We had a truly wonderful anniversary dinner! Lisa R was a phenomenal server who knew our every need/want! We got the table by the fireplace as requested and had the best time. Food was exceptional as always.

This was our second time at CR’s & unfortunately I would not rush back there any time soon. The watermelon feta salad had bad watermelon which had a “fizzy, tingling” feeling in mouth which means it was bad. Rib appetizer was good but cold. Shrimp was very good. French fries came after meal, cold on top. My husband’s pork chop was loaded with too much sauce. Steak frites had way too much pesto like which I think was supposed to be chimichurri. I shared a tenderloin with my daughter & it was cold. Ceaser salad was blah. Waitress was nice. Not sure what happened but the food was not as good as the first visit.

Unfortunately, CRs was off their game tonight which was unusual from our past experience. We drive nearly 100 miles from Newport RI to spend the night in Hampton to go to CRs for dinner. Ribs appetizer was awful- meat was rubbery and hard to chew much less get off the bone. It seemed as if they had not slow cooked them properly. The Mgr saw that we had not touched them much and offered to remove them from the bill. We told her not to do so and hoped that our entrees would make up for the miss. I ordered Steak Frites Medium- the meat was difficult to cut and there was too much grizzle to chew it properly. I hid all but 2 slices under the arugula that was on my plate so I wouldn’t be asked why I didn’t eat it. My husbands seafood pasta with squid ink fettuccine was not that great, but my husband salvaged the seafood to satisfy his hunger. I was thankful for the bread and a cup of chowder that I had as an appetizer. The ice cream was delicious. We will not be going out of our way anytime soon to eat at CRs.

From the time we arrived until we left, everything was excellent. Our server, Alita was friendly, attentive and professional..as was the whole staff

Very wonderful ! I had my granddaughter with us and the staff were very loving towards her. Food was very top drawer! Love CR’s.
