This restaurant is never a disappointment. My dinner was brought to me, and the server was very aware that I was having difficulty cutting my pork chops. She came over almost immediately and noticed they were very overdone and asked if they were dry. She took them away, and it take a while to get them back. I had eaten the potato and vegetable by then, so ended up only taking 2 bites out of the chops and wrapped them to go. I think the entire dinner should have been removed from the table and brought back ASAP (took about 10 minutes) The new ones were so much better!
The Creekview was nice. I felt a little insignificant at their check-in area location. It was located in a very busy area. We were placed at a table for six which was 2 small tables pushed together. The tables were NOT level and they did take care of this. I sat on the one side which pinned me to a wall and when everyone at the table was looking at the water view I was unable to see anything. I had a corner of wall...not very pleasant.
We elected to order an appetizer, which turned out to be a mistake. Once we did this we did then place our dinner order, which took forever to come out of the kitchen. The people behind us who sat down after we did were on dessert when our meals arrived. I don't feel it was the waitresses fault, but then I don't know. She could have forgotten to turn the meal order in. Everyone was hungry as it was an eventful day and the wait seemed too long.
A little pricey at $115 for 3 people. 2 drinks and 2 deserts, no appetizers. Good view of creek in side room. Some of the windows have condensation hindering the view.
There were 5 of us for early dinner and we all loved it! Food was outstanding. My 100 year old mother was even complimenting the bus boy on the food. Would recommend to anyone.
First time at this restaurant with my family. We went for Mother's Day and had lunch. I chose this restaurant to do something different as the last few years we went to the same place. This restaurant was great, the service, the food, the value for your money, everything. I appreciate the great experience and will have to try this restaurant again for lunch or dinner outside of a holiday. My mother was very happy with the experience here.
Hard to find a parking spot
Consistency at this neighborhood restaurant has been the hallmark of this establishment for many, many years. Food is generally of good quality, staff very friendly and helpful but food quality has lessened somewhat, the noise factor is significant and in general the entrance and front portion of the establishment are beginning to look tired and in need of upgrading. The waters edge dining room, however, is still as charming as ever.
Need to remodel and update decor, but food always excellent
Service great too
Requested a patio seat for 6...and accommodated us. B'day celebration w/ daughters & spouses from NJ & MD. QUITE impressed. Thanks! Barb & Don Gutowski
My husband has decided this is the best burger in the area! It is always cooked to perfection! The souvlaki salad with grilled chicken( also cooked perfectly)is great
Would highly recommend enjoying the view of the creek
My dinner must have been sitting under heat lamp all dried up! They did offer to make new one but too late my husbands dinner was cold. The female bartender was too busy chatting with friends and drinking wine and proceeded to yell at me that she was all alone. I used to got here every Friday and I will NEVER return!
Always a great place to go. Great food and a nice atmosphere with good service with a smile😁
Out of 4 dinners only one person was disappointed with their dinner. It was a special with shrimp and risotto. The shrimp was good but she left the risotto. She said it had no flavor. Those who had the mussels appetizer thought it was excellent.
It is a great place for a nice relaxing dinner.
I love going to the Creekview for lunch and my recent visit was very good except for the noise level. The music was so loud that the people were speaking at an exaggerated volume, so much so that I couldn't hear the conversation with my associate. This is disappointing since everything else about the restaurant is so nicely done.
Met friends for dinner, our meal was delicious! Like being out on the patio!
Easter with family. However, after having everyone review menu, I was disappointed that there was a special menu, which threw us off.
great restaurant. went on Easter, liked that you could order from the menu and not the usual brunch. they always have vegetarian options or can happily accommodate you. we ate there on Thanksgiving also and it was really good. dessert was excellent, they always have a great selection of pies.
Everything was delicious!! Will definitely be back!!
Always great menu, great service, great decor, great view
I would recommend, if you're looking for bar food & drinks. Although a touch pricey, compared to places of same caliber. I wouldn't recommend the fish fry. Burgers looked good, our waitress was awesome. Big plus is they take reservations and sat us at just about our reservation time. I'll give this place another shot in the future, I'll try some different fare.
Great selection especially of seafood. Attentive service. Perfectly prepared.
Enjoyed our meal of Haddock Parmesan & Liver & Onions ($22 pretty steep for Liver). Last but not least, the Manhattan was done perfectly, but the IPA only 13 0z. or the money.
I was all set to order the taco salad as it was on the "specials" menu, but then saw that the Julianne salad was back on the menu.
It was a very good Julianne salad, Lots of meat and cheese, but not quite like it's predecessor. The "original" one was huge and while this one was a very nice size, it was not as large as the old one.
It is difficult to find a good Julianne salad. They used to be on menus seemingly all over town. I am glad Creekview bought it back.
Casual birthday dinner for my husband. Creekview has always been a go-to restaurant for our family, whether dinner after work or a family celebration due to the consistent high quality of food, excellent service and charming location. B-day dinner was very good for adults and our granddaughter. Our server saved the day with extra cherries in her Shirley Temple 😊.
Only criticism for the dinner was the chicken capricatta which is a panko crusted chicken. The lemon caper sauce is delish but smothered the chicken, taking away much of its panko crunchy goodness. Suggest ordering the sauce on the side.
The views and location are quite lovely. The restaurant is clean, antiquey-quaint and charming, but the chairs and tables are overdue for a refresh, being the same for about the last 20+ years.
The food was very good, great friendly service, nice atmosphere.
Very tasty option
Parking is very difficult although I know there really is not a solution.
Went to Creekview for Restaurant week - I had the Chicken Milanese which was really good - lots left over! Already recommended to some friends!
One of our favorite places to eat. We have been there several times and never disappoints us.
Very good food, excellent service, very very noisy and the floor moved at the high traffic where we sat
Great food, drinks & outstanding service. Friendly atmosphere. Good music.
We mentioned to our server that the steaks were over cooked, and she offered to replace them but we declined. One of my guests ordered a dish that said it came with risotto. Instead it was served with linguini and the server said they weren’t serving risotto any more. The hostess came with a complimentary side of risotto and said it was going to be a dinner special, which was appreciated. The hostess returned in a few minutes and said she was sorry to hear the steaks were over cooked and offered everyone a complimentary dessert! I thought this was extremely generous and again... much appreciated. Aside from the few kitchen faux pas everything else was very good.
Creekview is always good for a casual dinner or fish fry. Been going here for years and the food is always delicious and the service excellent ! Love the atmosphere sitting by the creek and the cozy bar area in the winter
This is a place that is fine for a casual meal. The food is good, service is fine and values is good.
We went out here for a birthday dinner and it was okay. Half of us liked our meal, the other half didn’t. The waiter seemed to kind of forget about us, didn’t offer refills, etc. Probably wouldn’t go back.
My friends and I had a lovely lunch the other day. We sat by the window and had a great view of the creek. Service was great and so was the food.
The Creekview always seems to have very good food and its a very warm and friendly atmosphere there.
Food and service were very good. Place was very crowded but didn’t feel over crowded when you eat. We would go back again
Food was good I was disappointed how I was keep getting approached to have my food in a box when I still working on it... when I was finally done and asked him to put in box he threw it out what was the point rushing me in the fiat place mind you this was not by my server
Friendly, very busy but with a pleasant hum.
I’d go again!
