Best indian food in all of greater philadelphia! They have the best chicken tikka masala I have ever had!
I made the reservation based on proximity. I was pleasantly surprised at the food. I don't remember the names but we got a non-vegetarian assortment, a spicy vegetable dish and a side order of garlic naan. Everything was very good and I'd go back. The assortment had several small dishes - definitely enough for two if your not big eaters.
Really nice and enjoyable meal. Food was outstanding.
The food was excellent! We have been dining here for years. I would highly recommend this as one of the best Indian restaurants in South Jersey.
The restaurant has a very pleasant decor, Servers very knowledgeable in describing entrees, a very relaxed pace. Presentations very attractive. You could spend an evening eating there without feeling uncomfortable. You will leave hungry and it’s very affordable. I will return !!!
Ps its BYOB as well 😊
Cross Culture remains the best, most consistent Indian restaurant in our area. Never been to the one in Princeton, but this gem in Haddonfield is a great place to introduce yourself to an amazing cuisine.
We go here regularly. Service is always very attentive. I got the special biryani which was a little spicy for me. The waiter insisted on taking it back to the kitchen and adjusting the spice level. Delicious.
Fantastic great food casual and easy - decent atmosphere
Good food. Their specials where really good. Of course great veterinarian options. Plenty of "non-veg" options as well.
Excellent quality and delicious food.
A gourmet Indian Restaurant experience.
Very authentic Indian food.
This was my first visit to Cross Culture. The food was delicious, service was vey good and it was very quiet on this particular Saturday night. Very enjoyable and I will return again in the future.
Delicious, as always. A great restaurant on a wonderful Main Street in Haddonfield.
Great food, really nice server, beautiful place. I took my dad here for his birthday and he enjoyed the meal.
The food is great again! A few months back we had an awful meal there- 1st time ever in all the years we've eaten there. We're so glad we went back for another try. It's at the top of our favorites list again!
My wife and I have dined at Cross Cultures many times. The food is delicious. They season to your preferences. Servers are always attentive to filling your water glass and bringing the food out while still hot.
First time we were there, liked the atmosphere and food was very good , staff was accomadating as well.
This is one of a Favorite restaurants. They service is always great and I've never had a bad meal.
It was a first trip to Cross Culture. My wife loves Indian food and I was motivated by the many reviews of very good food. We love to find little gems like Cross Culture and pass that onto friends. We will be back.
Really surprised this restaurant was not busier on a Saturday night. Very few patrons while we were there. The food was quite good. Very fresh, very flavorful. Have been here before and enjoyed it so came back . Sure hope other people will try this restaurant. Would like to see it do it considering how much all 4 of us enjoyed our dinners.
Very Disappointed. Food was uncharacteristically poor. Service was disjointed. No one seemed to be responsible for a particular task or table. Even though we have enjoyed this restaurant in the past, we may not come back.
I was disappointed. I had a 7 pm reservation and was seated upon entering. However, it took about 15-20 minutes for our order to be taken. It took another one half hour to get our food which was cold and salmon was raw. I was very surprised about this since it's usually a great experience.
An "off night". Let me start out by saying that it was New Years Eve and the place was packed! This was our 2nd visit to Cross Culture. The first was quite good. Though my other half got scorched by her entree which she and I had implored the server to make absolutely mild and the replacement entree was only slightly more tepid, the server was quite surly about making the order right. Another server, who said she'd only be working there a week, did her level best to right the situation with us and several patrons who were having issues. I chalk this night up to them being overwhelmed and will give them another try. When they're good, they are real good!
My husband and I went to Cross Culture on a Friday night for my birthday, and were joined by another couple. I have been to Cross Culture before and had a great experience so I thought it would be a good choice for my birthday dinner. It was a busy Friday night and they had 2 waiters in the whole place. As a result, we were given terrible service. Our waiter was clearly overwhelmed but did not come across friendly at all. Without exaggeration, it was over 45 minutes before our order was finally taken. We got there at 6:45 and I checked my phone for the time at 7:30 and our order still hadn't been taken. We got the bread basket (different naan breads) and shrimp tandoori for appetizers and those were both good. After some more waiting, I asked for garlic naan bread to hold us over before our meals finally arrived and my friend asked for a chai tea. The garlic naan bread didn't come out until our meals came, which was much later. My friend also had to ask again to get a chai tea. And my husband had ordered a side salad to be served prior to our meals, and that just never came. We also brought our own birthday cake which sat on our table the whole time. They never asked if we wanted them to store it in the back to be cut later or anything. We had to request plates, forks, and knives for us to serve to ourselves, which also took forever to be brought to our table. By the time we got back to our car (after our reservation time of 6:45) it was 9:30. It was a shame. The food is great at this restaurant, but the service was just unacceptable.
Consistently great food--lamb biryani is out of this world!
Food was delicious but I was expecting a nicer decorum considering the location. Service was just ok.
The server was knowledgable and attentive without being obtrusive. The food was wonderful. We can't wait to come back!
Good selection of foods to try
Vinny was helpful with menu selections. Great food!
We go to Cross Culture frequently and have never been disappointed. Food is outstanding and wait staff is very good at working with customers who are new to Indian cuisine. The best Lamb biryani I have ever had!
This was a gem.A Great find! Everything was wonderful for our routine family dinner. We explore restaurants every Sunday. Honestly, The family was very pleased with every aspect. The food is exceptional. Compliments to everyone from seating to leaving. Thank you Open Table for the suggestion.
Delicious and tasty. Great flavors. Very friendly wait staff.
The food was delicious. The only thing I would point out is that when they ask you if you want bread, and you say yes, they are going to charge you for it.
Very good food, well prepared.
Attentive and friendly service.
BYOB. Slightly pricey but worth it.
Owners took great care in making the atmosphere very warm and inviting. Food was out of this "world". Music was an extra treat. We used to go to Coriander and still might continue but it will be a difficult decision next time. Our first visit......can't wait till second one.
Lunch buffet had good selection. Food was hot and tasted good. At the end, when we asked the waiter to come over to take the check, he looked at us, and then walked away. The advertised price on the website of $9.95 per person turned out to be $10.95 but no one cared to update the website.
Outstanding food , service and ambiance.
Highly recommend for those looking to experience the Indian cuisine for the first time.
First time eating Indian cuisine and it was amazing. Can't want to come back.
We always enjoy the food at Cross Culture. Great flavors and when they say it won't be spicy, they are always true to their word. Though friends of ours do like heat, so that's there for those that like it.
My fiancee and I have been coming to Cross Culture for a couple years now, and the only improvement we could ask for is that we get the chance to dine here more often. The menu changed slightly from our last visit, and my sweetie's favorite dish was no longer offered, but to be honest, that wasn't really an inconvenience since she likes pretty much everything else on the menu just as much. The tandoori fish appetizer is just absolutely amazing. One word of caution, don't get brave or think you're going to show off when it comes to requesting a spice level - the kitchen likes their spices, and a little bit goes a long way. The gentleman at the table beside ours requested a spice level of 6, stating he was a veteran of Indian food, and he was caught off guard by the strength of the burn and had some difficulty eating his entree. We have learned that going low is the key to success - unless you're truly into pain, trust us when we say that a 2 to a 4 is a good balance of sting and flavor [it goes up to 10...]. I cannot recommend Cross Culture enough.
