   I love the location of this restaurant, and I was very excited to dine at Cucina 503. The service was FANTASTIC, but the restaurant was small and quite loud. The food was underwhelming, but the prices were decent. There were unlisted kid menu dishes available.

   My server recommended the crabcakes which were a special that day. The quality of the meat was good but they had a fishy taste which is not appealing to my palate. Excellent service and recommendations other than that. Reasonably priced.

   We love to come here. The food is excellent and the waitstaff are very gracious without "hovering". Some times we split a salad and each have an appetizer and drink and we are full. My fave is the Frito Misto...so yummy.

   Our server Meredith was wonderful. She made suggestions, explained the menu, offered bread which was a pleasant surprise. Our drinks were delicious and my husband loved his Malbec wine. The food was just okay this time. Lasagna was very greasy. The little Italian donuts were not cooked all the way so mushy. My hubby did like his tiramisu okay.

   I chose this restaurant based on its proximity to the Columbia County Performing Arts Center. I was pleasantly surprised by the ambience considering its location in a strip shopping center. There are several outdoor tables and the interior is dimly lit with well-spaced tables in two dining areas. The menu is not very extensive, but perfectly adequate. The pasta, we were told, is made daily on the premises. We shared a caprese salad and two entrees- shrimp scampi and lasagna. The salad was made using a medley of small sliced grape and cherry tomatoes. The balsamic, mozzarella and basil were just right for the ample serving. The bread was served with two butters and was warm. Both entrees were excellent- the servings were not huge, but we felt they were just the right amount. We each had a dessert and the desserts, tiramisu and panna cotta, were delicious. I had the spring fling cocktail and found it refreshing. The meal was $94. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful - she had several tables and two other people were also bringing dishes out and helping keep needs met. All in all it was a pleasant meal with on point service. The noise level was moderate mostly due to one larger party, but we had no problem having a conversation and at times the dining room felt quite intimate. Brown Kraft paper serves as tablecloths on the tables with a small lamp at each. There are large windows along the front wall looking out on the sidewalk diners and the parking lot. Black drapery with a khaki colored embroidery flank the windows so while the view isn't scenic the whole atmosphere also feels surprisingly a bit upscale.

    I made a reservation for an anniversary and they sat us literally between the door and the hostess. Not what I was expecting considering the reviews. The food was just ok and the service just ok. Will not go back.

    It was Saturday evening at the Masters and we had an 8:00 reservation. The placed was packed with people but you would never know it the way we were quickly seated and served. Bethany did a wonderful job taking care of us with a nice bottle of The Prisoner wine, meatballs & mussels apps, then trout & roasted chicken entrees. All were fantastic! The service was outstanding and I applaud the staff for being ready for the crowd.

    So I had a reservation for 4 following a day at the Masters Tournament. We were a little bit early (30 min) although there was plenty of seating. The receptionist placed us at a table right next to the front door. Every time the door open a blast of air came in. Each guest that walked in the front door had to walk by our table to the receptionist. We had ordered beers and while waiting I got up and looked around. We chose to move to a table in the bar area in the front corner. It was a good spot because I was with friends I hadn't seen in decades and we were meeting at the Masters Tournament. Once inside the bar seating area, our experience improved dramatically. The service was great and the food was good. I think the front dining area servers were miffed that we moved but the table we were seated at was probably the worst table in the place. Why would you give that to someone who has made a reservation?

    Food is inspired and delicious. My companion loves the Lasagna and it is a frequent order of theirs. I just tried the Stuffed trout which was excellent. Salads are big and the Caesar is one of the best around. Service is always top notch!

    Ate here late night with 2 couples and it was outstanding. Far exceeded our expectations, especially considering it’s in a strip mall and the lighted sign for the restaurant was off. The ribeye and scampi were great. I’d avoid the caprese bc there’s no mozzarella. Solid wine list. Wonderful staff.

    I went with two friends, one from DC and one from San Diego. The restaurant was relatively full and fun. The food is fantastic. We had the stuffed trout and the roasted chicken and wild mushroom pasta. (The pasta is made in house.) We started with a house salad, a Caesar salad and the caprese salad. Every dish was first class. The service was wonderful. This is a first class restaurant for foodies, and I most highly recommend. It.

    AVOID!!! The food was absolutely terrible. We ordered two different plates of pasta and they both looked and tasted like Stouffer's. Honestly I truly believe they served us frozen food. It seemed like it was overheated probably from being microwaved. Hardly worth leaving the house for. If you want the same dining experience, save yourself the money and get a box of Stouffer's from the grocery store. And the salad was also terrible. I don't even know how they can mess up salad but they accomplished it. Not something they should be proud of.

    This was our 5th time eating at Cucina 503. The food and drinks were excellent (except for mushy noodles in the Carbonara and Lasagna. Our server and server in training were attentive, and overall we had a great time and food. Prices were better than many nice eateries in the Augusta area.

    Can’t ever go wrong with the lasagna, but the pasta carbonara is amazing. Service is excellent, and Ed bends over backwards to make sure his patrons’ expectations are surpassed. Bread is downright great, and the warm donut holes (can’t remember what they’re called…) we’re a surprising treat.
