We received a gift card for our wedding to go to Crossroads, since my "new" husband is a vegetarian. We went for an early Sunday brunch and thoroughly enjoyed it. The area is hopping and there was a farmers market a couple of streets away so we walked around a bit. Delicious cuisine, server was most helpful, and ambiance very comfortable. We will definitely go back and bring friends with us!
We had big expectations but we were disappointed. The service was stuck up and we felt unwelcomed. The food was partly good, partly average. Also, the portions of some of the small plates are a joke. My girlfriend’s dish (scaloppini parmesan) was bland and nothing special, mine (lentil tempeh) was good. All in all, we had the feeling that both food and service are not good enough for the price. Not worth it.
This was our first time visiting Crossroads. Our son chose to celebrate his birthday at Crossroads because he heard it is one of the highest rated vegan restaurants around. We went for Saturday brunch and were thoroughly pleased. The food was delicious and the service was great. We were pleasantly surprised by the reasonable prices. I highly recommend the chicken and waffles. We live in Yorba Linda, but it was definitely worth the drive. We’ll be back! Thanks!
Saturday brunch is always perfect. Relaxing and delicious.
Thank you SO much.
Very nice place. Such a treat to have such great vegan faire. One of us was a die-hard meat-eater and was pleasantly surprised. That’s always fun.
A beautiful, laid-back fine dining experience with outstanding vegan food.
The truffle potatoes & grilled Asparagus were out of this world.
We love coming here today was the first for lunch and it didn’t disappoint always delish! Vegan Love Forever 🍽💕
I made this reservation and called day of to confirm requesting that it was a birthday and that we would like to be seated in a booth section— both of which they acknowledged wouldn’t be a problem when I called. Then, neither were acknowledged when we arrived (we were sat at a wobbly table in the very back of the restaurant nowhere near the booths) and it was very uncomfortable not knowing if I needed to say something about the birthday or not. I ended up having to request a candle at the end in front of the birthday girl which ruined the surprise. Overall I would not go here for a special evening. They don’t care enough to make it special - which is ironic because half the restaurant was fairly empty. I am disappointed in my experience especially for the price.
They need to put bread on the table . Food was fine but nothing special
Creative, delcious, and visualy appealing small plates with atmosphere and style to match. Friendly, professional and attentive staff. A pleasant dining experience for anyone and everyone.
Great vegan food, beyond burger was amazing. Even my non vegan husband was a fan.
My favorite restaurant! It gets better every time we go!
My favorite vegan restaurant! Best lasagna ever! Love love love it!!
My daughter treated me for Mother’s Day dinner, as I’m a vegetarian, the cuisine was delightful, fresh and interesting.
Loved the atmosphere, our server Michael was awesome!
I was pleased that I was seated right away after I got to the restaurant 15 minutes early for my reservation. The staff was very friendly. Food was delicious. I took my mom here for Mother's Day and she was so excited. We got the lentil flatbread (10/10 recommend), spicy meatball pizza (8/10 recommend, there was a lot of meatball and not spicy at all), roasted thumb carrots (10/10 recommend), and the fettuccine carbonara (9/10 recommend). Will definitely be coming back here for other special occasions and for their brunch and lunch menus!
Mothers day was great!
Food was very average felt like vegan 101. Basic bland and ehh. Maybe we ordered wrong. Staff was pleasant the food basic. I don't think brunch is there bench mark meal. I don't think I would come back. I was underwhelmed.
Love this restaurant! Wish they would bring back the special occasion buffets.
Always an amazing meal at Crossroads. Definitely the best vegan food in LA.
Our waiter wasn’t great he seemed to now be having a great day.
One of the best plant-based restaurants in the country
Hands down the best vegan restaurant in LA and maybe anywhere.
