Croissants Bistro and Bakery
Lunch: Monday - Friday: 11:00am - 6:00pm;
Brunch: Saturday 8:00am - 6:00pm; Sunday 9:00am - 2:00pm
Very great service but the food could have had more seasoning.
Only complaint is had to wait 20 minutes past reservation time
The food was outstanding! I had shrimp & grits and my gf had brie crepes. It was her birthday and we had a great carrot cake cupcake. The location is surprising but inside was lovely and quiet. I'll be going back many times!
Food and service were great. Our waitress was very pleasant.
I made a reservation for 12 noon. Arrived at 11:50. Was sat quickly. Sat there for 15 minutes before we our oder was taken. Told server we were o our lunch and had to get this going. Another 20 minutes go by and we reminded the server we needed our order. We got served properly 5 minutes later.
Chicken salad was ehhh. Butternut soup was delish. Pasta salad was really ugly, brown dressing? Really not appetizing at all.
Was I impressed on my 1st visit? No Will I return? Probably not. There was nothing that mKes me want to. Sadly, but true.
Service was extremely slow. It appeared to be just our waitress as she would disappear for long periods of time making us wait 15-20 minutes to place our order and not refilling empty water glasses until we got our check. Food was mostly good although my omelet was lacking taste.
Awesome!!! Can’t leave without getting the macaroons to go!!
Did not live up to the previous reviews we had read. I’ve had better croissants from Kroger. Omelette was a bit dry. Pretty average food
A little busy since it was Mother's Day which impacted the speed of service.
First, making a reservation thru open table meant nothing. We waited for our table in a hallway for 25 minutes, no chairs.........with 15 other people. Some made reservations some not. ONe man got mad, went to hostess, and got seated before us. he did not have a reservation.
they were overwhelmed, service was extremely slow, waitress was not attentive. Poor experience, wont be back and wont recommend it.
Awesome food and service
The pastries and cappuccinos were delicious, but the other food (especially brunch options like the omelettes) was very lackluster. We appreciated the special muffins for Mother's Day, but didn't love that there was a complete lack of gluten free options. We're big foodies and were in town for a short visit and think (based on other places we saw online and when driving around) that this is likely your best bet for breakfast/brunch in the area.
Very nice friendly staff.
Excellent food for a good price
We visit Croissants every time we come to Myrtle Beach. We do at least 2 or more lunches here. Friendly staff, good and healthy food. Try the chicken salad sandwich, this is just one of our favorites here. Great baked items! We have never been disappointed eating here.
We love Croissants! The food is always outstanding, and the menu has plenty of variety. The Eggs Benedict that are served on croissants are especially good.
My husband and I each ordered a benny; his was the crab cake and mine the California. they were both delicious and I love how they are served on a croissant. We had a reservation and I am glad we did. Long line of people waiting to get in.
Favorite among locals and vacationers. Croissants has never failed to please.
Was very impressed by the atmosphere, staff, and definitely the food. An absolute repeat just to try another menu item.
Great breakfast spot!
We went for lunch at Croissants and enjoyed Caesar salads and soup and sandwich. But we did save room for dessert. And we are glad we did. We highly recommend the 3 cake sampler, which we shared. Their cakes are to die for. We enjoyed our lunch and look forward to returning. The service was friendly courteous and we enjoyed sitting outside.
Great brunch selections. Our server brought out delicious Strawberry mini muffins as an appetizer. Our table ordered Chicken and Waffles, kale salad, Spanish chorizo omelet and California Benedict. All dishes were superbly seasoned and generous in proportion. This was Easter Sunday when most places charge an exorbitant amount for an overrated buffet but Croissants is very reasonably priced especially for the quality of food they serve and the atmosphere is more laid back and relaxed. There are more healthy alternatives than most restaurants offer in the area. That being said, the bakery case is to die for and if you are looking for a "cheat" day, this would be it! We have been visiting this location for a while now. The service used to be a little iffy but since this group has opened up the Hook and Barrel and the second Croissants location, management seems to be a little more on their toes. This visit was perfect and we will definitely be back.
Croissants never fails to deliver. At the original location and the new location at Heidi's Corner, the food is outstanding and the wait staff friendly and professional. Desserts are a must have. Take one home if you're too full from your meal. Some of our favorite foods are the Bananas Foster French Toast, the Shrimp and Grits, and any of the crepes.
