Beautiful, elegant restaurant. The server was delightful and manager made us welcome. We had a reservation early evening, but were placed in a table that was very small and awkwardly placed. They moved us as soon as we asked. We were very happy with our food. We will definitely go back.
Great first experience ! We usually eat at 1792 but this was a great choice ! Salmon was excellent
Wedding upstairs avoid eating there on Saturday Night.
Once again, the chefs at the Crystal Room have outdone themselves! We return to the Bedford Springs Resort mainly because of the delicious meals we enjoy here. My husband and I have strict dietary restrictions (he's vegan, I'm vegetarian with several serious food allergies). We have never had a problem eating fantastic meals here. To the contrary, the chefs seem to view this as an opportunity to create new things that we can enjoy. I encourage anyone who is in an similar situation to give the restaurants at the resort a try (we've had similar treatment at all of them!). The service is as great as the food. Although the resort is huge a visit here feels like coming home to extended family for a visit. I encourage getting in touch a little in advance if your restrictions are complex.
Wonderful service and elegant ambience. Would request table 57 again on our next visit.
What more can I say that I've already checked on previous pages? The ambiance was superb, thee presentation was picturesque, the food was excellent, the staff was professional and courteous and the desserts were out of this world! We hope to be able to return again next Christmas!
We went to the Crystal dining room for Christmas brunch. The ambiance is outstanding and the food and service were very good. The only issue was our table. I believe it was added to expand the number of seats available and it was directly across from the waiter's station, half on half off an area rug, and was a "wobbler". We really did not mind enough to request another table but it was annoying to have to be very careful where we put our feet.
Don't let this stop you from trying the Crystal room. We really enjoyed the brunch and will return.
Todd was our waiter and because of him we had a perfect night. We were comped a desert and chose a soufflé which was our very first ever and it was fantastic. The choices Todd helped us make were excellent.
The next morning we returned for breakfast and chose the buffet which was spectacular.
One of our favorite places. The food was delicious and the selection was great. We also enjoyed being served by our favorite waitress, Vicky! She’s the best and always remembers us each year!
It was a very quaint place to have dinner with family or a loved one. I will definitely be going back.
We’ve been very impressed on our recent visits to the Crystal Dining Room. Both the food and service have been exceptional. Would highly recommend a visit.
Absolutely loved this place!!!!! Amazing everything
We are at the Omni Bedford Springs Resort celebrating my birthday. We had dinner here and everything was exquisite! The ambiance, staff, food, everything! I highly recommend this place for dinner. We also had the breakfast buffet that was really good!
I brought my boyfriend here to treat him for Marine Corps Birthday. While the pricing is very expensive, the food quality was worth every penny. He had ordered the special which was a 20 Oz bone in Ribeye. The best steak I’ve ever had. I had a seafood dish with crab, lobster and shrimp. Absolutely amazing. Our waiter was extremely friendly, personable and prompt. Overall we were not disappointed. I’ve been to other expensive restaurants and none have come close to this one. Very pleased.
Overall service was friendly and attentive. There were a few things that were disappointing. Firstly we were offered three types of water: Perrier, spring, or tap. Of course we all asked for spring water since this place is known for their natural springs. However when the gentlemen brought it to the table I asked which spring it was from and he said “oh this is just tap water, I don’t know why we offer three. This is just from the faucet”. The meat was cooked to perfection, but the side dishes lacked seasoning and salt. I had a veggie pasta which ended up just being a little bit of spiralized zucchini. That was pretty disappointing considered it lacked seasoning and cost almost 30$.
Wonderful dining room experience. Our family had a very enjoyable evening overall. Our waitress and food were excellent. only improvement needed was there was no one to greet us at hostess desk. We stood around not knowing what to do - and did have reservations so they knew we we’re coming.
Great food! Extremely friendly staff! They were accommodating to one of our dietary allergies, much more than any restaurant I am dined in!
We were at Bedford Springs celebrating our anniversary (we were also married at BS). My wife and I both had the Chilean sea bass and agreed it was the best we have experienced. Bravo!
We enjoyed wonderful service in a fantastic atmosphere. Appetizer to dessert did not disappoint.
Took my wife for our 10th anniversary. Vicki, our waitress was kind, helpful and prompt. The room was exquisite and the food was perfect. We spent the same amount of money on a meal in Pittsburgh the night before, and that experience was much less than stellar in comparison. Can’t wait to go back!
