They didn't seem to know what I was talking about when I said I had an Open Table Reservation but as always the food helped me forget about the confusion.

We a an incredible meal that the whole family loved at the Crosstown. My wife order the lobster ravioli in a vodka sauce, I had the grilled swordfish with garlic mash and asparagus, the kids ordered a build ur own burger ( u actually pick what u want ur own custom burger) and a roma wrap. Portions were huge and there was plenty left overs to take home. Then came desert red velvet cake , tiramisu, toasted almond and a brownie sundae. There deserts were amazing.

The food was really good, the portion sizes for the appetizers left something to be desired. Other than that... I'd go back :)!

I really enjoyed eating at the crosstown, it was one of the best dining experiences ever. The food , staff, service was outstanding, the menu was the biggest I have ever seen before. This hands down the best diner in new york. They even won the best burger competition by the daily news they must of had at least 30 different burgers on the menu, I picked bronx burger which was topped with there very own homemade honey mustard, bacon and cheese and my partner had the chicken madeira over there signature garlic mash potatoes

I was suprised to find this place on opentable, thought it was just a diner. Boy was I shocked after reviewing there menu. Any dish you can think of is served . I had there famous porterhouse steak that came with two stuffed clams and pasta and even a salad to start off with. The steak was juicy and to die for, who would of expected a diner to serve such a great steak. My wife was in the mood for breakfast so she ordered the red velvet pancakes, who can ever think of that one. Leave it up to crosstown to think up of a dish like that .They had beyond generous portions , and a cheesecake like no other.

First, i was very pleased with the warm greeting my friends and i received at Crosstown. We've been to many places and often times u get a smug attitude while being greeted and seated, so thats a MAJOR plus!
Service was prompt and took our drink and appetizer order about 2-3mins after we sat which is always appreacited. Server was very polite and knew his menu when we asked questions.
Onto the FOOD. Def surprised at the quality of the food. Food was on on much higher level than ur typical diner. Appetizer's were crunchy....steak was cooked just how we requested.....veggies were perfectly prepared.....burgers were juicy and tasy as can be. Thats about all we had and can fit....OH.....desserts.....AMAZING!!!! GOTTA go to Crosstown, enjoy.
