CRUST Ratings and Reviews
Awesome Open Table recommendation. I'm from NYC and the pizza is in the top 5 best I've ever had. The chicken parmagiana is outstanding as is the salad. Will definitely go back and try other dishes. The owners make you feel right at home, so introduce yourself if you get a chance. Signed, A Foodie
Great place, food and atmosphere. My only complaint is that the table seating is too tight. Customers and servers are constantly brushing up against you and it interrupts a conversation at a table and makes me feel like my space is being invaded constantly. I know it is great that you can fill the tables, but to keep the customers coming back, please rethink how you have the tables arranged.
Omg . What a gem . Mom and pop establishment, that is sooo Miami , without the pretentiousness . Outdoor seating is fab, super casual setting, and surface is out of this world . Food is fresh , and portions are insane . Beat octopus I ever had. Ambience is not sooo trendy , but the food and service make up for it .
Enjoyed last Friday night very much at Crust. Staff all good, very well trained, and all wanting to assist. So hard to find well trained staff in Miami but not here. Food portions are incredible. Can share many of the items which is probably preferable just so you can order even more different things. Sharing would be the thing to do in a group. Price points all very reasonable. Including the wine list where so many other restaurants go way overboard here with the mark-ups. Definitely a place to recommend and to return to.
If you are in Miami, get here! The service was INCREDIBLE! Water being filled, checking in on us without ever being overbearing or in the way. One of the diners said it was their best service in ten years. The food is amazing. I had a tomato sauce pizza with octopus, tomatoes and capers. The octopus was the most tender I have ever had. Smoky from the grill it was fantastic. I also had a prosciutto and fig white pizza. Also amazing. Their crust was perfectly done. This place is aptly named, for sure. Garlic rolls are insanely good. Salty and cheesy on top with a soft doughy center. Wonderful but, be warned, filling! Another diner shared some kale salad. Not my thing but, the dressing (they make all dressing in house) was wonderful. The pizzas are big. A small was way more than I could eat. Entrees are huge and very good. They have a three course meal that includes a huge salad (including caprese), a massive entree (lasagna and lamb were very popular) and a big desert - all for $39!!! Note: the lamb comes with a mint risotto that may not be for everyone but, compliments the lamb wonderfully. I had a house merlot and it was very nice and reasonably priced at $8. This place is a gem. Make reservations as it was packed for a Sunday dinner. Expect to take your time, as we dined for about two hours (no wait) but, when the food is this good, why would you ever want to rush? Very, very affordable (small pizza start at $11 plus toppings) and wonderful in service and in food. Not to be missed.
Theres a reason Crust is my favorite Italian spot, well more than one. The dim lighting, those meatballs, the friendly service, well I could go on. They even customized their Crust Pizza to go light on the blue cheese. My Girlfriend, who usually leaves a little bit, finished and enjoyed her spinach salad with chicken. The glass of port at the end is a sweet, classy touch.
This was our 1st time at Crust and everyone loved it. From salads to the main entree, everything was delicious. The meat ball appetizer was amazing... some of the best tomato/spaghetti sauce I’ve ever tasted. The salmon was a big hit and the Tiramisu was off the chart. The service staff was excellent and we were greeted by the manager. All in all, I highly recommend Crust if you are looking for a great meal in the City.
