The food is absolutely wonderful. If you are lucky to have Ernie serve you, the best experience ever!
Cucci is always great, one of the best restaurants in the GTA West, with an interesting menu, great service and an extensive wine list - I always give Marino, the sommelier, a budget and a region from which to choose the wine. He hasn't missed yet!
It's always busy, of course, which brings with it some noise during peak hours. It would be wonderful if the Catch Group could do something to lower the ambient noise level just a little, for us old folks who are hard of hearing anyway.
Great service! Staff were very attentive. Prices a bit high for what you get. Less expensive in Toronto for same calibre
Service was good. Lovely wine list. But the duck was overcooked , defiantly not medium rare. And the shrimp in the pasta special was also overcooked. Rated ok as we did not provide feedback, so no opportunity to correct. My view is a restaurant at this price point should not have 2 overcooked dishes.
Little pricey but worth it, so we’re saving this one for another special occasion, but we will be back.
Delicious food. Top quality. Excellent service
Our favourite date night restaurant! The food and service, as always, was amazing!!!
Great, consistent quality and taste of food. Service also great and the recommendation for the Amarone wine was a great choice. The black cod special was cooked perfectly topped off with a nicely laced tiramisu for dessert!
Great food great service!
We love coming to Cucci and keep it as our, "go to" spot for date night. This time we went on the Tuesday night (no corkage fee) and so we brought a special bottle with us to celebrate Valentines early. We had a great meal and will be back!
The meal was outstanding. My only comment was that I asked for a 1/2 litre of wine, and when the waiter returned, he had brought a full bottle and opened it. I didn't have the heart to tell him after that point. We didn't finish the bottle because we were driving and wasted quite a bit of it.
A great dining experience. Food was awesome, service was outstanding and live music was the icing on the cake!
The quality of food is just so so, like from a regular restaurant chain, does not justify the price.
I use Cucci for business meals because of the reliable food and service. As well the ambience is good, not too noisy, but the place feels alive and not stuffy. We had the added benefit of Cucci participating in the Taste of Oakville. T of O portions were generous and the trout was very well prepared.
Loved the place. Personally very nice and cute place. Personable and kids do waiters. We seated at the bar as we wanted a more closer space to have a conversation while we eat rather than sit across from one another.. But even the high tables and standard seating seemed so romantic and sweet. Definitely recommend it for the upcoming Valentine's ♥ reservations
The reservation was not a problem as it was a Monday night. We were celebrating my girlfriends birthday.
The meal was fine, and the service was as it should be, attentive, but not overly conversational.
I selected a wine from the list that is discounted on Monday evenings, as many from your selection are included with this feature.
Unfortunately, when the bill arrived, the discount for the Masi, Ripasso was not correct.
$100 regular price, is $75 on the wine list and the website. However I was charged $80.
The bartender just shrugged his shoulders when I pointed this out, as I had already paid the bill without bringing up this oversight. His reply was, "I'll point that out to the manager so the next guy doesn't get over charged ". In my opinion, that was a inappropriate response. It was only $5.00, but I am a man of principal, and this shouldn't have happened.
Also, my girlfriend loves espresso after a good meal, and this night your espresso machine wouldn't even turn on, leaving only regular coffee as an option. We passed.
In closing, your offer of live, cozy or soft entertainment is seriously lacking. Your performer cannot sing or carry a soft note.
He was terrible.
Will i come back to Cucci?
This was my second visit, and being closley linked to Oakville as a Town employee, I wil have a hard time endorsing your restaurant as, "the place" to dine.
Pasquale's, on Lakeshore is every bit as good, and a much better value. And it's quiet, as I'd rather have quiet than listen to your performer.
Overall, it's a nice place, but not worth $300 for one shared appetizer, one entree each, and one bottle of wine.
I was disaapointed that cucci was signed up for taste of Oakville but did not honour it on the weekend. That was the reason on went there on Sat night.
Exceptional food quality and presentation. The ambiance is reminiscent of a 1940's supper club with modern decor and flair.
As always a lovely evening highlighted by not only the food and ambience but the wonderful service. Pricey but overall full value for the experience .
We chose Winterlicious (Taste of Oakville) menu. The food was excellent and the portions quite generous. Unfortunately the Service was appalling, our Server was there initially to up sell the wine selection and then non existent until the end of the evening. We had to ask other Servers to assist with pouring the wine, remove the plates etc. Our Server was around but simply too busy to attend to us. We had a similar experience on our last visit which is why we waited two years to go back, I guess we will wait longer next time!
