We took a couple of our friends out for date night and had a wonderful time. Our server, Logan, was amazing and helpful. Everyone enjoyed their drinks and the food was spectacular. Every time we have been here, the staff at the Crow's Nest has made us feel special.

Fine dining at its best. Excellent tasting cuisine. Great service and food presentation. Fantastic wine list. Penthouse views. Not cheap, but reasonable prices. Very classy.

Service was pretty good, but not excellent, forgetting to pour wine, check back on food. Entrees were underwhelming and the duck was cold. We needed a knife for the dessert but no one was around to ask. We definitely expected better. Highlight: Wine steward was friendly and knowledgeable about the extensive wine list.

The view is breathtaking! The food was very good. Service was good but could have been better if server had less tables. Value is only fair. Portions and sides included were for the most part small compared to price of entree. We were very dissapointed that our Anniversary went unnoticed and not acknowledged by our server. I asked for a special evening when the reservation was made. That did not happen. We had an ordinary dining experience with a great view. Nothing special; very pedestrian. Not enough to go back.

I cannot day enough good things about our experience! We had Chelsea as our waitress and she went above and beyond to make our night special. It was our 4 year anniversary as well as our baby gender reveal. Chelsea put together something very special and memorable for us. We will never forget it! The food was great, the view was amazing, and the staff was friendly, kind, and professional.

Impeccable service. The food is good but perhaps not quite worth the $. The view is to die for—fantastic. Altogether, AK dining at its finest.

Outstanding. From the moment we arrived everything was spectacular. We chose a cozy table by the window overlooking the bay, the hostess offered us cocktail and wine lists and our server was there within a couple of minutes. He gave great recommendations to what would compliment our meal. He was friendly and personable. The food was absolutely incredible. The backwait offered warm Parmesan rolls and whipped butter and set us up for our upcoming dishes. We split the charcuterie board and Caesar salad both of which were delicious. I had the duck and he had the Alaskan boulliabase. The duck was by far one of the best meals I’ve ever ever had. Cooked to absolute perfection with just the right amount of crispness. The mushrooms, peas and gnocchi perfrctly eccentuated the meal. Our server recommended a wonderful Pinot noir to compliment. The boulliabase was amazing as well, hefty amount of scallops, halibut and king crab. They were out of salmon. The saffron broth was wonderful and again the server recommended a great Chardonnay to compliment. I don’t know how but we saved room for the chocolate cake which again was delicious! Highly recommended for anyone thinking about going. Pricey, but well worth it. Thank you for an amazing experience! We will be back.

This was a fantastic place to celebrate our anniversary. The food was great, and service was second to none. What I really can’t get out of my head, though, is the fried olives! They were so delicious and creative, with a lovely presentation.

No one was available to take our coats and show us to our table so we located our party we were meeting on our own in the dining room.

We did not receive our meals until late because according to the server a large group had come. Visible to me were 6 guests visible to us, but according to one of the members of our party, a group had gone into another area. Message here is, if one wants service, go with a large group.

Best steak we've had in AK in a long time. Always nice, but no sure why we were seated next to the only other patrons at our early dining hour... it was so quiet it seemed we were sharing each others conversation.

Only disappointment was that when i booked reservations 2 weeks early i requested seat by window with view of fireworks as we were celebrating my husbands 50th Birthday. When we arrived we were seated on opposite side of restaurant with view of inlet instead of fireworks.
Food was amazing as was the service

Our party of 7 went for a special family dinner, the youngest child being 10. They put us at a table in a quiet corner with an excellent view. The waitress was welcoming and attentive but not obtrusive. The food was delicious. You need to ask about portion size of the entrees since they vary a lot.

It was my birthday dinner, the atmosphere is wonderful, a beautiful sunset for the evening I called ahead and asked if they had tenderloin steaks on the menu , And said they did not they did however indicated they had New York steaks as well as a prime rib ribeye steak, we love a good steak , So we ordered the ribeye , Upon receiving our meals both my wife and my own steak cooked well, but full of marbling and gristle , To the point my wife could not eat her steak, I'm not one to make a scene, and in all my years eating out at restaurants I am now prompted to leave this review, I called the following day to inform management about our experience my phone call was not received well. I was told the manager would call us back his name is Tom Laurent to this day still haven't had a call back

The Crow's Nest continues to be one of the best restaurants in Anchorage -- and there are many great ones here. The menu items are creative, and the portions are just right. For the vegans in our group, there was just one option, but the vegetarians enjoyed several fish/shellfish choices. There's an amazing wine selection by the bottle and a respectable wine-by-the-glass selection. We have dined there before, and we'll surely return.
