Crudo Wood Fired Taverna
Friday and Saturday from 11:00 am to 11:00 pm
Closed on Sundays
Service was excellent and food was very good
Amazing food and experience as always! I highly recommend the red fish.
Long time customer here. Something must have happened to their manager as the staff had no direction. Only two people waiting tables. We asked our waitress where the others were and she said they didn’t show up. One waitress working the other tables was clearly angry. I think we are going to skip this restaurant for a while.
I have been to Crudo once and that was in 2014 (also for lunch). Don’t have any excuse as to why I haven’t been here in 4 years, since the food was (and still is) absolutely on point! That was the case yesterday as well. First came the bread topped with feta and olives. Amazing!
Rebecca was our server and made some delicious recommendations. Her infectious energy and friendly demeanor made us feel welcome. She checked on us throughout our meal and answered any questions we had about the menu items. She is an asset to your team! Left a generous tip because we felt the service and food was top notch. You can count on us returning for another meal in the future!
We ordered one cocktail each -
•The Raven (with vodka, and infused with cucumber, ginger liqueur, and ginger beer). SO good!
•The Lourdes Margarita (infused with Chile de Arbol) Also good!
My mom and I started off with the Caprese Tower - followed by the split of a phenomenal Margherita Pizza, and a Limoncello Cake for dessert. Even the tea selections were delectable. I got the Açaí Berry and mom got the Mango Passionfruit. Food and drinks all delicious, reasonably priced, portioned, and served by friendly people in a classy atmosphere. Next time, we will have to try out Happy Hour or possibly have dinner here!
This has always been a good consistent restaurant with fantastic service. I've been a customer of Crudo since they opened but have moved out of the area and always make time to meet friends there. This past visit was not to their standards. Had to ask for drinks 2 times after waiting for 20 minutes. Brought wrong drink twice. Food was good but then after waiting for 15-20 minutes for dessert we just finally gave up. We're only in the area 4 times a year to visit friends and I felt we lost an entire evening.
I've been here twice now, and love it. Service both times were superb. Food, was wonderful! I'll be back with more friends
Dinner and drinks fabulous as always
We would go back just to hear Patrick play guitar! He's incredible. The Margherita Pizza is amazing too! The staff is so warm and friendly.
Excellent food always consistent. Service is always good!
First time visit and it was simply amazing. I made the reservation for my friend birthday. I was beautifully surprised with the delicious food and wine choices.
Great food and great service. Never disappoints.
Great as always
Great all around!
Best food I’ve ever had.
Loved the Monday night music group. Good jazz background music but still able to visit with our friends. The food was outstanding and was service was exceptional. Our favorite neighborhood restaurant.
I am never disappointed when dining at Crudo. The food is always superb. Creative specials, friendly staff and cozy spot for a dinner date.
Always excellent! Thank you. I had the wood grilled Salmon with potatoes and sprouts. Always cooked to perfection. LOVE The Prisoner wine, which we have by the bottle. And, tried the Red Snapper without the blackened seasoning, with grilled shrimp on top. It was a keeper. Busy night with the guitarist - who is fantastic. So, service was a little slower than usual. But, always our favorite for dinner in Frisco.
The manager was ver accommodating and sat our group of 6 at a table that was quieter so we could talk. The staff were very friendly and the gnocchi was amazing. I will be back!
Wonderful food! Have lived here for 6 years and this is my favorite place!❤️❤️
We decided to try Crudo after maybe two years since last time. Service was great, very friendly and professional. No pressure to order quickly or most expensive items. Place is small but cozy. Noise level is adequate for nice conversation. Good variety of options and specials to choose from. Becca was great, giving us time but still attentive. Overall it was a great experience.
Been several times and Crudo's does not disappoint. It is our Go To restaurant for celebrations. Always a great time with amazing food.
Seems like cooks changed. Food not as good. Ambiance changed too, not as good.
Quickly becoming one of our favorites. The food and service are always terrific. Ivan runs a great restaurant.
