Cucci Ristorante Ratings and Reviews
The meal was outstanding. My only comment was that I asked for a 1/2 litre of wine, and when the waiter returned, he had brought a full bottle and opened it. I didn't have the heart to tell him after that point. We didn't finish the bottle because we were driving and wasted quite a bit of it.
I use Cucci for business meals because of the reliable food and service. As well the ambience is good, not too noisy, but the place feels alive and not stuffy. We had the added benefit of Cucci participating in the Taste of Oakville. T of O portions were generous and the trout was very well prepared.
Loved the place. Personally very nice and cute place. Personable and kids do waiters. We seated at the bar as we wanted a more closer space to have a conversation while we eat rather than sit across from one another.. But even the high tables and standard seating seemed so romantic and sweet. Definitely recommend it for the upcoming Valentine's ♥ reservations
The reservation was not a problem as it was a Monday night. We were celebrating my girlfriends birthday.
The meal was fine, and the service was as it should be, attentive, but not overly conversational.
I selected a wine from the list that is discounted on Monday evenings, as many from your selection are included with this feature.
Unfortunately, when the bill arrived, the discount for the Masi, Ripasso was not correct.
$100 regular price, is $75 on the wine list and the website. However I was charged $80.
The bartender just shrugged his shoulders when I pointed this out, as I had already paid the bill without bringing up this oversight. His reply was, "I'll point that out to the manager so the next guy doesn't get over charged ". In my opinion, that was a inappropriate response. It was only $5.00, but I am a man of principal, and this shouldn't have happened.
Also, my girlfriend loves espresso after a good meal, and this night your espresso machine wouldn't even turn on, leaving only regular coffee as an option. We passed.
In closing, your offer of live, cozy or soft entertainment is seriously lacking. Your performer cannot sing or carry a soft note.
He was terrible.
Will i come back to Cucci?
This was my second visit, and being closley linked to Oakville as a Town employee, I wil have a hard time endorsing your restaurant as, "the place" to dine.
Pasquale's, on Lakeshore is every bit as good, and a much better value. And it's quiet, as I'd rather have quiet than listen to your performer.
Overall, it's a nice place, but not worth $300 for one shared appetizer, one entree each, and one bottle of wine.
We chose Winterlicious (Taste of Oakville) menu. The food was excellent and the portions quite generous. Unfortunately the Service was appalling, our Server was there initially to up sell the wine selection and then non existent until the end of the evening. We had to ask other Servers to assist with pouring the wine, remove the plates etc. Our Server was around but simply too busy to attend to us. We had a similar experience on our last visit which is why we waited two years to go back, I guess we will wait longer next time!
Enjoyed the live music, beautiful restaurant . I was there on Saturday night and the restaurant had a fabulous buzz to it, people were dressed from sexy, chic casual to a little bit more. Would be perfect for a special night out with friends or significant other . There were a few tables with groups and others with couples . Our server was helpful, funny and thought of everything. We opted to share an appitizer he had it come already split onto individual plates. Btw- the Mushroom on toast was great. The restaurant is not stuffy , it's not pretentious it's a really beautiful ambiance. Would definitely go back , and would recommend as well.
We were seated at a table top. Not the ideal place because we were squeezed beside a larger group. Very noisy and energetic. High traffic area by the bar. We got used to it. The food was great but interrupted several times when staff were moving tables and chairs. Suggestion to book at least 2 wks ahead to get the table or setting you expect.
It is not a first time at that restaurant. The food was always perfect, but this time my steak was hard, overcooked ( i asked for medium) . However, service was excellent. Good selection of wines.
Also, we waited for a food to arrive a long time
I like that restaurant but this time my food was not so good.
In this small quaint village of Bronte you would not expect to find an exceptional dining experience. You will discover a super knowledgeable staff ( Dideder ) and wonderfully prepared local fresh food. We have experienced this wonderful establishment on many occasions - our favorite main courses are the veal chop, lamb chops, pasta with lobster, and a great variation on a Caesar Salad, a wonderful reasonably priced wine list and a very sophisticated decor. We are from Dallas, Texas - travel extensively and know and outstanding experience when we find one.
Took 8 business associates out for our holiday lunch and the place was great! There were vegetarian options, and everyone absolutely enjoyed their meals. The waiter we had was great, we were there for a long time and we didn’t feel we were an inconvenience. I would definitely come here again!
Although my reservation was confirmed via email, I also received a call about five hours before my reserved time. Even during this busy time of year, we were seated promptly and from that point on the service was outstanding! Lots of choices although price range is moderately high, but well worth the cost. Extensive wine list and once again, price range moderately high, although the house brands are likely cheaper.
Our server was very efficient, and kept an eye on our table throughout our dining experience.
This was my third visit to Cucci since I moved to Oakville and I have not been disappointed.
I had made a reservation for lunch at this restaurant almost a month ago for 2 people. We had enjoyed excellent service and overall the food was very good. Having barely finished our beverages we were rudely asked twice to vacate the table. The restaurant needed it for a party of 8. If I knew this in the beginning I would have asked to sit somewhere else, but to be asked in such an inappropriate manner was inexcusable and clearly put a damper on the afternoon. The whole dining experience was approximately an hour and 40 minutes. Unfortunately I will not be returning to this restaurant.
I have canvassed the opinion of 4 guests all of whom liked the idea of going to Cucci's but were not impressed. Food was served cold to luke warm; the duck was tasteless and luke warm; Having a table right at the entrance within range of the 'band' led to a noisy evening where the guests had great difficulty in carrying on a conversation; Preparation time was long-- of course Cucci's had a full house. Coffee top-ups had to be asked for . On the plus side the desserts were very good. Price wise, on the high side across the board.
