Crush - MGM Grand Ratings and Reviews
My husband and I took my parents to Vegas to celebrate our wedding anniversary with us and we chose Crush for dinner on Saturday night. From the moment we walked in we fell in love with the place. The dining room is very inviting, comfortable and has a great atmosphere. We sat in a corner booth and the service all evening was top notch, by every person that came to our table (and there were a lot). Our waiter Adrian led the charge and he had great support from the entire team. The food is just spectacular, everything we ordered was delicious (we shared quite a bit). We all agreed that this was probably one of the best if not THE best dinners we have had, and we eat out quite a bit. We definitely will be back and will recommend it to all that ask for a great place in Vegas! Thanks for making our celebration so special!
Food was beautiful some of the best we ate in Vegas. However our waiter was disinterested forgot to order our sides for our thanksgiving meal, didn’t ask if we required drinks and brought the check before we’d had chance to ask about puddings. We also saw and heard our waiter having a huge row through the glass doors with another colleague. He was a real let down to the company as the food was amazing and the other staff were lovely. He did ruin our experience and being from the UK our first ever thanksgiving meal.
It took about 45 minutes to get our food but others around us that arrived after we did got their food fast and left before we did. The shrimp risotto was great but the pasta tasted like it had way to much pepper to the point that you could only taste the pepper which is a shame since it seemed to have good flavor otherwise. Also the manager and one of the other servers seemed to stay in the corner of the bar talking to a friend most of the time we were there instead of interacting with customers but our server was constantly on the move helping customers.
Great food and good service. We were there late on a Thursday night and it was kind of dead. Can't speak to what it's like during a rush. Based on the shape of the room it seems like it could get loud but that's pretty typical for Vegas. We would definitely go back.
I seem to find myself back at Crush every time I am in Las Vegas, the food is delicious, the wait staff is stellar and the drinks are strong. Highly recommend the lobster mashed potatoes and the Alaskan halibut, although I have never had a menu item I didn't enjoy here!
What a cute place! It's cozy and can be romantic if that is what you're looking for.
I'm a Pescaterian and was pleased that they had a separate Special Diet menu with so many yummy selections. I had the Roasted Cauliflower and an Ahi appetizer which I enjoyed. Could not drink that night but the bar menu looked very appealing offering various beers, ciders Sangria and fun cocktails.
I would recommend and I can't wait to go back and indulge!
Really delicious food. Amazing options for people with food allergies. Everyone in my group had a different food allergy, so it was challenging to find anywhere in Vegas we could all eat. Crush was accommodating AND delicious. The only downside was that the service was sub par. I read other reviews complaining about the service so I wasn't totally surprised, but even knowing this, I was still disappointed. The restaurant wasn't busy - there were maybe 4 other tables and several waitresses working, so there was no reason for the service to be so bad. I would go back for the food, but I wish the service had been better.
We have eaten here several times. Their filet is very good. Other menu items are not as successful. On this occasion, heirloom tomatoes with burrata cheese failed to impress, primarily because they used heirloom "grape" tomatoes. Awkward presentation (slices would be the appropriate choice) and zero taste to the tomatoes.
I have always wondered why my husband likes to go here, because only once have we had really good service. On our most recent visit, our waiter was inexplicably c hanged early on, and the waiter we did have seemed always to be short of time and running off.
There are so many good restaurants in Vegas; time for us to move on.
I picked Crush for my Bachelorette dinner party, and I didn't know about the Bachelorette tasting menu. The tasting menu was perfect! The food was AMAZING and the atmosphere is really nice. It is more cozy and quieter than most of the other restaurants in the casino. We had a great time and I cannot say enough good things about this place.
The restaurant is located inside MGM Grand and has a Chic atmosphere and wonderfully attentive servers.
This used to be one my favorite places to eat when we visited Las Vegas. Our last visit a few years back the food was less than average and I was super disappointed. We visit Mgm Grand at least 5x a year and haven't been back due to the last experience. Fast forward to last weekend. We were attending a concert and needed a convenient dining option. Decided to give them one more chance, the restaurant is clean and service once again was excellent. However the food was horrible! The soup was watery and had little flavor. The steak was charred on outside and after ordering medium received it closer to rare. The shrimp was nothing out of the ordinary and not enjoyable.
It's disappointing that a place that used to have so much to offer now only has the atmosphere to offer and bad food to go along with it.
The best word to describe Crush is "confused." The decor seemed to be trying for a Restoration Hardware vibe but there were weird elements including beakers on the table in the hall. The hostesses all wore black dresses with crazy tights. The music was very loud given the paucity of people. It all detracted from the food which was pretty good.
We dined here post-theatre and it was exactly what we wanted. Low-key, inexpensive menu in a dark but cosy setting. Food was good but not outstanding. It's not a destination restaurant but definitely delivers a more than satisfying meal. I would go here if you don't want to hang around but want a decent enough plate to fill you up. Probably better for groups in my opinion given the live sports on the TV. It wasn't rowdy but certainly not an intimate setting. Casual dining that doesn't break the bank.
Great option for groups with mixed food requirements (some vegetarians some not, etc.) at a range of price points. Only suggestion would be for wait staff to pro-actively offer the special dietary requirements menu; we had to ask about it.
Lobster pot pie was Ok ... a couple small pieces of lobster with vegies in a soup rather than a gravy or sauce. Salmon was cooked to a perfect mid-rare, but lacked seasoning compared to the mushroom and sauce and was bland, although that could be caused by the used of farmed salmon rather than wild caught. The flavor of the cream sauce in the creamed corn was good but the corn tasted old. Service was so-so. At these prices, I expected much more.