Fantastic Easter Brunch, becoming a family tradition when we make it to Myrtle Beach for Spring Break.
Food was good. Little pricey for breakfast however. Family of four $68 plus tip ($80)
The service and food were both wonderful. Some friends and I are there for Easter brunch and enjoyed it very much. We will be returning next time we are in Myrtle Beach!
Service was excellent and pimento cheese grits were out of this world!!
We travel quite a bit and were in Myrtle Beach for our kid's competition - we came across this hidden gem and ended up coming back for brunch two days in a row - a must try!
Loved that I could make reservations online. The Fried Green Tomato Sandwich was Fabulous with pasta salad. Amazing everything!!!!! I also enjoyed the Bloody Mary Make Your Own Bar!!!!!!!
This is one of our favorite restaurants. The food is always good and the desserts are incredible.
Great location for Sat/Sun brunch .. so many options that jut get those taste buds ready. Unfortunately, I’ll have to wait till summer to return to Myrtle, but I’ll be sure to stop here!!
Loved it! Great ambiance
Lovely bakery bistro in Myrtle Beach with a delectable variety of offerings. I had their scrumptious French toast foster and my husband thoroughly enjoyed his Spanish omelet. Service was excellent - attentive and fast! Although we didn't buy any bakery treats on our way out, breakfast came with raspberry chocolate chip mini muffins that were delicious. I ordered a smoothie (freshly juiced fruits and veggies) to go and found it light and refreshing. Highly recommend dining here!
This was our first visit there. The menu was varied and extensive making it a tough choice to decide on what to have-which is a good dilemma to have if the food is good and here it was excellent! There is not a lot of seating. The server was gracious and knowledgeable. My friend had the southwest salad and I had the chicken salad on croissant with cheesy hashbrowns. Everything was delicious! I also purchased baked Goods from there on site bakery counter. It was a good variety including fruit tarts, Almond Joy brownies, cannoli, and cupcakes-and no, I did not eat them all! But the ones I did eat were well worth the calories! We will go there anytime we are in the area! Since we are from Charleston, we are accustomed to good food but both of us wished they would open one there!
Shrimp and grits preparation was outstanding and unique. Since desert is always the high point of this restaurant, it's best to select it first and base the rest of the meal on your choice or plan desert to go.
The meal was good but should have been hotter. We will go back.
Went with husband and friend for Restaurant Week (RW) in South Carolina. The RW menu was limited to a choice of two appetizers (soup or chicken salad on croissant), two entrees (shrimp and grits or eggs benedict) and your choice of any one of the baked items from the bakery case (this was the highlight of the meal). I had the onion soup, shrimp and grits and a piece of white cake with buttercream frosting. Everything was perfectly done and well presented. My husband had the chicken salad, shrimp and grits and a piece of chocolate mousse cake. His opinion was the same as mine. Our friend had the same as me and was just as pleased.
We also reviewed the regular menu and agreed that this would be a great place to come for lunch outside of RW. This particular location is open for breakfast and lunch and stops serving at 2 pm, although the bakery is open until 4 pm.
Reserved table for seven was ready on time and located in quiet alcove. Both breakfast and lunch menus were presented, along with a special restaurant week menu consisting of first course, main course and dessert, all for $20.00. Other menu prices were reasonable. Waiter was very efficient and friendly, and food came in a reasonable amount of time. All dishes were served as ordered and were quite good, based on comments from our diners. This restaurant is known for its cakes and other desserts, and the salted caramel chocolate cake that the reviewer had was very tasty. The wide selection of baked goods are available for purchase to take home. A very nice experience at Croissants Bistro and Bakery.
First time at this restaurant and really enjoyed the Restaurant Week menu. The French Onion soup had great flavor, the Shrimp and Grits were the best we’ve ever had, and the desserts....well they are outstanding. The place is rather small and noisy when full, but well worth it.
Fabulous lunch with a friend during Restaurant Week. The Coconut Custard Cake is the best cake I have ever tasted. Enjoyable lunch and had to take dessert to go!
Our first visit to Croissants. We are visiting from Boston and heard about Restaurant Week. Looked up the menu and decided to visit. Three course brunch was fabulous. We plan to get back and choose the alternate selections this week. EXCELLENT!
