About
Best old fashioned cocktails, worth the trip alone.
Food was good but not great. Surprising. Restaurants are still recovering customers from COVID-19 restrictions - with this one being in the mall and the mall being closed - doesn't help.
It was a nice place to eat! I wouldn’t say super fancy or expensive, definitely on the finer dining side though. The food was great and the service was very good! :) we loved it!
Octopus starter was excellent, but the lobster ravioli was a disappointment - mealy, overcooked lobster bits and rubbery pasta.
Lovely, attentive service. Large portions. Good wine.
Great gluten free options, be sure to ask for them!
Food was great, service was a little slow.
Have been here before but this time.....not good . Our 8 yr old daughter ordered pasta from the kids menu and for $9.00 was served a cup of pasta. The price was not the issue, the portion size was. Many times she orders off the main menu and we don't mind any entree cost as she is a good eater but this night she just wanted a bowl of pasta. Not a cup.
Chicken Parm was OK not great and the Chicken Limone was so thin that it was like paper.
Rip off
Great food
The food and service was great. Thought the dress code said business casual but saw more people on the more casual side. Thought the food took longer to come but our waiter was looking out for us because he saw that we still had some our appetizers out. That was great of him to do that.
We'd only been there once for a dessert tasting and had been planning on coming back. We had an amazing server, wish I could remember his name so sorry, who recommend outstanding dishes. We had the Fritto Mistro to start and it was amazing. My wife had the pork loin and it was so flavorful that I almost stole her dish lol. I had the Osso Bucco. Some of the risotto was undercooked but still amazing overall. The desserts were amazing!!!
Great lunch
Excellent service
Best iced tea!
This was a horrible experience. Service was slow and inadequate. _Almost 30’minutes after taking out order the waiter came back to say that they did not have 4 of the items ordered. We ended up leaving and eating dinner elsewhere
We need to be gluten free and felt very comfortable dining here. The GF crust for the pizza was fantastic! And the pear martini was delicious. We will definitely go back.
Food was great, we had a large party for a birthday and they put us at the table in front of the sign in the mall, was the perfect location for semi private.
A good location for a sales and marketing team dinner. Food was excellent although service was initially a little slow.
I wanted to really like this restaurant. I really did. We were 15 minutes early for our reservation (6:30 for a 6:45 reservation) and they were able to accommodate us. That should have been a clue. Right off the bat someone asked us if we wanted sparkling or still water. That was good, then we waited 10 minutes for the server to take our drink order. Then I get an email from open table that I am a no show for my reservation, so I go to the hostess to correct her incorrect entry. Then another 15 minutes and he took our order. He told us the specials and they sounded great, I ordered the truffle short rib ravioli pasta, and my husband ordered the truffle fettuccine with Childers. Our salads came out quick (about 15 minutes after we ordered). I wasn’t expecting the anchovy carcass on top of the Cesar, but whatever it’s Vegas. Salads were good. And then we waited. And waited. And waited. The manager sent us a round on the house, ok.... then about 7:55pm our main course came out. Mine was okay. My husbands was a joke. It was butter smothered noodles with no truffle oil, although it had large truffle shavings. It had little diced up pieces of cubed chicken: pretty gross. The waiter sent out a piece of gross warm cheese cake as a sorry for waiting so long. This restaurant is in a busy, loud mall and we thought we could a quicker “fine” meal. The ambiance is great for a business lunch but for a long drawn out meal, no thank you. I’m writing this review as I wait for my bill... nearly two hours into this ordeal.... The bill arrived, it was $104 and change, without asking they deducted $75 from the bill. Extremely overpriced for the subpar food we received.
The best part of the meal was the drinks, but even then they were overpriced and contained watered down alcohol.
Great server! Great food!
The food was just ok. Not impressed...at all.
Everything was perfect
very overpriced but the rent at the crystal shops must be terribly high!
To begin, I should give credit to the manager of the restaurant for being extremely apologetic and doing all the right things a manager should do in the event of a massive fail.
I am a vegetarian and specifically asked about the sauce prior to ordering and when my meal was delivered to me. (I had ordered the Arancini). My colleague had ordered a salad without the goat cheese.
Sure enough, my colleague found goat cheese in the salad. And I found meat in my sauce.
