Was a good dinner, good service
The food was beautifully delicious. I would definitely visit again. Walking distance to the Space Needle and MoPOP!
Excellent food, as always. But 45 minutes to get the chicken was ridiculous. I know it takes a bit longer, I've had it before. But waited far too long and never heard a word from the server.
The food and service were spectacular! The lasagne was huge, the halibut with risotto was amazing, and the desserts are not to be missed. We shared 3 and nearly died they were so good.
Love this restaurant - neighborhood gem. Truly one of the best in Seattle - under the radar! Came back two Saturdays in a row! I’m sold - I’ll be back very soon.
Not our best visit to Crow. Have been there many times before as we go every time we see a show at nearby McCaw Hall. Service (as always) was excellent but two things were different. One was the value. I checked my past recollections and found that in the past we had about the same thing; split an appetizer, two entrées, two cocktails, two glasses of wine and a split dessert. That came to $160 with tip. Never spend more than $110 before. Probably because my bride had the market price fish (a halibut that she loved) but we weren't told it was in excess of $40. Be aware.
My entrée was the worst I have had at Crow (in more than 10 visits). The lamb and pork ragu on bucatini was beyond dry. It was like getting a bowl of pasta with meat on the top. No sauce, just meat. Overcooked and dry. Hopefully this was an aberration. We will give them one more try because my bride's halibut was so good as were the cocktails.
What a wonderful evening-we had a great meal and excellent service. Lots of fun!
Lamb and Pork ragu was amazing. Extremely savory and satisfying.
Excellent service and friendly staff
Striking visuals and feel. Bishop hat chandeliers, pew seating, kitchen alter. Church. Cocktails. Gnocchi. Lasagne. Deezerts!
Great tight little menu. In an increasingly expensive city, Crow offers one of the best combinations of quality food and true-craft beverage in Seattle.
The location works for groups coming all directions. Parking is on the street, within a half block and free of charge.
The room seems to be best for seating groups of four and under. There is limited seating at the open kitchen and the bar
Crow cocktails are created with attention to detail. The classics are built to win over newbies and please the experienced classic cocktail consumer. Crow's wine list had something for everyone and the bottle prices are very reasonable.
Those with diet concerns will have varying levels of success in finding what contents certain dishes contain depending on the server. This could be better managed.
Service & food are great !
Great food and a show. Sat at the bar and watched all the great food prepared and served to all the other tables too. Nice conversation with the Chef's as well.
Unpretentious yet groovy vibe and decor.
REALLY good food-had the butter lettuce/pear/walnut/blue cheese salad and the lasagna and both were excellent!
Too full to even think about dessert.
Good wine list.
I am always looking for great local places to dine at so after reading the reviews, I made a reservation for this place for a meal after an entire day of sightseeing. I really liked the atmosphere as the place is located in an old building which has been renovated to house the restaurant. It has a dark, almost industrial feel to it which I loved. I will say that on the weekends you should make a reservation as it does get quite busy. After being seated I ordered the Pan Seared chicken. It was brought out and it was absolutely perfect! The prosciutto wrapped around it was nice and crispy and provided an extra bit of seasoning to the superbly cooked chicken. The seasonal vegetable that it came with which was spinach and while I am not a fan I took a few bites and it wasn't bad. My only complaint was that my server disappeared and I didn't get a refill till she came to give me my check and I had to ask. Other than, it was a great dining experience and I certainly would go back.
Dinner with my daughter before the ballet. We could barely have a conversation, though we were seated at a small table. My ears actually rang for a while after leaving. The food is good but a very limited menu. The server did not bring our bread until we asked for it then I wished I had not bothered-so crusty and hard to chew.
Have always had a great experience and amazing food here and it is our go to dining choice before the ballet.
I enjoyed a nice meal with my daughter. We shared a bottle of wine. There is a noise level but we were able to carry on a conversation with no problem and never felt rushed.
Tasty food, good sized portions. The lasagne is "melt in your mouth" fresh, the tomato soup seemed to have a bit of curry for spice. Great place to eat before a performance at Seattle Center--reservations needed though as this is a popular spot for a great meal.
Crow is a great place to go for dinner before an opera performance. The food never disappoints and the menu is always changing which makes it interesting.
What a nice discovery! In a slightly out of the way spot near Seattle Center is this small, but exceptional restaurant we enjoyed immensely. Everything we had on this short, changeable menu was superb, full of flavor and well-thought-out. And the creative cocktails were excellent. We’ll be back!
Very good but a bit noisy.
Love this hidden gem!
Too loud too slow
We love this spot - we sat at the Chef's table in the back of the restaurant and enjoyed watching all the staging and preparation start-to-finish. Everything looks amazing - always hard to choose! Our meals were delicious, heathy and beautifully presented. This is our go-to spot when we have an event at the Seattle Center!
Crow is great, the food is constantly good, but this evening the service was slow and impersonal, and it was cold sitting by the entry door. But we'll be go back!
Been dining here for years and never had a meal that disappointed. Love to sit at the chef's table and watch the food being prepared. Crow is a gem that keeps on sparkling....
Although the room is a little worn/tired, the place is still cozy and the service excellent. They offer 25 bottles of wine for $25, and have some nice selections. The roasted chicken is still to die for (that juicy sauce!) and the chopped salad was delicious, fresh, and full of goodies.
This is a neighborhood spot you could visit on a regular basis.
I love Crow but will not come back if I am given a table like we had this time. It was pulled out into the aisle to accommodate a heater, was near the door so it was cold despite the heater and was worse than being stuck next to the kitchen.
Consistently delicious for years. Always a pleasure to return & get what you expect.
Opera, great experience a little surprised by health department rating “Good”. That is sad. I know from pat experience that a kitchen is where diners do not wish to see.
Service was a bit off. Asked to be moved to a table away from the door, it was chilly, was told there where no tables. Seated another couple or two after us in those spots. Food was tasty but a bit slow and in the end they’re signature lasagna came a bit cold and undercooked
My date and I shared the meats and cheeses plates. Just the right amount of attention from our server. No pressure to leave or hurry. I definitely recommend dining here. We will be back for a full meal soon.
Fabulous............we eat here often before attending the opera, ballet or The Rep. Food is always excellent and the service outstanding.
Sat at the chef’s counter. Throughly enjoyed our pre-theatre dinner. Staff were friendly and owner was attentive to diners. Food was great!
One of the best in Seattle. Never disappoints. Lasagna is alway excellent! Sunchoke soup was superb. We try to go at least once a month!
This is a great restaurant for fine food, superb service and much fun. We eat here often for birthdays, anniversaries and other special occasions. The lasagna is world class, the pork chop so tender and delicious; we also love the smashed potato and the tasty green beans. The Crow can be rather expensive but you receive an excellent meal and great service. When compared to other quality Seattle restaurants, it is excellent value. It can be quite noisy but that is part of the ambiance. Go there and enjoy the restaurant yourself!
Really lovely time! Food was delicious, and the service was attentive without being smothering or harassing. My only complaint was the table layout. They have three tables right by the front door, all of which are fairly close together - they actually tried to seat three different parties at the table next to us, and the first two requested a different table. Sitting that close to another party is a bit awkward, and you got hit with a blast of cold air every time the front door opened. Other than that, everything was perfect! They have a 25-for-20 deal on wine bottles Sunday (and Monday?) that is totally worth taking advantage of!
I brought my family here before a show at McCaw. While a bit noisy for my older parents, the rest of us didn't mind the noise level. The handcrafted cocktails were creative and delicious, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal. Our server was very sweet and helped ensure we got to our show on time. We will definitely be back! :)
