Our server for dinner was Emily. She was very helpful with the menu options and she was extremely attentive to all of our needs.
Our meals arrived promptly and temperatures were perfect. We would definitely come back again.
What a great spot for date night. Perfect level of class and ambiance.
Nice and attentive employees and a pretty room. With that said it is very overpriced for what it is. Had a filet Oscar style and the filet was extremely salty and the crab was very fishy tasting like it came from an expired can.
Service was very good but food was pretty ordinary. Expected food to be exceptional.
Waitress was amazing. Food was just “ok”. The chicken was rubbery and the walls next to the table had oil food stains on them. I think there is plenty of room for improvement.
I ordered the petite Filet mignon. It was a huge disappointment. The steak was thin, flat and extremely salty. No sides included. Save your money and eat out or at the Frontier Tavern…money better spent
My husband and I ate here for our anniversary. The food was very good. The only reason I would hesitate to go back is the price. A 10 oz filet mignon was $73. I don’t think any filet mignon is worth that amount of money but I had my heart set on steak and got the 10oz vs. the 6oz to share with my husband. He ordered the scallops. Also very good. But for 4 large scallops for $40 dollars again not sure worth the price. $10 a scallop seems a bit steep. I digress, we had a great meal and great evening, leaving us full but pockets empty.
Great food and great service for the limited help they had.
Probably the nicest place to stay and dine in Bedford. Beautiful decor. Very classy atmosphere. Great wine and cocktail selections. The food menu has a nice selection of appetisers, and main items that includes really nice cuts of steaks and fish. This restaurant is known for their steaks. Feel free to give it a try. I was hungry enough for anything heavy tonight. I selected the Caesar salad. It’s was a very small serving, but was nicely presented. The French onion soup was very good. I recommend it! Lastly, I ordered the crab cake. It was a generous portion, topped with sliced avocado. I wasn’t all that impressed with it. Lacked flavour, in my opinion.
Service was very good. Stephen was our server. He understood the menu very well and was very good at explaining the preparation of each item I asked him about.
Pricing. The restaurant is beautiful inside. The items are very gourmet in size. Great quality. I felt the pricing was a little too high for the area. I guess they’re able to charge whatever they like since there’s nothing else around here.
Overall, this was a nice place to dine. I would recommend it for a special occasion with an overnight stay (the hotel is beautiful). Be prepared to spend some money. Totally worthwhile, since there’s nothing else close to this type of restaurant in Bedford. I would visit again to try one of the steaks, since the restaurant is known for their steaks.
Very quiet and the service was sincere and refreshing. Our meals were good. Wished the menu had more selections.
Ambience and service is outstanding. Food was good, not outstanding to be expected for this venue, Bedford's top spot. Menu is limited. Filets we average and a bit disappointing.
Food and service was very good but there was a large party that came into the restaurant during dinner and they were very noisy.
The lamb we ate was amazing. The carrots were almost raw and not very flavorful. It was nearly impossible to cut them, even with a knife. The service and atmosphere were outstanding. I would eat there again, but would definitely ask them to cook the vegetables more.
Our server Todd was attentive, kind, and knowledgeable. Given current times, we did not have a long wait to receive our food and were also seated as soon as we arrived. We ordered an appetizer, soup, and an entree to split. All of the above were heavily salted, which impacted the ability to enjoy the flavors of the dishes themselves. The creme brûlée was fantastic and a can’t miss. In terms of ambiance, the only decor consisted of vintage photos of the deceased, which was a bit morbid. Could use some updating. Did not believe quality of meal matched the price, but our server made up for any disappointment.
Our server, Vicky was outstanding. She was attentive to all of our needs.
Superb. Again and again, each time and for every occasion this place does not disappoint. The mark of a fine restaurant is consistency. I have lost count of the # of times that I have dined at this fine restaurant. It is always the same which is excellent. The best of the best.
We each ordered beef, filet mignon and a boneless ribeye. Both were cooked to perfection. The staff of very polite, professional and friendly.
