch and everything was delicious as always! Starting with stuffed squash blossoms is a must - this time they were filled with ricotta and served with saffron aioli. Another great appetizer was the chicken liver pâté served with figs. So creamy and luxurious! The family style short rib pappardelle was more than enough for four people. Overall, a great experience as always with great service and food.
Lauren B. was absolutely wonderful & the food was delightful!
The service was excellent. The food was quite frankly terrible. Also it was hard to get a reservation...we went early were immediately seated and there were extra tables all around.
This is a mall restaurant that doesn't deserve any attention. Table of 4 and all 4 agreed.
Lunch on the patio was a delight this week. The squash blossoms were a new treat for a friend birthday celebration.
