Creekview is ideal for a large or small gatherings. Customers know they are getting always-good meals in a special location next to Ellicott Creek. It's a good, reliable place to bring out-of-town visitors. Only problem for this somewhat-deaf senior is the noise-level once the place fills up. Nevertheless, I would recommend Creekview every time. It's a Williamsville tradition.
Food was of good quality......I thought that the price for the broiled shrimp was a little overpriced for five shrimp and a scoop of mashed potatoes
The best New England chowder anywhere, even better than in New England! Very good fish fry, but this time my mash potatoes came cold😒 We have always enjoyed going there. However, the noise level on the lower level near the creek has now become completely impossible. When you have to cup your hands and shout to your wife who is sitting across the table so she can hear you, this creates a very unpleasant environment!!! Also, on this particular night, we had to wait 50 minutes before my fish fry dinner came. This is unusual, but along with the ridiculously high noise level, the overall experience was very unfavorable.
We went to the Creekview for Easter Dinner. We did not know there was a limited holiday menu. We were placed at a table with a nice view of the creek, but we were right next to a door and it was very cold. Our server was very pleasant and nice, but our food took forever to get to us. So long so that 3 bread baskets were brought to the table during the long wait. All the other tables sat with or after us were done and out before we were. Apologies were made for the wait, but no notion of 'we'll cover the kids' gelato for the inconvenience', just 'sorry'. There were 5 of us and the bill was well over $300 so not a cheap meal. The pork tenderloin was not good at all either.
Very good experience. Waitress was very attentive, food came in a timely fashion. Very nice setting.
The only negatives would be: For a holiday, it probably would have been more practical to have two people working the hostess stand. Despite having reservations, it took quite a while to be seated because the hostess was, assumingly, seating others. Also, the bathroom is single stall only, for a relatively large amount of people.
Great food and great atmosphere. Our server was pleasant yet slow to respond with bringing drinks, bread and checking on our table once our meal arrived. Overall a good experience and we would return again.
I like the restaurant
I had the open chicken souvlaki salad. It was really good except that the lettuce was crunchy (like dirt). This has happened before. I think the lettuce needs to be washed better.
First time there, cute place. The service was okay, food good. They could really use some ambiance lighting in the dinning room closest to the creek. During the winter months, it's a bit dark in the evening with only two ceiling light fixtures. Maybe add some candles or lights to the tables, as it's a bit difficult to read the menu.
Bar was very crowded and difficult to maneuver .
Food quality was very good and table service was very good considering it was difficult to move around due to very close tables .
Parking was very restricted due to inordinate amount of "tow zone" signs in most spots .
Overall ,the food and service was good but difficult bar access and parking will make a return trip not high on our list .
we love the Creekview- have been going there for 35 years- our go to restaurant with friends
Great food and friendly service
Megan and Jessica are excellent servers. The chef is excellent, too!
Third time there just a great place. Friendly staff. Good food and good drinks. Gonna make it a regular stop for sure.
Great Place...i feel sorry for the waiters coming out of the kitchen with the restrooms right there....it's so small...too bad something can't be done about that! Other than that....absolutely no complaints...great place
Good casual dinner with a nice but not unusual menu. The coconut cream pie is very good!
Celebrating a milestone birthday and they forgot the cake.
We have never been disappointed at the Creekview and we go regularly! Excellent food and ambiance - ask for a patio table,
Took my wife out to dinner and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal and the service. Thanks!
Always great food and service at a reasonable price.
Creekview is always comfortable and a great place to meet...The food is also very good. Sometimes when hamburgers are ordered, they are delivered well-done when rare or medium rare is asked for. But, the other night was perfect...just have to really be emphatic with the server...and hope for the best!
Creekview was wonderful as usual.
Everyone enjoyed their meal and our server was nice and attentive.
Had the Beef On Weck. While it was tasty the meat needed to be sliced thinner and no Au Jus was served with it. Not the best Beef on Weck in Buffalo. My wife's dinner was very good. We would go back, but may not order the same meal unless they fix it.
Excellent food and a nice place to have dinner on Friday night. We were in the room next to the bar so the noise was a little. Have sat in the other dinning room which is quieter.
The Creekview is a wonderful restaurant; the food is upscale comfort food and hight cuisine, depending on your personal preference. It has the unique quality of a very fine restaurant and at the same time the "feel" of the very best neighborhood tavern. The Creek adds ambience along with the Williamsville village mindset. Thanks for a very nice evening
We ate on porch which had nice ambiance. I had meatloaf which was a disappointment as it was very bland and mushy. I was hoping it would have had onions and green peppers with more texture and flavor. My friend had the beef quesadilla which was great.
Great food as always. The restaurant comped my drink because they felt it took too long for dinner to be served. We never complained, but they did a nice thing
Over cooked the fish dishes my wife and I ordered. Tom & Jerry cocktail was excellent.
My first time at Creek View. Our server was extremely friendly and attentive. Food was great. Extensive drink menu. Live music in the bar area after dinner was a lot of fun. Talented performer. Great night!
Prompt seating, excellent staff , interesting menu
a neighborhood tradition
Each ordered a salad. Both were excellent. Large portions, delicious, and very filling. Would definitely go back.
The winter weather was so cold but it was nice and warm inside with a beautiful view of the creek. I have lived here all my life and Creekview is one of my favorite village restaurants.
We have eaten at the Creekview on New Years Eve several times and enjoyed it so much. Always a wonderful meal, smiling people and the beautiful view of the water running by. It is certainly a neighborhood gem and I would recommend it to anyone, for any occasion!
We've lived in the area almost a year and our Realtor recommended Creekview when we bought our house - Since then we've visited almost weekly and it's always perfect!
Had to ask waitress to order apps and then again for placing dinner orders have worked as a waitress in fine dining. This was unacceptable not overelly busy no excuse for bad service.
It was very loud and the food was mediocre. Haven’t been there in 5 years so we thought we’d give it another shot. Now I remember why I haven’t been there in 5 years. Will not return.
Food is always consistently delicious. We were seated at the time we had reservations for, even during their busy Christmas holiday season. Parking was a little difficult, but at this time, was expected.
We have been dining at the Creekview for 40 years! The atmosphere is always warm, friendly and comfortable. The food just keeps getting better and better! Some of our favorites are the pasta with vodka sauce, fish fry, steak sandwich, and fresh fish specials. Every meal comes with a house salad or soup. The soups are always good and the salad dressings are home-made. They also serve delicious warm bread. We love the Creekview and will be back soon!
The food was very good, service was decent. Our table was tucked in a corner where we were surrounded by electrical outlets, a fire hydrant, and next to a cold door (there was a space heater next to the table) as well. Other than that it was a nice outing with friends and their children.
