All around a great experience. A couple dishes were slightly undercooked but otherwise a perfect evening.

The chef tasting menu was an extraordinary value. Non-stop delicious food, including dessert. The ambiance is romantic but the service and vibe is low key and friendly. I can’t wait to return.

Service was adequate and prompt.
Appetizers were very good- okra and liver.
Entre- vinegar in the sauce overrode the sweetness of the scollops that we’re well cooked.
Cost of items from fixed price were not stated.
Wine by the glass was pricey.
Price of the meal was not in keeping with a $$ scale.

Horrible experience. Lamb was all bones. Service was poor. Not likely to return. Unfortunately it was one of our favorite places in Asheville but that has changed.

A wonderful experience as always. The current menu focused on Tuscan cuisine is exceptional. Best authentic Italian restaurant in Asheville. Highly recommend.

Disappointed! Service was lacking, description of food was off. Told we were getting 3 medium to large scallops, but received 2 small ones (chef table)

While our party of five expected a good meal, we were surprised at just how excellent was every aspect of our dinner. Nothing we ate was ordinary. Everything was several steps above all other local Italian restaurants, each dish truly innovative, displaying the obvious talent and dedication of the chef. Absolutely the best dining experience we have had in Asheville, and we have been to all the local top tier restaurants. Wonderful!!!

Highly recommend getting the Chef’s tasting menu. All of the food was amazing and the portions were just right. They change their menus frequently to focus on a different region, and we went while all menu items and wines were in the region of Tuscany.

We recommend sitting at the kitchen bar and ordering the fixed price menu. Ours included 3 tapas of freshly prepared ingredients, 2 yummy first course pasta dishes, our choice of entrees (the short rib entree was a feast for eyes and appetite) and a desert. It was a phenomenal meal. Be sure to also check out their new wine bar (on the other side of "All Fired Up" storefront. We will be back to try the delicious looking wood fired porchetta available in the wine bar.

The restaurant was very quaint. We booked at last minute and was able to sit at a high top in the bar area. It was just perfect for our date night. There was the option for price fixed for 4 course meal. It was themed from Sicilian Region and was delicious.it was very filling. The only disappointment was I opted for the scallops and they only serve 2 scallops. If I had not had the other 2 courses prior I would have been hungry.

Food we tried was great, and bursting with unusual flavors. All the Italian dishes had a slight spin from the norm. We didn’t try the tasting menu (time constraints) so we combined two entrees into one outstanding dish. The spaghetti (which has no red sauce) and the lamb meatballs. Delicious. Drawbacks: narrow neck water glass bottles (difficult clean properly) and visible kitchen staff with no beard guards (and they needed big beard guards).

This is the second time we have been there and the first time the food was inconsistent - some good some bad - the menu is pretentious - you want good Italian food and you are presented with a tasting menu as one option but very few a la carte dishes to choose from and everything based on a region of Italy. One good dish we had was an appetizer of fresh anchovies on mozzarella. The bread was also good. Everything from there went downhill. The spaghetti had no flavor - just oil and garlic and we had to add salt. The other pasta with Pork Ragu had no flavor whatsoever and the noodles were not al dente - they were too thick, undercooked and rubbery. The pizza toppings of eggplant, onions and peppers were done well but the pizza itself was not crispy and the crust was way too thick at the edge - I had to cut off the crust and eat the middle. The desserts ranged from excellent to appalling - the ricotta almond torta was excellent, the Sicilian Ice cream Sandwich was weird and the cannoli was appalling - my husband is Sicilian and we are from NYC and eat cannolis all the time - this one basically tasted like whipped cream with no flavor stuffed inside a cookie that was over cooked and oily. The wine list is good and the Vin Santo with dessert was lovely. It is too bad though that this second visit was so disappointing and expensive to boot -we will never eat there again.

Made a reservation and was given one of the worst tables possible directly in front of the pass. Waiters and waitresses constantly cutting in between our table though out our meal. Kitchen was so loud behind us.

Wine mark up was way above average. My girlfriend asked to see the bottle of the wine we were drinking at 12 dollars a glass. Vinvino app showed the same wine with a retail price of 9.99 a bottle. Pours were not generous, so they are probably getting 6-7 glasses per bottle.

Food was hit and miss.

Will never return and have advised others to stay away.

My husband treated me to dinner at Cucina to celebrate my birthday and our time there was spectacular as always. We both ordered the chef’s tasting menu and the theme that night was Sicilian. All the courses were delicious with fresh tastes and textures, and the house-made bread was the best we’ve ever had. Our server, Aubrey, was wonderful, friendly and very informative about the food, cocktail and wine offerings. We highly recommend Cucina 24!

We have eaten here in the past, and the food was much better. We had the mushroom pizza, which was extremely bland, and the beef and veal pasta, which was also very bland.

Went recently for our anniversary. Glad we preserved with the host who didn't seem to have his act together. We arrived about 10 minutes early for our seating and had to wait over 15 minutes more for a table. We were the first ones there for our reservation time but two other parties were seated before us. I have no idea why and the host didn't provide an answer. However, our server was attentive - if not a little green - and we enjoyed one of the prix fixe options. Each plate was a fun, inventive twist on rustic Northern Italian fare. Very well prepared and delicious to the last bite. Have to agree with other reviews that there's a dearth of wines under $35. We went with a delightful Nero d'Avola, that our server okayed with the sommelier, and it was worth the price. We will probably try Cucina 24 again but hopefully the host will have a better night when we do.

Cucina 24 did a wonderful job providing a great meal and environment. They accommodated our request for a window seat (for my five-year old son to look out), the chef's menu was fantastic and the drink pairings were thoughtful and very tasty.

Everything was superb minus the host seating several tables of two before us even though we were there first and had been waiting for 25 minutes after our reservation times.
