Unfortunately, CRs was off their game tonight which was unusual from our past experience. We drive nearly 100 miles from Newport RI to spend the night in Hampton to go to CRs for dinner. Ribs appetizer was awful- meat was rubbery and hard to chew much less get off the bone. It seemed as if they had not slow cooked them properly. The Mgr saw that we had not touched them much and offered to remove them from the bill. We told her not to do so and hoped that our entrees would make up for the miss. I ordered Steak Frites Medium- the meat was difficult to cut and there was too much grizzle to chew it properly. I hid all but 2 slices under the arugula that was on my plate so I wouldn’t be asked why I didn’t eat it. My husbands seafood pasta with squid ink fettuccine was not that great, but my husband salvaged the seafood to satisfy his hunger. I was thankful for the bread and a cup of chowder that I had as an appetizer. The ice cream was delicious. We will not be going out of our way anytime soon to eat at CRs.

CR's is a favorite of ours. Last night was really enjoyable, beginning with Autumn as our waitress. She focuses on her guests and does all that she can to ensure everyone has a pleasant dining experience. The food was delicious - appetizers (pork belly dish and calamari), salads (caesar and spinach), Soups (eggplant and chowder), main course (swordfish piccata) and desserts (vanilla bourbon creme Brulé' and vanilla bread pudding). Everyone enjoyed their meals, thoroughly! Thanks for yet another great evening.
