Crescent City Steak House
Caesar with Steak Tenders
Wrapped in bacon
Great food great service wonderful atmosphere. Mainly locals❤️⚜️
Dinner was delicious as usual.
As always, an absolutely lovely dining experience. Our dinner was flawless.
I ordered the surf and turf, with cream spinach! It was the best food I’ve ever had!
The waiter was not friendly at all. He did, however, get every part of our order completely correct. The family loved their steaks. Each steak was cooked exactly as it was ordered. The side dishes and desserts were amazing. The restaurant was quite loud.
All in all it was a very positive experience and the food is worth going for.
We enjoyed our dining experience with our only complaint being the steak was warm not hot.
We do plan to return to give it another try.
Always a favorite place to eat when I am in town. Delicious steaks and wonderful service.
Ruth Chris prices for Western Sizzlers food. Noise level was so high that the waiter could not hear our orders. Unable to carry on a conversation with others at the small four place table due to the noise We where there approximately one hour that felt like two hours
Don’t waste your time or money going to this place
I felt for the price the food should have been 10 times better. The steak was not seasoned and didn’t taste like steak but rather it tasted like a roast. I arrived for a 6:30 reservation with 4 other parties who had reservations at the same time and none of us were seated on time. The hostess was rude to anyone who called. Our waiter was amazing though so perhaps it was an off night because of the two large parties they had. Regardless, for the price the experience should have been much better.
The ribeye I had was just okay. Not really seasoned at all. The side dishes were small and the waiters need to have on clean shirts. It was not a very pleasant scene having a waiter who's shirt looks like it hasn't been washed in week.
I love this place. There’s a bit of the speakeasy to it. The food is excellent and the service is fantastic. Just attentive enough especially for a great pace that so busy. My one thing was the table cloths. I’m not sure if it’s because of Covid or what but they look like over sized dinner napkins, were actually barely able to cover the table, thin, and upside down. I believe I remember them to be much thicker and quite lush. But maybe I’m remembering wrong.
Steak was great! The salad left alot to be desired!
Fantastic food, well-rounded steakhouse selection on the menu, genuinely courteous staff, and that unique old school New Orleans spirit. I don't have time to relax and eat out often these days, and this house goes out of their way to make your meal feel special. And the dry aged steaks certainly don't hurt.
The kitchen never lets us down! Servers are magnificent, we love the old tile floor and pressed tin ceiling and the small dining room. We love everything about the place. The new manager is an oily little weirdo who kept moving chairs and had no purpose other than that.
It is not fine dining and that is ok. It is a locals steakhouse with a down-to-earth vibe. My wife's filet was very good but my ribeye was average at best. The sides were just ok.
Terrible, spend your hard earned money somewhere else! This place sucks on every level!!!!
Awesome as always! See you again soon!
Wanted to eat outside the French Quarter and am so glad we did!
The food was great.
Some how they lost our food order. We had wait over hour and half get our food. Manger was very rude. Had no business being in that position. Then when food come. All but one steak 🥩 was cook right. A lot of sides was cold too.
The service was excellent and the food was a great value. We had the onion rings, a filet, a ribeye, and au gratin broccoli and potatoes. Everything was seasoned well and cooked to temperature.
They need a remodel badly, very very outdated decor.
Meet and intro couple to each other. Great time. Anthony is our usual server.
OMG this place was so out dated. The floors, tables, bathrooms, light fixtures, all of it was disappointing. The kitchen even looked dirty. By the time we saw the kitchen it was on our way out and we had already eaten. I had seen this beforehand I would’ve left immediately. I’m sorry I’m not going to knowingly eat from a dirty kitchen. The steak was cooked to my liking so I guess that’s something. The spinach au gratin had no taste, the onion rings tasted as though the grease was old. I will not be back. If it was just one or two minor flaws I’d try them again but nope they will not get any more of my hard earned money.
Our server and bus person were very attentive and were very knowledgeable when we asked questions regarding the menu.
The food was exceptional, including appetizers, sides and of course the main feature, the steaks 🥩
Would highly recommend to anyone who has not been there before to definitely go
We had not been back to Crescent City Steakhouse in more than a year. It was like meeting an old friend again. The decor hadn't changed and the food was as delicious as ever! We would definitely and highly recommend Crescent City for a real taste of a classic New Orleans neighborhood restaurant.
I love this historic restaurant and should go more often. It is a helluva a place full of happy locals and with a cheerful staff. Skip dessert though...it wasn't made on the premises.
Daughters bday. Steaks were wonderful & cooked perfectly per order, side dishes and appetizers were delicious, service was excellent, ambiance is always good, never felt rushed by the waiter (which I truly appreciate). Plenty of parking & table ready right on time.
As always crescent city steakhouse delivered.Great steaks and service. A true piece of New Orleans culture.
We enjoyed our steak selections including the Filet and Sirloin. The salad and sides were a bit disappointing.
The Caesar Salad was pretty bland. Iceberg lettuce with a salad oil that did not appear to be Caesar. Could add some effort to the Caesar. Sauteed Mushrooms were a tad watery. The main course was satisfying and will give Crescent a try again!!
Fabulous dinner! Can’t wait to return.
All of our steaks were way undercooked, almost raw. Disappointing for a steak restaurant that should know temperature.
sides need an up-grade,,portions on sides too small,,only 4 shrimp with my shrimp cocktail
Pulling into the parking lot I thought, "whole in the wall place" I walked in and was like "hole in the wall". As soon as we saw down and looked around I realized I was in for a treat. Service, atmosphere, food was all AMAZING!! Definitely worth the money!
Food was good but not what I thought was going to be, the service omg my server pull the water all over me place was laud every one was screaming
The service was amazing. Our waiters name was Robert and he took very good care of us. My family and I always try to make an effort to go to crescent City steakhouse and have been doing so for years. We brought a friend with us who doesn’t particularly care for steak and she enjoyed it so much she keeps asking when we will go back! I highly recommend anyone try it!
Really great value for a steakhouse combined with top notch food. And the old school atmosphere is great too.
The absolute best, we had the best time and be sure to add the Bordelaise to your side order!
Attentive staff, food delicious as always, drinks good, great ambiance. Ready to go back!!
Everything was wonderful
