Croissants Bistro and Bakery
Perfect for Sunday brunch. The food was delicious!
This is our favorite place to frequent when we are in town - delicious food & great service!
Love this restaurant
The coffee choices, menu choices, service and atmosphere were exactly what we were looking for. The food/dessert/coffee were excellent!! Very tasty and very fresh food here! The quiche, salad, bananas foster we would highly recommend. Excellent cappuccino!! The antioxidant smoothie was perfect and just enough banana without it overwhelming the drink which, has been the experience many times when ordering in other establishments. Croissants makes it just right! Next time we will need to leave room for dessert!! The dessert case has many great choices and it will be a tough decision...
I highly recommend & cannot wait to return.!!!
As far as the food yes if they were someone that I knew good service was Important to then No.. I asked for my wine with my lunch. And she brought it right out One of the girls took it back and asked them to keep it chilled for me. Another guest asked 3 times for boxes and a bag . No one checked back once we got our lunch. We were all hospitality workers and maybe we just look for a little bit more then some. Again the food was wonderful.
This is hard to comment on because when we arrived for our reservation, service was being held at Hook and Barrel, which is the restaurant next door. :( The take out bakery was open for Croissants Bistro but sit down service was not available. The menu was Hook and Barrel's not Croissants. We found items to order and they were good, and service was good. We were just were expecting a difference restaurant with a different menu.
We celebrated my best friends birthday here with lunch. It was friendly, food came out fast and delicious and it was wonderful! I'd definitely recommend this wonderful restaurant..
Great breakfast, especially pimento cheese grits.
It's been well over a year since I've been to Croissants. As was always the case, I was not disappointed. I took two friends who had never been before, and they were very pleased with the whole experience. We had a wonderful waitress, the food was delicious, and the desserts we brought home were to die for.
Outstanding food, service, & atmosphere.
So long, pancake houses on Hwy 17 - we’ve found an absolute Gem in Croissants!!
Nice option for breakfast or brunch. Good menu with moderate pricing. There was a crowd today so service was slow but friendly. Fine for our leisurely morning meal. Pastries and desserts are awesome!
Last year we went to Croissants during restaurant week and had outstanding shrimp and grits. The flavor was kind of Smokey and well-spiced. This year we went for the same meal and it was disappointing. The dish was bland and there was no smokiness or zip in the grits. It wasn’t a bad dish, it just wasn’t praiseworthy. I thought I was told last year that they smoked the grits, but the servers were too New to know if the recipe changed.
We were there for Restaurant Week. The shrimp and grits were very good. The French onion soup was excellent (the best I’ve ever had). Fro our last course we had the vanilla frosting cake. The frosting was delicious but the cake was dry. We have had it 4 times before and it was always excellent. We took it home, as we usually do so we could not tell the management. We also purchased a salted caramel brownie which was divine! We will dine here again.
Meal chosen from restaurant week menu: french onion soup, shrimp and grits and raspberry mousse cake for dessert, absolutely scrumptious!! Never fails to impress!!
Always a great experience! Friendly staff, amazing food, and delicious pastries! The make your own blood mary bar on Sundays is fantastic!
We went for Breakfast with Santa and it was great! Food was delicious, service was attentive, and Santa was great!
Absolutely delicious and excellent service!!! Plus to learn they can ship coffee and their homemade granola is amazing. The food is Devine!!!
Food was amazing and everyone was very nice!
Favorite spot for brunch at the Beach.
We loved our brunch and highly recommend! We plan to go back and sample more of the home made offerings!
Croissant’s, as usual, served an outstanding brunch! My wife and I absolutely love the Madame Croque and the kids sit perfectly still for the chocolate chip pancakes. The service was, and always is, impeccable. Cheers!
The food was amazing as always. This was not my first time here, and wanted to bring some friends for their first time that were visiting from out of town. There were 7 of us and we had an 11 am reservation. Our brunch took two hours, it took 50 mins just to get our appetizer of fried green tomatoes. We watched tables come, get their food and go before we got ours. Just a little disappointed in the lengthy visit.
I have visited this restaurant with my mother, who lives in the area, on many occasions. This made it a good place to have family members gather for her 88th birthday brunch. Upon arriving, I was challenged by the staff as to whether I had a reservation which I had made on Open Table. I was asked to show the email confirmation, which I did. This was embarrassing and took some time. We were told that another reservation had been made by someone with the same first name, for 4, not 7 as mine was, and they were confused. We were asked to wait for a table and were sent off to a hall to wait. We got two tables, separated by an aisle so that we could not sit together. None of the family live in Myrtle Beach except my mother, and we were deprived of being able to be at the same table together. This was very unfortunate and the staff did nothing to help. If anything, they were antagonistic and unwilling to accept fault for having seated the wrong party at my reserved table.
