Crudo Wood Fired Taverna
Friday and Saturday from 11:00 am to 11:00 pm
Closed on Sundays
The manager was ver accommodating and sat our group of 6 at a table that was quieter so we could talk. The staff were very friendly and the gnocchi was amazing. I will be back!
Wonderful food! Have lived here for 6 years and this is my favorite place!❤️❤️
We decided to try Crudo after maybe two years since last time. Service was great, very friendly and professional. No pressure to order quickly or most expensive items. Place is small but cozy. Noise level is adequate for nice conversation. Good variety of options and specials to choose from. Becca was great, giving us time but still attentive. Overall it was a great experience.
Been several times and Crudo's does not disappoint. It is our Go To restaurant for celebrations. Always a great time with amazing food.
Seems like cooks changed. Food not as good. Ambiance changed too, not as good.
Quickly becoming one of our favorites. The food and service are always terrific. Ivan runs a great restaurant.
This was my second visit to Crudo Wood Fired Taverna. We brought a group here for a birthday celebration and I liked it so much that I brought another friend for a birthday celebration. The food and service are excellent. The only drawback is that it is noisy and it is not conducive to quiet conversation. Will return!
As always it was amazing! We love this place!
Pleasant surprise! We all enjoyed it! Will definitely return.
It was crowded by 5:45pm on Friday night. The wine menu yielded a good, oaky Cabernet from Argentina, barrel aged in French oak. The veal meatballs with arugula and mashed potatoes were fabulous! The cedar plank salmon with brussels sprouts and mashed potatoes with baby carrots, and the spinach salad with strawberries and pears were quite good. We really enjoyed the food and drink but the tables are quite close together and it is not a quiet place for couples to converse during the main dinner hour(s). The proximity of seating reminds me of New York City. I would love to eat at Crudo Taverna with a group. But The DESSERT - blueberry bread pudding dusted with cinnamon - words fail to describe what a delectable treat it is!!!
Always get the best service when we dine at Crudo. As always, thanks for making the evening special.
Love this place! So cute and cozy, great food, blood orange martini is my fav 😍
The food here is outstanding. And so many options to try. Have to go back and try more. The wine list is great, but needs to catch up with the year of the bottles. Also a bit pricier than other wine lists.
We went to Crudo's this past Friday with four other neighbors/friends. it was the first time the others had been to Crudo. They really enjoyed it and were pleasantly surprised. They didn't realize it was so nice. The menu is diverse and everything we had was good and enjoyable. Our table of six ordered seafood, steak, and chicken dishes. The bar is well stocked and happy Hour drink specials are a nice option. The house red is a Montepulciano that is pretty good for 45 per glass during HH. Crudo remains one of favorite , nice dinner options in Frisco.
1st time visitor after driving past for many years.
We were very pleasantly surprise by the food quality.
The service was top notch by Suzanne who was very familiar with the menu as well as specials off the menu.
Enjoyed a mussels appetizer and stuffed shrimp for the main course. My wife had a dinner special of snapper & topped with a petite lobster. It was a very relaxed atmosphere on a Sat night and we did not feel rushed at all even though the restaurant was filling up.
We will be back and we understand that there is music on Tues - Thursday
My only regret was that I should have asked about the pricing of the special since I thought that it was priced well above the standard menu items. My mistake but it was an enjoyable meal & evening
Excellent food. Great service, Tight quarters and pretty noisy.
Used to go to eat at Crudo in Frisco quite often with so many new places opening, we hadn't been in a couple of years. Had friends visiting and decided to give Crudo a try again. And they didn't disappoint! The food was just as good as we remembered and the drink/wine list was very good. Service was excellent and we had an enjoyable meal and evening. Noise level is a bit loud but it is a smaller, quiant restaurant. Would highly recommend it for an excellent meal in Frisco!
Crudo's has great food and the service is wonderful!
Very loud in restaurant but everything else eas excellent
As always, great food coupled with very good service. It’s a favorite neighborhood spot and every friend we’ve taken to Crudo has returned.
We have been to Crudo a few times over the years but it’s probably been 2 years since our last visit.