As I said, the manager and server were both extremely apologetic. They comped dessert and added a discount to the overall check. Had I not asked multiple times about the sauce, I could understand the issues happening. The fact that I did was simply unacceptable.
My bigger issue, frankly, is that I find all the Wolfgang Puck restaurants to be a pale shadow of what they used to be. From the lack of the signature tropical ice tea to a very limited menu that lacked the creativity of what I've come to expect of the Wolfgang Puck brand. This is not just directed to this menu, but to other Puck restaurants, especially the airport outlets, which of course, won't be as high-end as the restaurants but just don't seem to reflect the high-quality ingredients that they did in previous years.
Again, kudos to the staff to doing all the right things to try to recuperate from the incident during my visit, but I won't be returning.
New Years Eve
The day before Christmas Eve, and we made a resize, but it wasn't necessary at 6:30. Try the amazing starter soup: butternut squash. Caesar salads relish. Chicken Parmigiana enough for two to share; it was divine. The fishes, salmon and sea bass, also lovely. You're sitting in the Crystals Shops, attached to the Aria, and you'll overlook the mall. It was easy to chat, as the ambient noise is low. Our server was great, and present. She poured wine and checked on us lots. Not intrusively. I would definitely return.
Not as good as before
Food was wonderful and it was a great experience. Waiter was knowledgeable and came to the table multiple times throughout the dinner.
We stopped to eat before a Vegas Golden Knights game. My wife requires gluten free and with reviews we read it sounded like there were numerous options. But once we went through the menu with the server there were very few . She decided to have the Cioppino which she usually loves. The dish came with clams, mussels, shrimp, calamari, and branzino fish. In general it was tasteless and not filling at all. I had the Osso Bucco and it was pretty good.
We have eaten at other Wolfgany Puck restaurants in Las Vegas and they have been very good (Spago, Lupo and Wolfgang Puck in MGM Grand). Not so much for Cucina. We will not go back.
This is a hidden gem located in the Crystal shopping mall. We were at the Aria and wanted a nice lunch on a Saturday, but most restaurants were serving brunch (which we didn't want). So I quickly checked open table and saw this was close by and available. I figured it would at least be "decent" if it was a Wolfgang Puck restaurant. We were blown away but the quality and the service. We started with a perfectly cooked pizza and then a whole branzino for the table. The fish was equal to any in Italy. It came with broccolini and roasted potatoes, all family-style, and enough for the 5 of us. Lucky us, the Executive Chef came out to filet and serve the fish. We were celebrating our son's 25th birthday and before we could even think about ordering a dessert they brought out FOUR desserts (mini cannolli, ricotta cheesecake, tiramisu, and "to-die -for" donuts) plus limoncello for all. Everything was delicous and so good that we came back the next day and ordered all new items, equally as wonderful. The wine list was decently priced, especially for Vegas.
I've been eating at Cucina for a long time, and while it seemed to be having difficulties with food, service and generally getting it together over the past several months, there was improvement this visit. Our server seemed stretched thin - we experienced long absences between his visits - but he was attentive when he was able to stop by. The food was improved. Glad to see this upswing.
Great meal and friendly service.
While we do not like having to pay for the standard bread and olive oil, the upgrade including olive tapenade is delicious.
Food was great, service was, however, ‘lackluster’.
Wolfgang Puck never disappoints!! Everything was delicious! I could have licked the bowl clean that the Butternut Squash soup was in!
Food was quite good, but the service (or complete lack thereof) took away from the experience.
Service was spotty, paying extra for bread was not usual in any other restaurant I’ve ever been too. Food was average and overpriced for quality.
Everything was lovely except paying $8 for a plain tea.
From the pictures you cannot tell this restaurant is in a mall. That was disappointing. The food was good. Not mind blowing but solid Italian food.
I didn’t like the food at all. Chicken Parmigiana, which waiter raved about, was tough, chewy, and hard to eat, along with some weird inedible fatty pieces. I had to purchase a small side of spaghetti to go with it. The food price, given very poor quality, was absurd! I paid nearly $100 for awful chicken parmigiana, salad, one glass of wine. Go elsewhere in Vegas—it’s shocking that Wolfgang Puck would lend his name to this place. Allegro in the Wynn for Italian & chicken parmigiana is far superior!!! Sixth & Mill in Venetian is also much better!!
Took 25 minutes to get our drinks.
Great presentation and lovely flavors.