Great place! I wish the menu had more options but really liked what I got (coq au vin).
My husband and I dined here on a Saturday evening for our 17th wedding anniversary. I had noted the special occasion in my reservation on OpenTable. When our server, Todd, greeted us, he wished us both a Happy Anniversary and would continue to make reference to the special occasion throughout the course of our meal. I must mention that Todd was very friendly, warm, and attentive, as well as knowledgeable about the menu, wine pairings, and specialty spirits and cocktails. We started with the charcuterie board which was fantastic. I need either the source of or the recipe for the pineapple chutney served with the board - so yummy! For our entrees, I had the seafood tagliatelle which Todd recommended and it was phenomenal. Three HUGE shrimp, gigantic lumps of crab meat, gigantic lumps of lobster meat, and two intact lobster claws (shelled) - just...WOW. I paired that with the Wente Chardonnay which, although oaked, was not too in-your-face. It was rather crisp for a Chardonnay, which is what I like. My husband had the pork tenderloin and said it was fantastic (it was served medium). He also enjoyed the spaetzel served with the pork. For dessert, we shared the passionfruit souffle with the ginger cream englaise. GOODNESS ME, was that delicious! Todd offered (and we accepted!) small glasses of dessert wine that remained from the prior evening's chef's table dinner event. What a perfect accompaniment to our dessert. Because there were two weddings in-house that evening, the noise level was not what we expected when we were seated. But we made the best of the situation by trying to guess the songs just by the bass line (which was all we could hear/feel). And the bands took a break midway through our meal and we were able to enjoy the true ambiance of The Crystal Room during the second half of our evening.
Excellent upscale restaurant.. Food and service outstanding .
The room itself is beautiful, but it's under the ballroom, so our dinner was accompanied by "Hey Ya" and the chandeliers literally shaking. The food was good, but for the price we paid, we have had better. Staff was awesome, so overall, we enjoyed our meal and would recommend it.
Another fine dining experience..truly a gem in Bedford.
Our third time at the Crystal Dining Room and the food was excellent! Our server, Alicia, was fantastic and we will be requesting her in the future. She was very knowledgeable about the menu, wine list, resort and area. Thank you, Alicia, for a wonderful experience!
The resort is large old 19cent original w amazing grounds, sport facilities and gorgeous views of surrounding forested mountains. The air is tonic. The accommodations are very good. There are several dining options. We had dinner in Crystal Room twice. Beyond expectations in every way. Food delicious and creative. Service impeccable. Our server was Alicia both times, a week in between. She remembered us and our preferences. She is both warm and friendly and v professional. Its clear she enjoys her job. The room is v elegant. But its not pretentious and you dont need a jacket. Highly recommend!! Lobster risotto. Grass fed beef. Excellent home grown salads. Chef even did a custom dessert of fresh peaches and vanilla ice cream. Also a solid wine list. Ill be back for sure. Thank you Alicia
Lovely evening at dinner
Everything was great! It would be nice if the menus were updated regularly online. There were some things that they didn’t have.
Expensive--quality of food was fair. We ordered a New York Strip and it was more like pot roast, not steak. Caesar Salad was two sprigs of Romaine with a waffle on the side, and a tablespoon of dressing.
The service was friendly and attentive.
The dining room suffers from having an open kitchen in what was designed as a formal dining room. Vents hidden within decorative dividers between seating against the walls gave off the worst mold and mildew odor, spoiling the meal.
No dress code for a formal dining room!
Poor wine list.
Excellent atmosphere and food. Your entire staff is fantastic.
Food was very good but both our main dishes (Coq au vin and seafood pappardelle) were very salty. Very generous portions. We split the Caesar...it was delicious.
We had Alicia for our service and she was wonderful. No room for dessert.
Excellent food, ambience and service. Just a little too pricey to afford.
Everything was great from beginning to end!
Delicious food, beautiful setting, phenomenal waitstaff.
Excellent service and food,
Seafood Tagliatelle was exceptional and loaded with shrimp, lobster and crab. Comfortable dining and delightful staff.
Loved our evening and meal. It was memorable in every way!
The the loud music from the band from the wedding reception above us was somewhat distracting. Even the beautiful chandeliers above us were viabrating!
