Pre-COVID, this was a restaurant we went to regularly. This was our first time back since last year and the food was not great. It seems like they changed their recipes slightly and the food is not as good as it used to be.

We had an excellent dinner at Aenoteca. We were seated immediately for our 7:15 reservation and our server Mauricio was very attentive. The squash blossom appraiser and chopped salad were a great start. My wife had the short rib pasta (almost like a stew flavor) and my pasta/prosciutto special was awesome. Well definitely be back.

This is one of our favorite places to eat in Del Mar/Carlsbad area. It casual, open, and the staff is very friendly. Also, really easy to get reservations.

The food here is out of this world. I only wish I would have ordered the whole bottle of the wine. Gave my nephew an extra desert for his birthday. Definitely coming back.

We’re locals and have been dining here for years. In the past We have always enjoyed the happy hour menu at the bar with Jesus and Josie.
We’ve only eaten here twice since COVID and chose the dining room rather than the bar just for a change of scenery and comfort.
Our favorites are the margarita Pizza with a side meatball and chopped salads. Excellent.

We had a table outside. It was nice. Was a cool evening so heater was needed. The heater kept going out but the staff kept coming by to relit the heater. The food was excellent. We look forward to a return visit.

The branzino was the best I've ever had. The chicken liver appetizer was excellent as well as dessert.

We used to love this place, but it seems to have lost something during the last year. Hopefully, they'll return to their previous high standards as restaurants return to normal. The last few times, the server had already checked the tip percentage. Usually the customer checks the box.

Hoping the food presentation and dining experience will get closer to what is was before. It just felt like sloppy troughs of mass produced mediocre pastas- not what I remember this place being. Server was very nice. We maybe had the bad luck of a table where people were stepping over us to exit in to the parking lot - not wanting to exit where they entered. I know all the places are doing the best they can considering the circumstances- just thought they would have rocked it out better than they have.

I had the spinach agnolotti. The hen Forrest mushrooms were wonderful but the agnolotti were not overly flavorful and too el dente for my taste The peas were good.
The pizza was very good

Looking forward to indoor dining being back as the primary. The buzz was a key part of this venue’s experience. They have done well to set up many covers outside but no atmosphere and v basic set up. Food & service was faultless.

We absolutely love this place. The food is always excellent, we have yet to find an item we would not order again. The wait staff are friendly, polite, and attentive. Happy hour pricing is nice but the normal pricing is not outrageous considering the quality of food you receive. The outdoor “covid” seating is one of the better setups we have been to and it still feels cozy but well spaced out (they certainly made the best of a tough situation). Also, don’t miss one of the many great cocktails and extensive wine selection. I’m already looking forward to my next trip back.

We ordered 2 steaks and 2 Branzinos.
Steaks were OK but the fish was burnt and had a strong chile flavor on the salad. Not good at all. I think we will not be coming back any time soon.

We sat in the outdoor space. The sun was intense on one side of the table for the first half of the meal. Also there were a lot of little gnats that made it into our drinks.
Otherwise, the food was amazing as usual!

Cucina Enoteca has transformed to a fun outdoor getaway! I haven’t been to many restaurants during the pandemic, but I definitely felt comfortable and safe dining here. New outdoor patio with shade and tables spread out. Nice place to lounge and enjoy great food and drinks. Our server, Emily, was great! Good Happy hour prices from 4-6pm.

We were there to celebrate my husband’s birthday but the waitress did not even wish him happy birthday or offer any type of small sweet for his birthday. The food was very good and I would return but the waitress should’ve at least said happy birthday.

Very nice ambiance, the food is not as good as I remember it but still delicious. We had a great time.

We had a great waiter who suggested a good app and bottle of wine which was very much appreciated. I did feel overall things are more expensive now. Ambiance isn't the same but not their fault.

Cucina Enoteca made a parking lot magical! They have gone beyond what is "needed" to provide a safe and enjoyable dining experience. Their food is as delicious as ever - maybe even more because we've missed it for so long! The service was impeccable - can't wait to return!

Cucina Enoteca a lot to work out to get back into the rhythm of serving customers on site. There were not many people there on the night we were there, and we had to remind them that we had ordered main courses 45 min after we ordered. The food came out right away, so apparently it had just been sitting there. The main courses were not as flavorful as we have had previously (prior to COVID).
