Eating here is always a pleasant experience. The food is fresh, flavorful, and always a delight. The mussels and broth are exceptional- you don;t want to waste any of it. We get extra bread to soak it all up. Ashley was pleasant and we never had to wait for the next course. The selection of food, wine, and cocktails will not leave you disappointed. Bryar, the bartender is pleasant and her smile is infectious.
Chef Mendoza and his staff provide an outstanding culinary experience. The food is consistently great and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable.
Have used OpenTable close to 100 times and this is the first time we've shown up with a reservation and found the restaurant closed. Unfortunately this was a business dinner for 8, some visiting from out of the country.
We made a reservations. Drove across town and they were closed. They should either use open table or not.
Food is always good. service is good, Just irritated.
Either Open Table screwed up or Cucina 503, but it never did open and was closed. Maybe next time I won't use or recommend Open Table since you can't seem to communicate with the restaurant to determine if they are open.
Not sure what was going on with the HVAC the evening we were in the restaurant, but it was so hot inside. By the end of the meal, my husband and I were both sweating and I am naturally a cold natured person. Service level was OK, but food was great.
Best Italian cuisine in Augusta. Everything was fresh. Great service.
Food outstanding, service good but courses rushed. Still a favorite.
Food and wine were great with a friendly atmosphere to boot!
Best anniversary celebration ever!! And we’ve been married over 36 years!! The food was awesome and we didn’t feel rushed!
Great local fresh homemade Italian cuisine. Chicken parppardelle outstanding, Frito Misti to die for. We're always pleased here.
This was our first time trying Cucina. We tried the special appetizer of fried okra with Tzatziki sauce and it was great. We also had the lasagna and the pappardelle pasta dish and both were delicious. It was crowded so it was clear that many people like to dine here. Our server was nice and the food came out in a reasonable amount of time. Very fresh and portions were plenty! We will definitely be back and would recommend this location to others.
Another awesome experience at Cucina. We celebrated my wife's birthday and everyone had a great meal and a great time.
My Mom & I were the only ones in the restaurant so the service was excellent. I think the prices were a bit high especially the bottle of wine we shared. The atmosphere could really be improved as it was a bit stark. I would recommend it only because the food was very good and the beet salad was unique.
Best bartenderness (Briar) ever!
Prefect representation of the hidden gems in Augusta, GA! Food was excellent, authentic, great portion sizes, flavor composition, and drinks were equally desirable!
We've been several times and have not ever been disappointed. Food in a word is Delicious. Service is Great.
The food was good, not great. The wine selections were limited. The service was clumsy and lacking - the waitress kept interrupting to tell us why we weren't getting bread, why there was no butter, why this, why that. It was like listening to a child trying to cloud an issue with incessant chatter, hoping you'll forget what they did wrong. To top it off, no ambience, ridiculously small portions, and high prices. We were terribly disappointed and won't be back.
Excellent Wine choices - loved the Turley! Love, Love, Love the Cucina Salad, the shrimp scampi was wonderful, cozy atmosphere, staff seemed short-handed, but other than that, the experience was excellent. Will definitely return!
food was good, i like my gnocchi but portion was very small ragu was good.
This is THE best restaurant in Columbia County! Awesome!
Mother’s Day. Our server was a bit rough around the edges on her table side manners.. maybe she is still new? Love love love the food!!!
Best bartender ever!
Wow. My husband and I recently moved to Augusta from South Florida, and being huge foodies, we were a little nervous about finding top notch dining in this smaller city. Some friends recommended Cucina 503, so we gave it a try. This place needs a better venue than in a strip mall! The ambiance, though simple and unassuming, is pleasant, but doesn’t prepare you for the quality of the food. We were blown away! I worked as a cook in a four star Italian restaurant in Phoenix for a couple years and was heartbroken when it closed down because I didn’t think I’d ever find Italian food that good again. But the food at Cucina 503 was just as refined and absolutely mouthwateringly delicious. Try the Osso Bucco! Best meal I’ve had in a very long time. Our server, Matt, was great, and even pulled an extra wine key out of his pocket and gave it to me when he heard me tell my husband we needed to get a new one for home! We’re thrilled to find this jewel in our new home town, and hope it sticks around for a long long time!
Food very good though limited selection. Service very good. Drinks excellent. The main gripe we have always had is the paper covering the tables. It may save laundry costs but it is a real hassle for diners. It gets in the way, shirt sleeves hang on it and, in my opinion, it cheapens the experience. Still, we love the food and will continue to enjoy the restaurant.
Very comfortable restaurant. Food was outstanding. Server was very attentive. Great meal after a long day at The Masters.
It was very good, I would go back.
In town for Masters Tournament...
We had a lovely time.. The staff was so friendly,
dinner was delicious!
We went during Masters week. The food was excellent. Our server took great care of us and offered an excellent overview of drinks first and then entrees. It was a perfect complement to the Masters golf tournament.
Great restaurant! Great food! Great service!! We’ll definitely be back!!
We were in the area for the 2019 Masters tournament and were in the mood for Italian. The food was excellent and the service was great. Nice staff and quick service, despite the fact that it was busy. Would definitely recommend!
The restaurant was small, tables close together. Service was excellent, my wife and I both had the shrimp scampi which was a poor choice. The shrimp and pasta were swimming in a thick butter sauce, so thick it resembled Mac and Cheese. The shrimp were small but good butthe butter sauce coating them and the pasta was overwhelming. TWe each ate less than half of the meal.
Always an incredible experience.
Happy to bring friends , clients and family.
Ed , thanks for always indulging our food senses !!
Masters - great experience.
Party of 6 during Masters Week and everything was SUPERB!! The food was OUTSTANDING!
highly recommend cucina very good in so many ways our party was very pleased
This is my favorite restaurant in town! EVERYTHING is so delicious!
We went during Masters week and even though they were packed we were seated right at our reservation time and service was very good. We all had something different and all three meals were delicious. If I have to be a little picky I think they could do a little better job with presentation. But all in all a very good experience.
This was a little gem. Food was excellent and the inside was really well done.
