Favorite spot for brunch at the Beach.
We loved our brunch and highly recommend! We plan to go back and sample more of the home made offerings!
Croissant’s, as usual, served an outstanding brunch! My wife and I absolutely love the Madame Croque and the kids sit perfectly still for the chocolate chip pancakes. The service was, and always is, impeccable. Cheers!
The food was amazing as always. This was not my first time here, and wanted to bring some friends for their first time that were visiting from out of town. There were 7 of us and we had an 11 am reservation. Our brunch took two hours, it took 50 mins just to get our appetizer of fried green tomatoes. We watched tables come, get their food and go before we got ours. Just a little disappointed in the lengthy visit.
I have visited this restaurant with my mother, who lives in the area, on many occasions. This made it a good place to have family members gather for her 88th birthday brunch. Upon arriving, I was challenged by the staff as to whether I had a reservation which I had made on Open Table. I was asked to show the email confirmation, which I did. This was embarrassing and took some time. We were told that another reservation had been made by someone with the same first name, for 4, not 7 as mine was, and they were confused. We were asked to wait for a table and were sent off to a hall to wait. We got two tables, separated by an aisle so that we could not sit together. None of the family live in Myrtle Beach except my mother, and we were deprived of being able to be at the same table together. This was very unfortunate and the staff did nothing to help. If anything, they were antagonistic and unwilling to accept fault for having seated the wrong party at my reserved table.
Heuvos rancheros exceptional!
I have to say that I was disappointed when we took our adult daughter to Croissants for lunch yesterday. I chose it as I had been there before and thought she would really enjoy it. We each ordered sandwiches. Even though we were one table of two that were in there, service was very slow. Our server kept disappearing into the kitchen for long periods of time and when she emerged she did not even look our way, I had to wave to get her attention each time we needed her. My daughter ordered the crabcake sandwich which she said was just ok, the crab was not lump crab but rather the stringy brown part of the crab. My husband got the Croque Madame which he said was very good. I got the chicken salad as they note on the menu it is very popular. The chicken salad was very dry, little to no mayo, nothing else except I found a stray piece of celery. I tried to get our server's attention to bring me some mayo but that took 10 minutes as she never came back to ask us if our food was ok. Even with adding some mayo it was very bland. The house made chips were ok, I liked that they were waffled but they were overcooked and greasy. I liked the little sweet salad they gave as a freebie with the meal but both my husband and daughter didn't like it due to the marshmallows and coconut it had in it. We decided to order some dessert for her birthday cake as they have these beautiful looking cakes in the display as you come in. We had a very difficult time finding our server and then getting her attention to take our order for the dessert. We ordered the 3 cake sampler. Two out of the three cakes were very dry like they had been sitting there for quite a while. The server cut off the end that had been exposed from previous cutting and actually had the nerve to serve that to us. It was hard and dry. Overall I spent $70 for lunch and was embarrassed to bring my daughter there for her birthday.
Great eggs Benedict and wonderful quinoa salad with shrimp. With reservations, we got seated right away
Awesome brunch spot!!! Good was delicious and service was fast and friendly.
We had a reservation for 3 people for 9:15 AM on a Sunday morning. There were only 2 tables occupied. Got there right on time, hostess had trouble finding our reservation - if she ever found it I don't know. There was no table set up for 3 people so we had to wait till that was done.
Croissants were listed on the menu as being part of what we each ordered. We didn't get them. It was our first time dining there so we thought we had misread the menu. However, a few minutes later a worker from behind the pastry came and asked us if we wanted croissants. We each said yes and got them. They were cold as if taken out of a refrigerator and they were not fresh.
The ham and brie omelets did not have the have that incorporated into the omelets; instead it was in the fold over of the omelet and the cheese wasn't melted. The breakfast sausage was very good.
Our breakfast was very disappointing. Considering the lackluster decor, high prices, mediocre meal and fair service, we will not be going back.
We have eaten at both several times. Having a reservation was a good idea. Twice their cinnamon rolls were sold out, so this time I asked for 2 to be held for our arrival. Once we got there, they were confused about where the cinnamon rolls were. They did find them. The waitress was not the best, but the food was great!
Amazing service and great setting! We surprised our parents with a special Sunday brunch to celebrate their wedding anniversary on a recent family vacation. Food was great and the service was fantastic. Would highly recommend.
I loved the menu options, the chicken and waffles and acai berry bowl were delicious, and our waitress brought out complimentary pineapple orange muffins which were delightful! Great ambiance and pastry selections
Excellent restaurant! We were in town for five days and at three meals here! The food was outstanding! Everything we tried was excellent-- tasty, flavorful, creative, great portions. The Dutch style pancakes were out of this world! The restaurant was clean and service was quick and friendly. Our server, Dakota, was attentive, remembered us between visits and was quick to refill our drinks and help us. As we left Myrtle Beach we said, "We'll miss the ocean and Croissants the most!"
