Great great food. Bread+pesto was top notch! Good portions for price on pasta dishes. Very relaxing— great for date night or just good Italian dinner. We were from Minnesota and came across place. Really enjoyed our meal.

A wonderful place on a corner, not on the beach, but near the beach. Great menu. The waiters were outstanding. Came here a long time ago, and it still doesn't miss. One of my favorite wines (Stags Leap & Cake bread). Had a wonderful time. Will be back again and again when i'm in Huntington Beach.

Although I'm relative new to Huntington Beach and, accordingly, my dining ventures here have been somewhat limited to date, this is easily the best restaurant I've eaten in so far. Every dish has been either very good or excellent, especially the soups and pastas. And the service, while a bit slow at times, has also been stellar.

This is a very warm and comforting place. The Laguna could have been cooked at grandmas house. We will return when we visit this area again.

I had been to this restaurant only once before and sat at a table upstairs by the bar, and I really enjoyed it and had a delicious Chillean sea bass. I drove down from Ventura county to come and I wish I had noted in my reservation that we would like to be up in the bar. We were seated next to a table of about 12 people with about 4 young children, and there was a lot of crying and noise that was not conducive to an adult dinner out. I was taking my friend who is the captain of the Garden Grove fire dept. for his birthday . We also had a limo and so the restaurant that night was not quite what I had hoped for. The food was good and the waiter was very nice, it just wasn't the best having crying children next to us.

We were able to walk from our beach resort and see the downtown area. The restaurant was a welcome stop with fantastic food before we headed back to the beach.

Really knowledgeable, friendly staff. The meat and cheese plate was honestly the best thing we ordered! The special (sea bass and asparagus) was a favorite, as was the specially prepared eggplant parm. Would definitely be back for another go for our next trip south of LA.

Our dishes (chicken marsala and lasagna) were lacking in flavor. The server wasn't friendly, in fact, his manner bordered on rude.

We were put off when the waiter asked for our orders, then reached in front of us to grab our table service and rearrange them. Not only was the gesture rude, but he literally interrupted the ordering process. Delicious pesto and focaccia was brought to the table first. When our meals arrived, we quickly realized the pesto was by far the best thing on the table. Our pastas, especially their sauces, were exceedingly bland. Granted, we didn't order fresh pasta or their specials, but the food was so boring I'd never go back.

The only disappointment was the Fragole salad: the roasted golden yellow beets were unavailable, and the strawberry red wine vinaigrette lacked interesting flavor. That being said, the pastas were phenomenal! Most impressive were the fresh homemade pastas--Tortelli di Carne (braised short rib stuffed giant tortellini w/walnut porcini cream sauce) and Pappardelle Al Sugo D'Agnello (ribbon-shaped pasta with hearty braised lamb shoulder). The Lasagna and Fettucine Alfredo were also excellent. Will return again soon.

NYE and the service was excellent! Waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and wine selections. We brought kids too and they loved the pizza. I had the tortellini prosciutto, out of this world sauce!! Highly recommend for any occasion or just last minute night out too!

Party of five were all very pleased with their meals, except one. The lasagna was over cooked and lacked meat with way too much cheese. It should have been sent back but it was Christmas Eve and we were on a timeline.