Crossroads was on my bucket list. We traveled from Ohio to California to specifically visit this restaurant. The food was outstanding and everything I dreamed of from reading the cook book many times. Loved it! I only wish the service was better. I felt very much that we were being rushed out - which was disappointing seeing as how we ordered a bottle of wine, soups, an abundance of small plates, pizza and dessert. Even so, it seemed like they were ready to move on to the next table. This attitude from service hindered our wish to savor each beautiful dish in front of us. A shame but still so happy we visited.
Crossroads is my favorite restaurant. It’s menu is inventive and the dishes are delicious. It never disappoints.
This is the 3rd time I've given Crossroads a try. And this meal was the most mediocre. At 6:30 they were already out of some dishes. Everything we ordered lacked flavor. To quote my friend, Amy's lasagne is better than their lasagne. I have to agree. FYI: I am well versed in food, having a brother who is an renowned chef so I do know food. I can say the mint sundae was good, not fabulous but very good.
We had a great meal at Crossroads. We opted to sit at the counter, as it felt more intimate than the two-top tables. They recommended three to four of the tapas style dishes per person, but we selected just four to share between the two of us, and we found that to be plenty of food. The lasagna was delicious and the king oyster mushrooms were super tasty. Service was efficient, but could have been friendlier. Overall, it was great and we will definitely be back.
Fabulous, unique, delicious vegan food. Excellent service.
I’ve always liked Crossroads...the food is amazing, service excellent and the people, very nice. Best vegan restaurant I’ve ever been to.
Birthday . I took my nephew out for a special dinner . He is 13 with gluten and dairy allergies and a young persons palate. The waitress was helpful in identifying options but when a dish came and I double checked about the croutons she gave me attitude about asking . If I’m paying Crossroads prices for a simple meal for two, I want to be able to ask all the questions I need so my nephews Health is protected and so he enjoys his food . I was bothered by the attitude. We still tipped very nicely and We like Crossroads and will continue to come , but special needs are the nature this restaurant (hello high end vegan in LA) . I don’t want to get attitude for asking twice at a place like Crossroads. Please pass this along. Otherwise it was a lovely evening
We were seated as soon as we arrived. The service was great and food even better. I had the Maid Service cocktail and it was light and refreshing and perfect alcohol content. I will be back.
Visiting my daughter
Crossroads offers a great vegan menu, and our server even offered my husband a nut-free menu for his allergy. I love the main dining room’s atmosphere. Great upscale ambience and our server was very attentive which I really appreciated. Great place to celebrate special occasions or date nights.
First time there and it was fantastic!
Food was expensive, but portions were decent and extremely well made - complex flavors and delicious.
The restaurant was very loud, and I was in a row of small two person tables that were so close to each other people struggled to stand and squeeze between them to get in or out, which was annoying. Also very easy to hear other people's conversations as the tables where so close and the ambience so loud, it felt like everyone - including us - were yelling.
Highlight - celebrity sighting of Annette Benning and Warren Beattie - and then Tig Notaro walks in and joins them. What in the world?!? only in LA
Our hostess was rude, she had attitude and was pressuring us to leave by 7:15
So my reservation was at 5:45, I arrived at 6:03, The hostess seemed to be upset and kept saying that you will need to finish eating and leave by 7:15, at that point I was getting upset, here I come for the first time to eat at your restaurant, and I am pressured to hurry and eat and leave by 7:15 pm, we had plenty of time to eat, why would your hostess tell us that you need to leave by 7:15. She should have been polite and professional and not say anything, we were done eating by then, however she set the tone from the beginning with an unpleasant welcome.
I used to own restaurants and If I new that my hostess was treating my guests this way, she would be terminated on the spot that day, no excuses, end of story.
You can call me if you have any questions. Claude. 310 871 1104
Amazing food. Hard to believe how the cook can get plants to taste like that. I might become a vegan if I could eat like that every day.
Food was fantastic and our waitress was fun, funny, super helpful and displayed amazing service! I definitely recommend this restaurant and did I say the food was fantastic!!! Soooo yummy!
Great food as always
My new favorite gourmet vegan foody spot. Definitely a go to date night for me and my hubby!
Server never came to check if we needed anything, very short