This was my second visit to Crudo Wood Fired Taverna. We brought a group here for a birthday celebration and I liked it so much that I brought another friend for a birthday celebration. The food and service are excellent. The only drawback is that it is noisy and it is not conducive to quiet conversation. Will return!
As always it was amazing! We love this place!
Pleasant surprise! We all enjoyed it! Will definitely return.
It was crowded by 5:45pm on Friday night. The wine menu yielded a good, oaky Cabernet from Argentina, barrel aged in French oak. The veal meatballs with arugula and mashed potatoes were fabulous! The cedar plank salmon with brussels sprouts and mashed potatoes with baby carrots, and the spinach salad with strawberries and pears were quite good. We really enjoyed the food and drink but the tables are quite close together and it is not a quiet place for couples to converse during the main dinner hour(s). The proximity of seating reminds me of New York City. I would love to eat at Crudo Taverna with a group. But The DESSERT - blueberry bread pudding dusted with cinnamon - words fail to describe what a delectable treat it is!!!
Always get the best service when we dine at Crudo. As always, thanks for making the evening special.
Love this place! So cute and cozy, great food, blood orange martini is my fav 😍
The food here is outstanding. And so many options to try. Have to go back and try more. The wine list is great, but needs to catch up with the year of the bottles. Also a bit pricier than other wine lists.
We went to Crudo's this past Friday with four other neighbors/friends. it was the first time the others had been to Crudo. They really enjoyed it and were pleasantly surprised. They didn't realize it was so nice. The menu is diverse and everything we had was good and enjoyable. Our table of six ordered seafood, steak, and chicken dishes. The bar is well stocked and happy Hour drink specials are a nice option. The house red is a Montepulciano that is pretty good for 45 per glass during HH. Crudo remains one of favorite , nice dinner options in Frisco.
1st time visitor after driving past for many years.
We were very pleasantly surprise by the food quality.
The service was top notch by Suzanne who was very familiar with the menu as well as specials off the menu.
Enjoyed a mussels appetizer and stuffed shrimp for the main course. My wife had a dinner special of snapper & topped with a petite lobster. It was a very relaxed atmosphere on a Sat night and we did not feel rushed at all even though the restaurant was filling up.
We will be back and we understand that there is music on Tues - Thursday
My only regret was that I should have asked about the pricing of the special since I thought that it was priced well above the standard menu items. My mistake but it was an enjoyable meal & evening
Excellent food. Great service, Tight quarters and pretty noisy.
Used to go to eat at Crudo in Frisco quite often with so many new places opening, we hadn't been in a couple of years. Had friends visiting and decided to give Crudo a try again. And they didn't disappoint! The food was just as good as we remembered and the drink/wine list was very good. Service was excellent and we had an enjoyable meal and evening. Noise level is a bit loud but it is a smaller, quiant restaurant. Would highly recommend it for an excellent meal in Frisco!
Crudo's has great food and the service is wonderful!
Very loud in restaurant but everything else eas excellent
As always, great food coupled with very good service. It’s a favorite neighborhood spot and every friend we’ve taken to Crudo has returned.
We have been to Crudo a few times over the years but it’s probably been 2 years since our last visit.
We made a reservation but the table they gave us had to be the worst table in the restaurant.
Our waiter was good but we had a problem with my meal.
My salmon was cooked on the edges and raw inside.
I had to send it back and they cooked it and returned it in about 15 minutes.
It was disappointing that they didn’t do anything to try to make it right...comping the meal or buying a drink or offering a dessert or just about anything would have been appreciated. We didn’t even hear from a manager or anyone else to make it right.
It’s been awhile since we’ve been and probably will be awhile before we will give them another chance.
Amazing experience, the manager Ivan was really friendly and took care of us, I recommend this place!
Always a good meal with good service. Carlos was knowledgeable and friendly - attentive without being intrusive.
Very nice romantic dinner.