Steak was fantastic and the service was wonderful.
It was an embarrassment to request rolls with the $60 steaks that we ordered, and then were nickeled and dined and told each roll would cost $2 more. The lamb chops were way overpriced for the quality received. I doubt I’d ever eat at this restaurant again. My wife and I have been visiting here for years but it will most likely end as the resort is in need of a lot of deferred maintenance.
Been a while since being at Omni Crystal Dinning Room in Bedford , We got our reservation , took a ride from Baltimore up and back after dinner .

The food was extremely over-salted and inedible. Very disappointing for the price paid...
Wonderful evening! We planned to dine with a friend from childhood but the remnants if hurricane Ida flooded the roads around Bedford and he could not get to the restaurant. We enjoyed dinner so much we will make the 5 hour drive again for dinner and to see my friend.
Everything was spot on, the food, the service, the setting. Bedford Springs itself is a great place to visit. The fact that they have this great restaurant serving outstanding food is an added bonus.
excellent as usual. A bit pricey but then again we don't eat there everyday.
My server Stephanie (I believe that was her name) was so friendly and attentive. I had such a lovely experience overall.
Our steaks were very over cooked. Twice!
The decor is lovely and the service was excellent. Problem was the quality of the food was poor for such prices and setting. Primarily our steaks. I had the filet and my husband had the ribeye. They were both only about a half inch thick. His was slightly overcooked. Mine was dry. They both lacked flavor.
Everything was wonderful. The service was great and the food was exquisite.
The food was good and the service was great! The pictures on the wall of the Bedford history creeper me out alittle. It gave me plantation vibes. But overall, it was a good experience
Everything was wonderful. Meals delicious, atmosphere classy and service from our server, Emily was friendly and attentive. Definitely would come back!
Our waiter Todd was amazing. He helped us navigate the menu for our food preferences. He was very friendly and down to earth while also making sure we felt like we were having a fun and special evening. He was always prompt and made sure we had what we needed without being intrusive. Such a great waiter! The food was also really good. The filet steak w the truffle Demi sauce was spectacular. Also the lavender creme brûlée is a must try! Thanks for such a nice evening.
Main entrées were flavorful but charging two dollars extra for two rolls… No way! $20 for a bourbon old-fashioned… No way! A Caesar salad that has maybe six bites… No way.
Fantastic dinner celebration for my birthday. We shared the Seafood Cocktail appetizer (pictured). My husband and I both indulged in steak dinner and shared two sides. Steaks were fantastic and cooked to order as requested. The Cheddar Mashed Potatoes were fantastic. The Spinach not so much - we are accustomed to Creamed Spinach at a steakhouse themed restaurant. This spinach was just cooked. Very boring. My favorite dessert is Crème brûlée. We ordered it despite it being Lavender Crème brûlée and my fear was correct. It was reminiscent of having a natural bath scent in my dessert. Lavender is nice but not in my food, please. We love the Bedford Springs. We will return again and again and again!
The food was outstanding and the service by our waiter Stephen was top notch. He was seriously the very best part of our stay! The noise from the wedding upstairs was annoying and ruined the usual lovely ambience.
Definitely exceeded our expectations!
Celebrated our Crystal Anniversary in the Crystal Dining Room. We each had the filet, which was delicious. The sides are large enough to share. We had the sweet potatoes and balsamic cauliflower, which were also tasty. One side would have probably been enough, but it is tempting to try more. Seating is not very private, so this is not the place for an intimate meal. Couples are seated along the wall - one side is a long, shared booth-style bench, and the other is a facing chair. The Crystal Dining Room also serves an expansive breakfast buffet daily (no reservation required). Wait staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. The Crystal Room is appropriately adorned with crystal chandeliers, and the decor features 19th-century photographic portraits of guests to the historic resort.
Wonderful as always
One of the best meals we have ever had and the waiter was fantastic!
