Went for Tuesday Moules-Frites (Mussels and Fries). We tried all the sauces and really liked the classic white wine and the Dijon. I was disappointed by the fries as they were wedges instead of the thin fries that you usually get in Belgium. It is $25 all you can eat which we heartily attempted! Good fun for cuisine you don't often see in the US. Service was delightfully French.
The dessert crêpes were amazing, would definitely recommend!
Had to wait about half hour for a group of 8 reservations, so I would say that started off on a bad footing. When we actually got seated, service was fine. Food was good.
Delicious food, very nice staff and reasonable prices.
The fondue is very tasty, and I lived my smoked trout salad. Dad said his clam chowder was great too. It was a lovely lunch. We will be back.
Went there for Mothers Day special with my daughter. We started with cheese fondue & I had the filet mignon risotto. It was all tasty but the risotto had a port sauce so was rather sweet. But overall, it was wonderful!

The prix fix NYE dinner was a great value at $45. The filet mignon was incredibly tender and delicious. The portion was so generous, we each had some to take home. The dessert crepes are so good too!
Went for New Years Eve dinner. Had regular menu plus a special three course menu. Very good food and service and Bruno, the owner, is just terrific. Can't wait to return.
The crepes are great but so are the other choices on the menu, which is surprisingly varied for a "crepe place."
This is my 3rd visit to the restaurant in the past 2 months. I come often for business trips to LA. The restaurant French cuisine and food has never disappointed. My challenge is to eat the crepes or the lamb hash, can't decide sometimes because they are so delicious. The food is ample and the waitresses are very friendly. Most American restaurants, the waitresses are conditioned to interrupt you as often as possible because they are trying to get you to finish quickly. I appreciate the casual atmosphere and opportunity to enjoy good food, good conversation, and good times at this place.
Had to wait over 45 mins for our order. Obvious they forgot it as table that arrived after we ordered got their food first. But they refused to admit it. Frenchies, ugh.

We wanted a light meal and the tomato-basil soup and dessert crepes were perfect. The Crepe Suzette is memorable. Our server was on her own with most tables full and she managed to keep everyone happy. We will come back.
I've dined at Creme de la Crepe in HB and RB several times. The food is good but no where near great. The price is reasonable.
The atmosphere is very quaint. It is a small space with a european flair. The food is delicious and the wine list does not disappoint. It is fairly popular during weekend brunch hours, which just shows how great this place is. Locals are regulars and are familiar with the owner, who greets everyone as if they were a close friend :) will definitely be returning soon!
New Year's Eve prix fix dinner was very good. Nice choices and quite tasty. Wonderful neighborhood restaurant.

Apparently there was a lack of communication between the server and the person in charge of reservation through opentable. Luckily there was people leaving when we got there but they weren't aware of any of the reservations. The server was "ok" had to request water twice and it basically lack the service I am use to at other restaurants in the beach cities like Hook and Plow, Abigaile's, Dia de Campo, Fishing with Dynamite, etc.
Terrific French theme food in a casual beach atmosphere. The escargots are a must as are the all-you-can-eat mussels on Tuesdays.
Food was great but the service was really poor. They kept forgetting our order and had to come back. It took 20 minutes to order and another 10 minutes just for water. I made a reservation on open table but when we arrive the restaurant had no clue that we had a reservation and clearly they had no tables set/ reserved for a party of 5. We had to wait another 15 minutes for them to open a table for us.
A great little place along the beach. The food was prepared very well without being overdone. Will definitely go back again!
We spent the weekend in Hermosa Beach, so we booked reservation at Crème de la Crepe per reviews on Open Table. No problems getting a reservation and later changing it to a later time. The café is quiet small and intimate. We ordered the carrot soup which was amazing, so delicious and creamy. We also ordered crepes which were ok not great. Crepe was thick and gooey so we ate the inside which was fine. There were only two servers working on a busy Saturday night. They did an amazing job handling busy tables, yet they seemed somewhat stressed. Overall a positive experience, plan to return to the soup.
I had gluten free savory crepes Parisienne, was very good. View was great, sweet little bar, very nice staff. Not 100% sure everything was gluten free, but everything was very nice and delicious.
For years I have wanting to try this place. Finally we made it. The food was very good for a fair price. We didn't get to eat outside because it was raining that day, a rare occurrence in Hermosa Beach. I want to go back and try it again, next time outside.

Previously, I never had crepes that weren't dessert. So, we weren't really sure what to expect. We were completely surprised! The food is awesome! Creme de la Crepé is a *very* small, romantic restaurant. Small, well stocked bar. The server was great. Very attentive. The kitchen/server timing was perfect between appetizers and the main course. We didn't have room for dessert, but they sounded amazing.
They have a few outside tables to do some people watching.
I would classify this as a Hermosa Beach hidden gem.
Went there for bunch, made a reservation. When we arrived, we indicated we had a reservation, said to wait a few minutes for our table. We were seated at the table and about to order when a manager came over and indicated that they thought we were someone else and had sat us at the wrong table and that we needed to move. We found it very uncomfortable and rude but we complied. Food was good, service was fair but moving our party in the middle of brunch left a bad taste in our mouth. For an establishment with 10 or so tables, really annoying.
Wonderful crepe's and options, plus the Carbinera is excellent. Reasonable corkage fee, the desert crepes are excellent as well. The standard Crepe's Suzette was on of the best and is brought to the table flaming. Highly recommended.
Just walking by on Pier Avenue in Hermosa Beach, I kept thinking I should try this restaurant. Looking on Open Table a few days later, I noticed it online and made the reservation! Wife loved her crepe, while I enjoyed a pasta dish and a glass of wine. The restaurant is open-air towards the street and made for great people watching. Small location made for an cozy feel.
This was a wonderful find! Don't be fooled by the stereotypical name; this is an authentic French place! The staff are all from France and they created a really European atmosphere. My husband and I were even able to practice our French with our server. The food was delicious, the service was fast, and it was like sitting in a cafe in Paris all over again. We will definitely be back the next time we come to L.A.
I had walked by this place million times, but had never been. The food is just like an authentic French bistro. I will be back many times over.
The place is small not ideal for big groups, however, we had 8 people in our group & the manager went out of his way to make us comfortable. The food was great. The creeps were to die for. The service was prompt even though the place was full. We really enjoyed our dicing exoerience.

Having made a reservation on Open Table, and received the confirmation, it was disappointing to get to the restaurant and be told they didn't have a booking in their system. Apparently, the "Owner/Manager" hadn't told that store about the booking.
As it happened, there were space for us, so everything worked out ok.
