Executive Chef Tim Kolanko and Chef de Cuisine Cesar Sarmiento bring their artistry to the table as guests enjoy an open kitchen.     Ambiance outside the patio was perfect. The pillows and various touches gave a warm and inviting feel. Great for people watching and seeing life surrounding us. Food was devoured and the service given by our waiter topped it off, making it outstanding. All the dishes he recommended and suggested, we explored and enjoyed, leaving crumbs with no leftovers to spare. ~ Thank You!

    We’ve been there for four times in the past 1-2 months. The food is not always good- the portion is small relative to its price and one time the pizza was burnt.

    As always we had a wonderful meal & great experience at Cucina Enoteca! It’s our go-to restaurant for special occasions & also ‘just because’ for a good meal. We were celebrating my husbands birthday & it did not disappoint. Our service was spot-on attentive, our two small dogs on the dog-friendly patio were warmly welcomed. And our pizza & pasta dishes were fantastic. The complimentary birthday dessert was icing on the cake. We highly recommend & will continue to be back & back again!

    I am a long time customer but post pandemic the food is noticably less good and the service, charitably,just average. Last night we ordered a mushroom pizza starter ($22) to be followed by 3 separate orders. Within 5 minutes, pizza not half eaten, the mains arrive. I complained to the server who blamed the kitchen, never offered more ice tea and disappeared. Eventually a manager appeared,apologized and offered a "discount" on the pizza for their screw up. Chinzy. The mains were over sauced and mediocre. Not going back for a long time. Bad experience

    We came here for their burrata (drove 2.5 hrs). The first time we had this was six weeks ago and loved it. This time, the chef changed the classic dish to a deconstructed hodge podge of tiny diced fruits with melty burrata and crisps that was disappointing. We had an excellent server, coincidentally the same as last, who was always so positive, friendly, and in the end (without us asking), deleted the charge of said dish. Truly appreciative of her to do so and told us they chamge their menu every three months. Their pappardelle bolognese was delicious and consistent as last time. Another favorite is their squash blossom fritatas. Thank you!

    It had been awhile since I had visited this restaurant. I remember the service being spot on. We had an early lunch reservation so the restaurant was pretty quiet when we arrived, but the service with even just a few tables seated was very slow. I had an Italian chopped salad that was very peppery, so much so that I couldn't eat it. They did remove it from our bill which was nice. The pizza's were good but not amazing. Everything was just kind of Ok, nothing special. Not how I remembered it from past experiences. Also, they now settle your bill while they stand at your table and hand you a handheld device that gets passed around. I hate this! Your server should not be standing over your shoulder while you decide what to tip. Tacky!

    This used to be my all-time favorite restaurant. My family and I came for every birthday, anniversary, and out-of-town guest visit. Unfortunately, Cucina has really gone down hill in the last couple of years. At my most recent visit, the menu was no longer fresh or seasonal, the waiting staff was absent and couldn't be bothered to serve on any level, and the prices were considerable higher for significantly decreased portions. As sad as it is to say - I won't be back.

    Cucina Enoteca is one of our FAV spots!! You NEVER disappoint!! We ❤️the NEW Pappardelle replacement with the Malfadine Pasta!! The short rib flavor was much more tasty on thymus pasta!! EXCELLENT CHANGE!! And my regular Bucatini is ALWAYS my go-to!!! Soooo GOOD!! We will be back as usual!!

    We were seated late (about 20min) so then needed to rush thru dinner to get to our show. We had to request everything be sped up, app was missed and our server was no where to be found at times. They seemed short staffed for the volume and time….

    Great food and good ambiance. But be sure to check the tip when checking out! My server selected his tip himself (22%) probably thinking that I wouldnt notice, so I changed it to (18%). Its little things like that where I CONSIDERED to changing it to no tip. It was very disrespectful. I know we are all struggling out here, but please remain honest and respectful to everyone, both servers and customers.

    Our waitress was attentive, helpful and a delight. The octopus and squash blossom small plates were great, as well as the pizza. The Tiramisu was a disappointment of most dry chocolate cake.

    The food overall was very good. The chicken milanese was overcooked and a bit dry but the pizza (burrata) and salad (tricolore) were excellent. The service was very friendly but very slow. It could've just been a function of being understaffed or the kitchen was backed up when we got there and it was incredibly WARM inside. Uncomfortably warm so perhaps that was the biggest issue. I don't mind a leisurely meal but it was quite balmy in the restaurant and couldn't wait to get out of there.

    Our server was great! I wish I could remember her name. Despite having a reservation it took over 20 minutes to be seated. Which caused us to be late to our show! That is my biggest complaint. Probably will not go back.,

    We took a friend to dinner to celebrate her upcoming wedding. The atmosphere was very nice, calm, perfect for chatting and enjoying people watching. The food was delicious. Drinks were perfect and pricing was very fair. Our server was wonderful, helpful, sweet and patient. I would absolutely recommend Cucina Enoteca at the Irvine Spectrum for any occasion.

    Service was very poor. Had 6:30 reservation seated at 6:45 didn’t see a server until 7:15. Service very slow and took long time for drinks. Ordered second of drinks add received at end of meal. Food was delicious.

    Always a pleasure to eat at Cucina Enoteca! Delicious food, lovely atmosphere and great service. They accommodated our request to sit outside, as the fans overhead made it feel pleasant on a warm evening. We had wonderfully relaxed dinner without being rushed…a good alternative to actually dining in Italy!

    We were served pork even when we specially specified we want no meat in the pasta. Religiously we don't eat any meat at all. We asked multiple times to make sure its all vegetarian. But still somehow this very important information was missed. To add more to the misery, server gave us stack for dessert plates, and one of the plate in the pile had leftover food from another customer. Not just some pinch here and there but literally thick pasta sauce as is covering whole plate. Terrible and unacceptable service. Will not recommend it to anyone.

    Our sever Kate was polite and attentive:) our food was delicious! We had the short rib pasta and the burrata pizza. She recommended that I add prosciutto to the pizza and I immediately said yes. It was so good! She brought out some of her personal favorite toppings and dipping sauces to try and they were all scrumptious. I highly recommend this restaurant and we will be returning!
