Exceptional waitress. Theresa!
I can’t even describe how wonderful, fresh, original the food was. You’ll just have to experience it yourself. The pork chop was absolutely an amazing creation.
The food is just incredible, I mean out of this world great. The owner is also incredibly hospitable. You actually can’t go anywhere else in LIC even though there are so many choices. Tiger shrimp appetizer is unreal, as was salad, fois gras and husband’s monkfish.
I had a wonderful brunch at Crescent Grill! The food came quickly, the servers were super attentive, and the drinks were fresh and delicious. I can't wait to go back and brave their bottomless brunch special :)
Where do I start? Well, Crescent Grill is a place you come across or specifically look for to find. But when you do, the food is exceptionally good, the service is good and if you live in the area they have a complimentary round trip car service. Yes. Hard to believe but it’s great. This restaurant does not get enough credit for how great it is and I totally recommend it.
Excellent, as always!! The best brunch food and cocktails in the area!!!
enjoyed brunch here, make reservation as they get packed during brunch.
staff were great, food was amazing and boozy brunch deal is good.
would come back if in the area
Everything about this place was outstanding. The food was delicious. We tried several appetizers, two entrees, and dessert. Great flavors all around. Very pleased with the local beer options as well. Both our server and the chef were extremely pleasant and friendly.
Really good food and nice service. Definitely recommend it!
Everything about this place is a reason to go check it out! Just try it, you’ll come back. (Especially for those dinner rolls)
The Restaurant is very pretty and CLEAN! the staff could not do more for you if they could. excellent service. And the food was soooooooooooooooooo delicious. We were there for Valentine's Day and the prepared menu was perfect ! we will certainly go back again.
Long Island Duck was fantastic! Ambience was average.
We always have a great time at Crescent Grill! The food is always delicious and the staff is very attentive! Perfect!
Our server was a bit too much (easdropped and then offered her own opinion on what we were saying). Kinda made the entire experience a bit awkward, especially since the food was obviously top notch (very small portions, but delicious).
Food is amazing. Service is excellent. Wish they would expand the wine list a bit, but corkage fee is very reasonable.
Not into coconut shrimp swimming in some kind of weird sauce ..two shrimp..pork chop was fatty
This place never fails, it’s a neighborhood gem!
My girlfriend and I had a great experience at Crescent Grill. We made reservations for NYE and were treated by the warm and welcoming staff to an amazing dinner. They also offer a shuttle service to and from the restaurant which is something I had never heard a restaurant do. Their attention to detail and customer service is outstanding and we’ll definitely return!
Great time. Only reason it isn’t a 5/5 is that the coconut shrimp they had that night wasn’t as good as I’d want it to be.
The food was delicious, the presentation was beautiful and the service was attentive without being overbearing. Highly recommend you check out this hidden gem!!
My wife and I celebrated our last night in New York and it was everything we expected. Great food, wine and services.
Unfortunately the restaurant ran out of the brunch special fairly early on so we had to split it three ways to be able to all try it. Otherwise an excellent experience, as always.
This is a wonderful little gem which will probably not remain under the radar much longer. All that construction in LIC has to end at some point and when it does this place will become much more visible on the dining map. From the incredible offer of free pickup-return to hotel to the friendly (and skilled) bartender, from the limited but thoroughly adequate menu, to the service throughout, Crescent Grill deserves your attention. The thick, perfectly cooked pork chop was just as ordered, not undercooked but perfectly prepared so it was easy to cut and not dry. Accompanying vegetables were similarly well-prepared. The soup of potato, oysters, and caviar was a bit disappointing...too much salt and lemon and not served hot. The rabbit pappardelle was very tasty, nice pasta included, but again a bit too much salt. The bread served before main courses arrived is beyond delicious!
We (a group of professional women) strive to dine at Crescent Grill at least once a quarter. The menu never ceases to amaze us: the chef takes the best of what the season and local markets have to offer and comes up with the most delicious creations. We’re already planning our next visit, even though we were just there. Hats off to the Dougherty brothers!
The food is very good and the service overall is above average, but by far the best part of the restaurant is Kristen's service. I go semi-regularly for Sunday brunch -- sometimes with large gaps of time between visits -- and no matter whether I come with one person just for a bite or with a large group for bottomless brunch, she is warm, enthusiastic, and always makes sure our glasses are filled and our food is to our liking. Very good place as-is, and Kristen takes it from very good to excellent.
We had a great meal at Cresent Grill! We were staying in Long Island City and didn’t fancy heading back into Manhattan for dinner. The staff were friendly and the food and wine was delicious!
Casual, really high quality food/ prep/ presentation that was all very tasty ; i can't think of anything that could be improved. The portions were very generous and was based on seasonal availability. We found this place since Deleware and Hudson closed and was looking for similar experience. Had the Fois Gras and duck breast and it was just delicious . Very low key relaxed atmosphere. Service was caring and friendly.
The appetizers, entrees, and dessert were all exceptional. Our server was knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. The owner, Sean, came to our table and spent some time chatting with us, the experience at the Crescent Grill was great !!
The waitress was nice, but one of the staff interrupted our dinner several times about a parking space, which would have been less had he come with all of the details (license plate, color of car, etc.). The advertised menu on their website was no longer in use. The menu itself was very limited. I purchased a $25 veggie plate that should have been no more than $5-7. The best part about dinner was catching up with my friend and the nice waitress. I wouldn’t recommend this spot for a real dinner.
Hidden in the LIC/Astoria industrial area but so good. Delicious food, well made and high quality. Friendly staff and they provide a free shuttle service to the surrounding area. Definitely worth stopping by when you are in the area.
Fabulous all around
Lovely dining experience. Unusual, very tasty food with great attention to detail. Warm, caring service. Fair prices for quality and generous portions.
A real Avis restaurant....trying very hard to be number one.
We both had the smoked duck and both agreed that it was one of the best meal we'd ever had! The food here is exceptional. Creative without being overly precious.
I love the Crescent Grill! The food is just delicious. We went for brunch and loved it! Loved the $20 limitless mimosas. We took the waitresses suggestion and tried every fruit in the (mimosa) fruit bowl!
We had a wonderful experience! Our waiter/bartender was very friendly and engaging! Our food was wonderful and hot! Definitely will recommend and will return if ever we get the chance!
Excellent, service, atmosphere, music, food, wine,
This was the second time and it was just as good as the first. The food and service were excellent!
Love that that they built a restaurant in that part of LIC. So needed. Very friendly servers, but the hostess could use a little training. Seems like they’re still finding their groove, but the food was incredible. Clearly seasonal and overall creative interpretations. I’d definitely give it another try. A little trouble with their free shuttle, but that’s a crazy bonus anyways. Keep on, Crescent Grill!
Great brunch, will be back!!!
