CRUSH is a full service restaurant focused on providing high quality food in an inviting and comfortable setting, with friendly and attentive service.
The bar menu offer wines by the glass, wine flights, an extensive wine bottle list, spirits & brews. An eclectic dinner menu features small plates, entrees such as fresh pastas, grilled super thin crust pizzas, steaks, chops and daily features, as well as sushi.
Centrally located in Downtown Sandusky a block from the water.
For reservations of parties larger than 6, or if you are unable to find a time that suits your desired time, please call us directly 419-502-9463 and we will do our best to accommodate you. Reservations are for tables only: the bar and the patio are first come, first seated. Reservations are for indoor dining... the Patio & Wine Garden are first come-first served. Reservations will be held for 15 minutes, after which your table will not be held or guaranteed. If running late please contact us directly.

    Loved this place. Really good food and nice ambiance. Service started off good but the busier it got the slower the service got. I’d still go back though. The shrimp was amazing! The salmon pasta was delicious. Can’t wait to come back.

    While our waitress was very attentive, the food was disappointing. My husband ordered the pork chop, and my daughter and I ordered small plates. We waited almost an hour for our food. Our waitress explained that since we wanted to have all of the food brought out at the same time, we believe that the pork chop was cooked first (since it would take longer to cook) and then sat being kept warm while the small plates were finished. The result was a very overbooked piece of meat. It was redone, but by then my husband was basically eating dinner by himself. The waitress apologized for the slow service and overcooked food. We enjoyed our first time at Crush, but this experience has put a damper on our enthusiasm to return soon.

    As usual, we had a great meal. Our server, Maddie, was amazing---very attentive and prompt from taking our orders to delivering our drinks and food. Crush has the best pizza in Sandusky (salume pizza) and the scallops sambuca are amazing. We love Crush and look forward to going there every boating season.

    Everything was Great! The service was great! The food was great! The Patio was great! However there is a no smoking sign on the patio asking customers not to snake and the person ikon the table in front of us starting smoking a Vap of some kind and the waiter or management did nothing to stop him. Because of personal issues i and my family can not be around smoke of any kind so maybe next time we will have to make sure the no smoking rule is in effect.

    We used to eat there a while ago when visiting Sandusky and it was very good. Tried it last year and they wanted to seat us outside and the table was dirty with bird stuff all over so we left. This time we waited for food a very long time, asked waitress status and she asked us if we wanted her to ask. We paid for our wine and left. Will never go back. It’s gone down hill…so sad

    Crush is the gem of Sandusky! We had an exquisite meal this evening! We started with the cheese plate and Carrot Miso Soup. Our entrees were both the Lobster Pot Pies! Fabulous!! My husband had a martini and I enjoyed a Rombauer Chardonnay. Our service was impeccable and the ambiance of sitting outside in the “alley” was so lovely! We cannot recommend Crush enough. They just do it right in our opinion!!

    There were four in our party and we all had different choices. Without exception, everything was delicious. Service was a bit slow and it wasn't busy while we were there. But really happy overall.

    We had a really nice evening at Crush. The food was tasty and the ambiance was great. Our server was very pleasant. The only negative was the service was a little slow. I think the server had too many tables to cover.

    All seven at our reserved table had a wonderful Crush Winebar experience. The service by Dan was equally as excellent as the tasty cuisine prepared by the chefs and Nick's bartender skills... Gotta rate this dinner with 5 ***** Stars !

    It's a really great place. Very nice flavors. The duck wings and the scallops stood out. Everything was prepared and cooked perfectly. The oysters were shucked nicely. The shrimp were perfect with a nice sauce. The sushi rice was clean and light. The only thing that just didn't work was the ricotta sauce on the duck confit pizza. It was good, the other flavors on it were really good, but the sauce was a little gritty. If I'm in the area again. I would definitely return.
