About Crossroads

Crossroads refines the Los Angeles dining scene, and is helmed by culinary trailblazer, Chef Tal Ronnen. Highlighting small plate dining with a Mediterranean influence, Crossroads features the cuisine that Ronnen is famous for; beautifully presented plant based dishes that are flavorful and innovative. A rotating selection of custom-made libations, artisanal small batch spirits, and a thoughtfully crafted wine list complement the fare. The imaginative and ever-changing menu with dishes approached with a conscience manner, is inspired by seasonal Southern California ingredients.

The food was nothing special. YOU CAN MAKE JUST AS GOOD VEGAN DISHES AT HOME. THE WAIT STAFF WAS OK, BUT THE HOSTESS WAS TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL. SHE DIDN'T SEEM ABLE TO MAN HER POST AT THE RECEPTION DESK, AND KEEP DISAPPEARING, LEAVING PATRONS UNSEATED AND WAITING FOR HER RETURN.

It was a new experience for my husband and I, we went to this place for the late hours a very hard find for a plant friendly place. We really really liked the food it was fabulous, hats off to the chef. However we went on a Friday night so it was loud, crowded and only had valet parking so yeah.

The food is incredible. The ambience is top notch. Our server was not.

4 of us ordered about 6 plates to share - she coldly asked what else we'd like to order since most people get 2-3 plates each. We stuck to our original order and were treated like second class customers for the rest of our time there.

Again - the food is phenomenal but our waitress was the worst (as well as the portions).

The food is always consistent.
Chef knows how to bring Vegan to the next level. Every bite is an explosion of flavor molecules on your palate.
I'd like to see fewer fried items, more variety, larger portions and or lower prices on the smaller sized plates. The ratio between portion size and price is not in balance. I'd recommend the carbonara , chicken Parmesan, and the Brussels sprouts.

Beautiful upscale restaurant with full bar. It is primarily a vegan restaurant with many gluten free meals. Dishes are smallish and good for two people to share 5 or 6 dishes. All of the dishes were expertly prepared and tasted awesome. The waitress was also really good at cross-checking food allergies for us.

Some of the best Vegan food I've ever had. Would really appeal to meat eaters. The ambiance is great and the vibe is chill. My only two complaints would be the portion sizes to price ratio. This is not the place to come to if you're hungry or on a budget.

Food exceeded my expectations. Service was fantastic. I was there on a Saturday and the place was packed. Very vibrant and fun. However if you would like to have great vegan food and a dinner conversation - go on a weeknight.

AMAZING! We make a point to dine at Crossroads on every visit to LA. We went twice last weekend. Who knew vegan could be so good! Even our meat-eating adult kids love it. Obviously, I HIGHLY recommend Crossroads! The service is always top notch. We have asked our waiter/waitress each visit which is their favorite dish and go with it. We have never been disappointed. We are almost out of different things to order! Everything is our favorite!

This is an exciting restaurant with a spectacular menu and the finest vegan cooking you will find anywhere. Also, it is rumored that Chrissie Hynde from the Pretenders is a co-owner... and you know that can't be bad. An amazing night... do yourself a favor and go!

Great for dinner but lunch is massively underwhelming. $18 for a vegan burger is just silly considering you can get one just about anywhere. Lunch menu is extremely limited. Also, seating is so tight.

The food was quite tasty, but the service was quite poor, and the attitude somewhat arrogant. The best service came from the buss boys. We had a reservation for 4 for my daughters birthday. They had 4 empty booths when we came in (each with four place settings) and we requested one but were told that they were for parties greater than 4 and were reserved. The hostess sent us to an empty back overflow room with small tables. I went back up to the Hostess Stand, and after pointing out that the empty booths were set for 4, and we were a party of 4, the hostess finally acquiesced after several minutes and we moved to one of the 4 empty booths. The other 3 stayed booths empty the rest of the night. Oddly, we saw our waitress leave the building with a daypack on, and had to get the bus boy go get our bill after dessert. The food was very good, but I would have a hard time going back given the poor treatment that we received.

The food is always incredible and normally the service is great. This time we had both our starters before our wine arrived. We cut back to glasses of wine vs a bottle because the food came out so fast we didnt have time to enjoy a bottle. Our sever was very abrupt, cold and unpleasant as well as unknowleable about wines.

I love crossroads for lunch and brunch. But we decided to book in for their Thanksgiving prefix dinner. $80 per head, to including drinks or service of course. We stood waiting for 30 minutes to be seated (they had no seating in reception) before finally being moved to the bar (for a free drink, which made up for the wait a little). Once seated, we were promptly served the first course (no menus on the table so we had no idea what it was) before it was worked away and the second course was duly dumped in front of us. We finally managed to flag down the server who then bought over the menu, but the special intention of going out for a romantic meal had been a little ruined. My suggestion to Crossroads is if you do plan on hosting seasonal and special events, is to make sure the staff are just as invested in making it great as the prefix per head cost suggests it might be.

We have been to Crossroads a few times and have always enjoyed it. This Thanksgiving was ridiculous in that we sat down at 12:55 and we're leaving at 2:00!!! This is not a fast food restaurant but that's exactly how we were treated 😡 My husband was having his penultimate spoonful of soup when they asked if he'd finished!!!
We'd been told beforehand that we had an hour and a half to eat - I thought this was not much time as it was Thanksgiving but what happened was unacceptable!
I hesitate to criticize the staff because I'm sure they were told to rush us, so it wasn't their fault
The food was not up to par either. I really don't think we'll be returning anytime soon

This is the best kept secret in LA. I’m not a vegetarian and I loved every bite! Better than Cafe Gratitude and better than Sage. A gourmet experience that happens to be plant based 😋

Incredible. Green juice. Tomato bisque soup. Sides of fruit and fingerling potatoes. Apple rye fritter w/sage ice cream & salted caramel for dessert. And I’m so grateful to staff as I accidentally left my purse at home so they took my credit card # over the phone.

Great vegan food that you wouldn’t know was vegan if they didn’t tell you. Very attentive service and supplied their best hearing-impaired seating upon request. Understandably pricey and higher noise level when full.

I have never been so rushed through a meal and felt unwelcome. The British GM was so rude that we will never go back. Food outstanding but ruined by cold service. There is a 2 hour time limit and the table near us was asked to leave. I have never heard of that in my life. We spent $300 and I felt we treated so poorly. The manager had no people skills and a bad attitude. I will be letting my friends know NOT to go there and it’s very unfortunate. What a real shame.