We made a reservation but the table they gave us had to be the worst table in the restaurant.
Our waiter was good but we had a problem with my meal.
My salmon was cooked on the edges and raw inside.
I had to send it back and they cooked it and returned it in about 15 minutes.
It was disappointing that they didn’t do anything to try to make it right...comping the meal or buying a drink or offering a dessert or just about anything would have been appreciated. We didn’t even hear from a manager or anyone else to make it right.
It’s been awhile since we’ve been and probably will be awhile before we will give them another chance.
Amazing experience, the manager Ivan was really friendly and took care of us, I recommend this place!
Always a good meal with good service. Carlos was knowledgeable and friendly - attentive without being intrusive.
Very nice romantic dinner.
Great food, drinks and service!
The food was delicious. The salmon flat bread was amazing. Service was good. We had reservations at 8 pm for 7 , but due to the small size of the restaurant we didn’t get seated until 8:40pm. The hostess was very nice and apologetic about the wait. It was well worth the wait! Next time will make an earlier reservation!
Really liked the pepperoni pizza. Had salad served on pizza wooden board and that was just too big for table. Tempature in restaurant was very warm. Attentive service and would recommend.
We met our son and daughter in law for dinner. The food and service are excellent. Ivan, the Manager, pays close attention to all the guests. I highly recommend a quick dinner with live music.
Excellent food and service. Live music several days a week gives Crudo an extra energy. We’ve never had a bad meal there!
The food was great and the service was even better!
Consistently great food and service. Chairs are rather basic and uncomfortable.
Great Mother’s Day Dinner
Our waiter was great. The food tasted fantastic. Our experience: horrible.
I ordered the stuffed shrimp. On the menu it said it was stuffed with mascarpone risotto, shaved asparagus and roasted peppers. Delicious, right? Right. Problem: it is also stuffed with Blue Crab and they haven’t bothered to print new menus. Bigger problem: I’m very allergic to crab and took a big bite not realizing it.
I asked the waiter if it had crab and he confirmed but said they hadn’t updated the menu. He took my plate and brought me the menu to pick something else. The manager stopped by and asked if I was ok. I took a couple Zyrtec and for the most part didn’t have too bad of a reaction.
The replacement meal took about 15 minutes. My original meal was ~$24 and the new meal was ~$34 (steak, mashed potatoes and asparagus). When the check came they had comped the dessert we ordered but charged me for the higher priced menu item. I did not make a scene or even request to have something comped. I would not have expected to pay for the more expensive item given that the menu did not have a main ingredient listed that I was allergic to.
The biggest issue was the assist manager that came over when I asked the waiter why I was charged for the higher priced item. He did comp my menu item totally but then proceeded to say how it wouldn’t have happened if he was my waiter because he would have restated all the ingredients. He went further to say that I should always tell all waitstaff all my allergies. I have lived my whole life with food allergies. All of which are controlled by Benadryl or Zyrtec as long as I don’t ingest large quantities. They’ve never been so bad that I worry about cross contamination so I simply don’t order food with items I am allergic to in them. I told the manager that they need to reprint their menus if they change the items. He got mad and said I wasn’t listening and stormed off. I’ll never return. Update your menu, it might cost someone their life.
I have eaten at Crodo’s on several occasions and the food and service is very good.
Food is excellent. Service was good but nothing exceptional. Mouse level is fairly load.
This is one of my favorites for dinner, but I decided to give it a try for lunch. The food and service were good at over the lunch hour. The atmosphere and noise level at lunch were very conducive for a quick enjoyable business meal.
Nice place! Food was good but some of the items on our plates were very salty. The polenta on my plate was very salty and I did not eat it and that was my only side dish. My sister’s shrimp had good flavor but again they over did the salt but the linguine was so delicious.
We took my Sister in Law to Crudo for her birthday. The food, the service, the drinks were all perfect. My steak was perfectly cooked, my wife's Chicken was well seasoned and tasted great, my SIL's Halibut was great and perfectly cooked. We had our 7 year old with, and they treated him like he was adult and made him feel great (many restaurants ignore kids). We will be back!
