About Crossroads

Crossroads refines the Los Angeles dining scene, and is helmed by culinary trailblazer, Chef Tal Ronnen. Highlighting small plate dining with a Mediterranean influence, Crossroads features the cuisine that Ronnen is famous for; beautifully presented plant based dishes that are flavorful and innovative. A rotating selection of custom-made libations, artisanal small batch spirits, and a thoughtfully crafted wine list complement the fare. The imaginative and ever-changing menu with dishes approached with a conscience manner, is inspired by seasonal Southern California ingredients.

As ever, amazing food and wAiting staff. As ever, very rushed (plates cleared the second you finish your last bite) and front desk just so rude and unhelpful. Staggeringly delicious food though.

We really enjoyed our visit! We went on a Saturday during a busy time and our food still came out in a timely manner, and was hot. Servers were attentive.

Hadn't been to Crossroads in a long time...and was so pleasantly surprised once again! Everything was just delicious...including the rose champagne!!!! They were extremely busy...and you would never know that you were eating vegan only!!!! So many vegan restaurants are heavy foods....this was not at all. Really enjoyed everything. The service was excellent. I won't wait so long to come back again!

The service was so insulting... I’m in the service industry and work very hard and take pride in the way I treat people. It was ridiculous from the rude hostess to the check coming out b4 we even asked. I made a reservation well before the evening of the dinner and expressed that it was my very good friends birthday. We had to sit at a very uncomfortable table with bad attitudes from every person that came by. The only reason I didn’t walk out is because it was a plan we had for days and it was too late.

The food was delicious! You dont miss the meat part of a meal. The Impossible Cigars and crab cakes were my favorite. The non-alcoholic drink we ordered called Fed-up was very ginger forward and lacked flavor. The Sundae was amazing but the chocolate cake was only OK.

This is the 2nd time I have eaten here and the food is amazing, creative and seasonal. Worth the hour drive. The wait staff was knowledgeable, professional and down to earth.

Overpriced and overall not very impressive. We drove from Santa Barbara to Crossroads for our 5 year Anniversary and it was definitely a waste of money.

This was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had! The hostesses were sullen and had attitudes when we asked to sit in the main dining area which was half empty! The waitresses lack of personality matched the tasteless blob of food they called eggs Benedict! I could have had a lovely brunch at Café Gratitude for about the same amount of money , but much with more pizzazz! Crossroads has no redeeming features ! It rates minus one!

The Food was expensive but good especially for people that are vegan. I hate how crowded it was though. It made want to leave since we could barely hear my girlfriend and I talking. I won’t recommend this restaurant for a date.

The food at Crossroads is amazing. I went there for my birthday. Unfortunately the wait staff and host personnel are rude and very attitudey. We felt rushed the entire time we were there and our female wait person was bothered by every question we asked. Unfortunately they just want to turn and burn & make you feel extremely unwelcome. I’ve been to Crossroads a few times and this is pretty consistent. I love the food however & can’t get enough of it.

We didn’t order drinks and got mostly small plates. All our food was delivered very fast, no time in between dishes. I felt very clearly like they were trying to rush us out because we wouldn’t be a big ticket that night. Never mind that we’ve been loyal customers, often coming with more people and ordering drinks.

my favorite hotel. Servers are awesome but hostesses up front fairly snooty. Should exude the down to earthness expected from a vegan restaurant with an Israeli chef.

Have been here 5 times or so and always enjoyed it. This time the service was not great - somewhat pretentious and not attentive at all. Food was great as usual. 2 of the 3 deserts were too sweet though.

Had high expectations because I purchased the cookbook. The service was not the greatest. The waiter appeared arrogant and annoyed. The food did not live up to my expectations and didn’t taste as fresh as I hoped for being vegan food.

Wonderful NYE dinner menu - the beet tartare and wellington were especially amazing along with the rest of the plates being fantastic as well. The dessert (creme brulee) was a bit on the sweet side but we thoroughly enjoyed our last supper of 2017 and cannot wait to come back for a regular night out again. Thank you!

Crossroads is my favorite vegan restaurant! I have been vegan for 22 years and traveled far and wide to sample vegan restaurant fare. What Tal and the pastry chef are doing at Crossroads is phenomenal. Great job!

Tried the restaurant because my son is a vegan. The portions are small plates - and I do mean small! So dark we could not see what small items were on the plates so had to use cell phone light. One item was presented on an artichoke leaf and the leaf was not even cooked so I bit into it thinking it would be, it would have been or should have been better. Never again. Expensive for the portions.

As always when I go to Crossroads, I was pleasantly surprised and my stomach was happy. Their menu is exceptional and very creative when it comes to making a normal non-vegan plate into a vegan option. I will go back to this restaurant until the day I die.

Amazing food! Every time we have been the staff is incrediably rude. From hostess to wait staff. It's very unfortunate because it does put a damper on the experience. The food is excellent and that is what keeps us coming in.