Heuvos rancheros exceptional!
I have to say that I was disappointed when we took our adult daughter to Croissants for lunch yesterday. I chose it as I had been there before and thought she would really enjoy it. We each ordered sandwiches. Even though we were one table of two that were in there, service was very slow. Our server kept disappearing into the kitchen for long periods of time and when she emerged she did not even look our way, I had to wave to get her attention each time we needed her. My daughter ordered the crabcake sandwich which she said was just ok, the crab was not lump crab but rather the stringy brown part of the crab. My husband got the Croque Madame which he said was very good. I got the chicken salad as they note on the menu it is very popular. The chicken salad was very dry, little to no mayo, nothing else except I found a stray piece of celery. I tried to get our server's attention to bring me some mayo but that took 10 minutes as she never came back to ask us if our food was ok. Even with adding some mayo it was very bland. The house made chips were ok, I liked that they were waffled but they were overcooked and greasy. I liked the little sweet salad they gave as a freebie with the meal but both my husband and daughter didn't like it due to the marshmallows and coconut it had in it. We decided to order some dessert for her birthday cake as they have these beautiful looking cakes in the display as you come in. We had a very difficult time finding our server and then getting her attention to take our order for the dessert. We ordered the 3 cake sampler. Two out of the three cakes were very dry like they had been sitting there for quite a while. The server cut off the end that had been exposed from previous cutting and actually had the nerve to serve that to us. It was hard and dry. Overall I spent $70 for lunch and was embarrassed to bring my daughter there for her birthday.
Great eggs Benedict and wonderful quinoa salad with shrimp. With reservations, we got seated right away
Awesome brunch spot!!! Good was delicious and service was fast and friendly.
We had a reservation for 3 people for 9:15 AM on a Sunday morning. There were only 2 tables occupied. Got there right on time, hostess had trouble finding our reservation - if she ever found it I don't know. There was no table set up for 3 people so we had to wait till that was done.
Croissants were listed on the menu as being part of what we each ordered. We didn't get them. It was our first time dining there so we thought we had misread the menu. However, a few minutes later a worker from behind the pastry came and asked us if we wanted croissants. We each said yes and got them. They were cold as if taken out of a refrigerator and they were not fresh.
The ham and brie omelets did not have the have that incorporated into the omelets; instead it was in the fold over of the omelet and the cheese wasn't melted. The breakfast sausage was very good.
Our breakfast was very disappointing. Considering the lackluster decor, high prices, mediocre meal and fair service, we will not be going back.
We have eaten at both several times. Having a reservation was a good idea. Twice their cinnamon rolls were sold out, so this time I asked for 2 to be held for our arrival. Once we got there, they were confused about where the cinnamon rolls were. They did find them. The waitress was not the best, but the food was great!
Amazing service and great setting! We surprised our parents with a special Sunday brunch to celebrate their wedding anniversary on a recent family vacation. Food was great and the service was fantastic. Would highly recommend.
I loved the menu options, the chicken and waffles and acai berry bowl were delicious, and our waitress brought out complimentary pineapple orange muffins which were delightful! Great ambiance and pastry selections
Excellent restaurant! We were in town for five days and at three meals here! The food was outstanding! Everything we tried was excellent-- tasty, flavorful, creative, great portions. The Dutch style pancakes were out of this world! The restaurant was clean and service was quick and friendly. Our server, Dakota, was attentive, remembered us between visits and was quick to refill our drinks and help us. As we left Myrtle Beach we said, "We'll miss the ocean and Croissants the most!"
Excellence to the tee!! Always great food, genuine smiling faces serving, and quick timing as well for food..
Very great service but the food could have had more seasoning.
Only complaint is had to wait 20 minutes past reservation time
The food was outstanding! I had shrimp & grits and my gf had brie crepes. It was her birthday and we had a great carrot cake cupcake. The location is surprising but inside was lovely and quiet. I'll be going back many times!
Food and service were great. Our waitress was very pleasant.
I made a reservation for 12 noon. Arrived at 11:50. Was sat quickly. Sat there for 15 minutes before we our oder was taken. Told server we were o our lunch and had to get this going. Another 20 minutes go by and we reminded the server we needed our order. We got served properly 5 minutes later.
Chicken salad was ehhh. Butternut soup was delish. Pasta salad was really ugly, brown dressing? Really not appetizing at all.
Was I impressed on my 1st visit? No Will I return? Probably not. There was nothing that mKes me want to. Sadly, but true.
Service was extremely slow. It appeared to be just our waitress as she would disappear for long periods of time making us wait 15-20 minutes to place our order and not refilling empty water glasses until we got our check. Food was mostly good although my omelet was lacking taste.
