Great Food! Service was excellent. Menu was extensive.
Crush never disappoints! We live in Columbus and have a place in Sandusky so we spend summer weekends at the lake. We always take our friends and family to Crush and our guests always love it.
This was our first time at Crush and we will be back!! The food along with the service was awesome. Highly recommended.
Service was fantastic! Unfortunately the food wasn’t that great at all..lacked much of a flavor.
Love the food at Crush, have been here many times, food is always delicious. Great service. Love the Pomegranate Martini! PS.....always save room for dessert - Pineapple Upside-down cake!!
Every time we're in the Sandusky area, a visit to Crush is a given. Terrific wine, delicious food, and really wonderful service. It never fails to disappoint. Highly recommended!
The only thing that was bothersome was how dark it was. I like a little more light. I did not say anything because other people may like that. Overall the meal was very good.
Made reservation in hopes of not being seated on bar-side of restaurant - still ended up sitting on bar-side. Rather long wait for food - too bad bread costs $4 extra.
I Love Crush and try to go there every time I am in Sandusky! Great food, great atmosphere, great service! I continue to drive 2 hours to visit and dine here as often as I can! Thanks for such a fun evening out each time!
It took almost 45 minutes to receive our dinners. We literally had 10 minutes to eat dinner before our show. It was so rushed everyone got sick from scarfing down their food :(
The food is very good. Menu is somewhat limited. No local Lake Erie fish on the menu. Great fries. Excellent service from bar and wait staff.
Outstanding Valentine's Day dinner. Great wine list and reasonably priced... knowledgeable staff to make recommendations. Creative, healthy dishes and the small plates allowed us to share and enjoy many options.
Crush is always our date night “go to” spot. The service is great. The food is amazing. The atmosphere is chill and casual. We have never been disappointed and we tell everyone that we love it. We don’t do chain restaurants anymore. We spend locally, and places like this make that easy and always worth it. I always stop back to tell the kitchen staff how amazing our meal was.
Sat by drapery at door. Very cold draft every time door opened(often). Speed up door closure at least.
New Years Eve dinner. Meals, atmosphere, wine selection were all wonderful. We had a little issue with our meals but it was taken care of promptly and the staff went above and beyond our expectation in handling the matter. Great job and looking forward to our next visit.
We enjoyed our visit on New Year’s Eve , food was very good, my husband still talking about the steak , me the French onion soup .
We will definitely return , well done !
We met some friends from Michigan at Crush last night. The place is warm and cozy, great for dinner, drinks, and conversation. I had the fruitti de mare, and it was delicious! They have a very complete wine list and our server John was wonderful. He was attentive but not intrusive. Overall, it was a very lovely evening out with friends. Highly recommended. I would definitely go back.
The food was outstanding! I had the Surf and Turf. The rest of the group had very positive remarks about how good the food was. The waitress was kind and very attentive. On a negative note, there was a customer at the bar that had several phone calls and had his phone on speaker. None of the staff asked him to turn it off.
Absolutely loved the setting and the menu. There was live music in the 'kitchen bar' side of the restaurant that was a little loud in the 'dinner' side of the restaurant so it wasn't easy to have a quiet conversation, but the music was good.
Will definitely be back....more items on the menu that I want to try!
Crush is our favorite go-to restaurant in Sandusky. Been going there often since it first opened. Food is ALWAYS GOOD! Our server was absolutely FANTASTIC! We even held our daughter's wedding rehearsal dinner there-Fantastic!
This was my 4th trip to Crush and it never disappoints! The menu is varied and delicious- competent service, nice ambiance! The mac n cheese and fettucini are among my faves- this time we had the margherita pizza as an app - good but nothing to write home about- I had the sirloin steak as an entree- very good and pineapple upside down cake with butterscotch ice cream for dessert- very tasty- overall, a good experience as always! One of the gems of Sandusky !
We went to Crush for my father-in-law's birthday. The food is incredible. It was the best filet mignon I have ever had. Everyone loved the food.
Always great at Crush or any of their family of restaurants. They are all high quality in food, service and atmosphere.
We were seated too close to the front door and had too much light from outside to enjoy the ambiance. The table top could have been a lit bigger.
Crush has a good variety of food and drinks. We typically order small plates and share. This time we also split the burger and it was particularly good.
Lovely drink selection and small plates with flavor that satisfy you! Entrees also available!
It's slipped a little bit. Still one of the best places in Sandusky. The menu used to have more
small plates and more variety. There seem to be fewer small plates and prices have crept up.
Wine selection is still very good.
If we hadn't been coming for several years (and hadn't noticed the changes) I would probably rate it higher
Friendly staff. Good service. Food& wine list were good as well.
We had salads and small plates for the main course, we felt that main course was brought to the table much to early. We did not have an opportunity to not finish our salads.
Had a wonderful dinner - service could have been a little better. Will definitely return.
We came there for my daughters 20th birthday We had a wonderful dinner and the best time ! Thank you!!
I made reservations through Open Table for dinner to celebrate my husband's birthday. It was noted in reservation. Nothing was said by hostess or server.service was lacking. She never came to ask how our meal was, never offered more water and dessert took more than 30 minutes to come. We had to send another server looking for ours. She made excuse that it was new person making desserts. Not our problem! It should have been comped. Other servers were more attentive. Believe me, we noticed.
My husband and I LOVED crush. Great service, fantastic drinks, beautiful ambiance. The only thing we think could be changed is to have a little more lighting as it was a tad too dark for our liking and to turn the music up just a tad. If it were 15% cheaper, we would come here ALL the time, but we cant afford to so only once in a while for us. Loved it.
There were a lot of people walking around downtown due to a local gathering in one of the local squares. This local foot traffic created a festival atmosphere. With this in mind, patrons should keep in mind that when they enter a restaurant it's time to settle down and use their inside grown up voices. That said avoiding yelling across some else's dinner table (while they are eating) that you don't know could be considered rude if not somewhat rowdy. Restaurant owners are not babysitters they are purveyors of food services. Customers are responsible for their own type of experience.
Always enjoy the experience here, good food and wine, congenial atmosphere lends itself to good conversation.
Great food and great service !
Everything we tried was delicious! The wine flights were so much fun also! We took a couple who travel frequently and eat at some gourmet restaurants and they were impressed with such a great place in Sandusky, Ohio! We will definitely be eating here again!
I got sick on their salmon, it was supposed to come out on wood plank, and it was not cooked enough or old!