Excellence to the tee!! Always great food, genuine smiling faces serving, and quick timing as well for food..
Very great service but the food could have had more seasoning.
Only complaint is had to wait 20 minutes past reservation time
The food was outstanding! I had shrimp & grits and my gf had brie crepes. It was her birthday and we had a great carrot cake cupcake. The location is surprising but inside was lovely and quiet. I'll be going back many times!
Food and service were great. Our waitress was very pleasant.
I made a reservation for 12 noon. Arrived at 11:50. Was sat quickly. Sat there for 15 minutes before we our oder was taken. Told server we were o our lunch and had to get this going. Another 20 minutes go by and we reminded the server we needed our order. We got served properly 5 minutes later.
Chicken salad was ehhh. Butternut soup was delish. Pasta salad was really ugly, brown dressing? Really not appetizing at all.
Was I impressed on my 1st visit? No Will I return? Probably not. There was nothing that mKes me want to. Sadly, but true.
Service was extremely slow. It appeared to be just our waitress as she would disappear for long periods of time making us wait 15-20 minutes to place our order and not refilling empty water glasses until we got our check. Food was mostly good although my omelet was lacking taste.
Awesome!!! Can’t leave without getting the macaroons to go!!
Did not live up to the previous reviews we had read. I’ve had better croissants from Kroger. Omelette was a bit dry. Pretty average food
A little busy since it was Mother's Day which impacted the speed of service.
First, making a reservation thru open table meant nothing. We waited for our table in a hallway for 25 minutes, no chairs.........with 15 other people. Some made reservations some not. ONe man got mad, went to hostess, and got seated before us. he did not have a reservation.
they were overwhelmed, service was extremely slow, waitress was not attentive. Poor experience, wont be back and wont recommend it.
Awesome food and service
The pastries and cappuccinos were delicious, but the other food (especially brunch options like the omelettes) was very lackluster. We appreciated the special muffins for Mother's Day, but didn't love that there was a complete lack of gluten free options. We're big foodies and were in town for a short visit and think (based on other places we saw online and when driving around) that this is likely your best bet for breakfast/brunch in the area.
Very nice friendly staff.
Excellent food for a good price
We visit Croissants every time we come to Myrtle Beach. We do at least 2 or more lunches here. Friendly staff, good and healthy food. Try the chicken salad sandwich, this is just one of our favorites here. Great baked items! We have never been disappointed eating here.
We love Croissants! The food is always outstanding, and the menu has plenty of variety. The Eggs Benedict that are served on croissants are especially good.
My husband and I each ordered a benny; his was the crab cake and mine the California. they were both delicious and I love how they are served on a croissant. We had a reservation and I am glad we did. Long line of people waiting to get in.
Favorite among locals and vacationers. Croissants has never failed to please.
Was very impressed by the atmosphere, staff, and definitely the food. An absolute repeat just to try another menu item.
Gem of a restaurant and bakery !
Great breakfast spot!
We went for lunch at Croissants and enjoyed Caesar salads and soup and sandwich. But we did save room for dessert. And we are glad we did. We highly recommend the 3 cake sampler, which we shared. Their cakes are to die for. We enjoyed our lunch and look forward to returning. The service was friendly courteous and we enjoyed sitting outside.
Great brunch selections. Our server brought out delicious Strawberry mini muffins as an appetizer. Our table ordered Chicken and Waffles, kale salad, Spanish chorizo omelet and California Benedict. All dishes were superbly seasoned and generous in proportion. This was Easter Sunday when most places charge an exorbitant amount for an overrated buffet but Croissants is very reasonably priced especially for the quality of food they serve and the atmosphere is more laid back and relaxed. There are more healthy alternatives than most restaurants offer in the area. That being said, the bakery case is to die for and if you are looking for a "cheat" day, this would be it! We have been visiting this location for a while now. The service used to be a little iffy but since this group has opened up the Hook and Barrel and the second Croissants location, management seems to be a little more on their toes. This visit was perfect and we will definitely be back.
Croissants never fails to deliver. At the original location and the new location at Heidi's Corner, the food is outstanding and the wait staff friendly and professional. Desserts are a must have. Take one home if you're too full from your meal. Some of our favorite foods are the Bananas Foster French Toast, the Shrimp and Grits, and any of the crepes.
Fantastic Easter Brunch, becoming a family tradition when we make it to Myrtle Beach for Spring Break.
Food was good. Little pricey for breakfast however. Family of four $68 plus tip ($80)
