Crescent City Steak House
Wrapped in bacon
Every time we go here to eat we enjoy our experience- good food good servic
Wonderful service and food
Tonight was horrible. Haven't been here in years and wanted to go tonight. Gathered 2 other couples and EVERYTHING that could go wrong.... did.
Was never offered bread for the table however watched as other tables were receiving bread before dinner. Drinks were slow as our waitress didn't offer very often.
Ok moving on. Ordered our food then noticed that other guest that arrived well after we did was being served their entrees.
When we asked about our food she apologized but said she doesn't know what's taking so long. One of my guest knew a manager he asked him about our food he stated it's second in line and it's coming. He had no answer as to why others were eating before us. So then the food FINALLY comes and it's sub par. Cold lobster tails etc.
Needless to say. We won't be back. Im very visible on open table and eat out weekly. I rarely leave negative reviews but this.... this needs attention.
It was amazing I will definitely be going back 10 out of 10
Beautiful experience no frills steakhouse dining. We love this New Orleans classic
Only reason lower points is noise level was way to high.
We go to Crescent City fairly often. This time, it was after a Saints game. It's fun to go there after a Saints game, especially when the Saints win. Even though we lost, the energy in Crescent City was fairly high. The food was ok. The onion rings were a little undercooked and not salted at all. The steaks were good and at perfect temperature, but the side dishes were room-temperature cold for all 5 people in our party. I know it was busy, but that shouldn't happen. The service was lacking. It took forever to get a drink. One of our party ordered a glass of wine and by the time she got it, was half done with her meal. I realize that they are short-handed because of COVID and Ida, so they get a pass this time.
Crescent City has amazing food, service, and atmosphere!
When we pulled in and parked, we were happy to see a security guard patrolling the parking lot. We walked in and waited several minutes before anyone came to greet us. The hostess did not see our reservation in the book. She asked if it was an Open Table reservation, which we confirmed. Then she found it pretty quickly, saying she wrote it down but wasn't sure where? So she sat us, but forgot to tell the server because we waited for over 15 minutes before the hostess came back by to ask if anyone had come to help us yet. The tables are fairly close meaning we got bumped into several times. They have private booths - which we requested - but since our reservation was overlooked, the booths were all full. We ordered iced teas, garlic bread, and caesar salads to begin. The garlic bread never came. The tea tasted old, so we ordered a coke instead. The salads were simple but good. We then ordered a filet and ribeye along with potatoes au gratin and sautéed asparagus. The ribeye was undercooked, otherwise the food was great. The steaks and potatoes were the highlight. The service was fine, except the missing garlic bread. We figured she just forgot it and the other food came pretty quickly, so we didn't mention it. The check came and we were charged for teas and the coke, as well as the garlic bread that never came. After letting her know about the missing bread, she apologized and took it off the ticket saying "oh that's too bad, the garlic bread goes great with the caesar salad!" 😑 Overall, the food is good and the service is ok. However, for those prices the food and service should be excellent and they just were not. Probably won't be back.
Everything was wonderful
It’s was great
Good food and drinks. Excellent service. I loved the intimate ambience and atmosphere. Very nice private booths for couples or families.
Great food, excellent service, friendly people, great bar and wine selections
Delicious steak and excellent service! A real treat !
Best steak in city. Excellent service and ambiance. Reasonably priced. Never have been disappointed.
The beat steakhouse all around in NOLA!
As always the food was delicious and the service impeccable.
The food is always excellent here. We had a great meal, great steaks, wonderful side dishes and great service!
Food was excellent. Service was quick! I’m from Chicago and I will definitely be back to this restaurant
Amy was a great waitress!!! She receives “ high” praises!
It was a delightful evening with friends!
It was a birthday celebration . Our experience at Cresent City was fabulous
Excellent best steak ever!! Everyone went above and beyond.
Classic old school New Orleans Steak House, great service and even better food!!
It had been years since my husband and I went. The service was outstanding. The place was pretty full but it was not loud. I highly recommend this steakhouse!
I always have a great time with friends as we enjoy delicious steaks and food along with wonderful service. I most highly recommend this charm of old New Orleans.
A New Orleans classic, Crescent City Steak House is among my favorite restaurants. The steaks are always cooked to perfection and the value is unmatched. It's a step back in time when you visit because Anthony and his family treat you like you are dining in the family kitchen. I highly recommend Crescent City.
we started with onion rings, because everyone should...
she had the cosmo and i had the manhattan, good bartenders here...
i had the t bone medium and my wife had the rib eye medium both were
sizzled perfection and purely delectable...
we shared the lyonnaise potatoes and shoestring as sides...they make tasty potatoes so many ways...hard to choose...
the tummy got all full, we had to get the cheesecake to go, what a breakfast treat that was....
the staff is friendly and helpful, but remember this is new orleans, don't get in a hurry, you'll just get indigestion...
take it easy....🙃⚜🥃
Another wonderful dinner! Extra size filet had rich flavor, cut perfectly tender!
Service was amazing! The atmosphere is intimate with a nice old school vibe. The private booth with curtains made my night special! The food was PHENOMENAL! Best steak I’ve ever had.
Great place! Awesome Food and Awesome Service!
The waitress was very nice so I tipped her well. The steaks were not to great. I wasn’t to happy with the food nor the lady who was basically trying to make me keep a tough steak I ordered for my niece. Tried it once and will not return.
Good food for the price. Drawn butterfly Lobster way too salty. Average quality for price.
As always the atmosphere was warm and inviting.
The staff friendly and efficient although based on the delays between the delivery of the appetizers and the entrees the kitchen was short staffed.
Started with the onion rings. A little bland. Breading not the best. Garlic bread was good.
The steaks were delayed for a long period of time but were delicious. Among the best you’ll ever eat
Especially the filet.
Try the German fries. They are excellent.
lovely evening with my husband :)
Waitress was excellent
Lobster tail was huge and the steak was amazing old school steakhouse loved it
Very relaxed, enjoyable experience. Food was great and attention was excellent.
We had a good time because you can always people watch but the waiter was brand new and a bit hesitant.
It’s a classic!!!
The most disappointing dinner in New Orleans. I swear, they reheated our meal with a microwave. Porterhouse should not have a funky taste. Our server was good, try to make things better, but you just can't fix bad preparation.
