We went out here for a birthday dinner and it was okay. Half of us liked our meal, the other half didn’t. The waiter seemed to kind of forget about us, didn’t offer refills, etc. Probably wouldn’t go back.
The Creekview always seems to have very good food and its a very warm and friendly atmosphere there.
Food and service were very good. Place was very crowded but didn’t feel over crowded when you eat. We would go back again
Food was good I was disappointed how I was keep getting approached to have my food in a box when I still working on it... when I was finally done and asked him to put in box he threw it out what was the point rushing me in the fiat place mind you this was not by my server
Friendly, very busy but with a pleasant hum.
I’d go again!
Waitress was attentive, food was great, ambiance relaxing.
Went there with a party of 7 for a lunch. It was excellent overalls
Creekview is a wonderful little restaurant located on main street in Williamsville. My husband and I were seated right by the window looking out onto the creek. The food was pretty good, and the service was excellent. Fresh bread served before was delicious.
As for a table out on the patio so you can actually get the best views of the creek that's the best part it is chilly out there on the patio even when it is closed up but it's still nice and beautiful to watch
Very knowledgeable regarding gluten-free and cross-contamination. I ordered the gluten-free penne Parmesan and it was delicious ! Very good service also.
Great service! Friendly efficient waitress! Excellent food!!
we have been at this restaurant many times and everything is always wonderful. the food is great.....especially the mac and cheese. We also enjoy the fried chicken and the beef on weck. The waitress was very patient and didn't rush us ...since our party had not seen each other in quite awhile. that was really appreciated. My husband and I always look for a chance to eat there and will continue to do so.
Great service, excellent food. We will be back!
Food excellent. Place is very popular so consequently gets loud. Can't help that.
Although we had reservations they initially tried to seat us wedged in a back corner just off the kitchen and no view. Asked to be moved. Couldn’t get a creek view but did get a better table. Didn’t care for the breaded chicken and caper sauce dish. Very little flavor. Salmon dish was good. Wait staff was attentive
Had a great time, and overall very well done!
Perfect Valentine’s Day dinner with the kids!
Nice place to eat, food was very tasty and generous. Table for two was good size, and little drafty when we first sat down. Service was great.
Everything was very good
The food was excellent
The staff was very friendly and helpful
They seated us on time
Server was spot on, friendly and knowledgeable. Our table over looked the creek and my wife and I had a very enjoyable first experience. We split a couple small plates and shared a dessert. Highly recommend for any occasion.
food was awesome however arrived lukewarm. very attentive waitress.
Great food. Loved the portabello mushroom sandwich entree. The wait took forever though. Would go again.
Love dining by the creek! Great table right by the window!! Unfortunately our waiter “took a call“ and forgot about us. Another waiter noticed it after well over 10 minutes and came over and asked us if we needed anything. We told her we would like to place our order and she took care of us from there. The original waiter never refilled our water, never came over to ask if everything was good and when we grabbed him and asked for a check, he came over with a water pitcher-too late! Definitely recommend for the food - maybe just a poor wait experience.
A great time had by all after a week of storms. Cozy atmosphere, delicious food and good friends. Our waitress was attentive and kind. Perfect evening
Our group of 8 was celebrating a birthday for our recently deceased sister. We had our own room, which gratefully was quieter for the sake of the few hard of hearing guests. Food was delicious, promptly served, and good quality for the money. Our server was attentive and fast. Most of us had salads, which were large portioned and very good. Mom had the fra diavolo pasta which was also very good. Our visit was early February on a Monday evening. It was not too busy but there were other guests throughout the restaurant.
Table was ready when we all arrived. Service was great and the food was as prescribed. Busy restaurant and food was still brought out in a timely fashion. We will return again.
It was fine. Nothing terrible but nothing to rave about
All good. Just got very loud.
It has the makings for everything to be good, I want to like it here but the food always falls short. The menu always sounds good but the food is very under flavored.
Unfortunately not a good experience. Always enjoyed, but now I doubt
My wife ordered a Kentucky Mule which pretty much all ice cubes.
I ordered Manhattan Clam Chowder and was served NewEngland Style.
Bill came and had drinks charged which we never ordered.
Waitress was nowhere to be found.
It will be a while before we return.
Our first time there for a quite dinner experience. Everyone was very friendly, food was very good. Restaurant could use a little updating, there was a ceiling light fixture that was blinking right in our view which was distressing, but easily fixable. Interior looked tired and needs a little change.
Always quality food and service at Creekview. You can enjoy smaller sandwich selections (burger, beef on weck) or full in dinner choices (pastas, steak, liver and onions). Enjoyed a hearty French pinion soup and scallop appetizer special this time.
Enjoyed our lunch at Creekview. Our server was friendly and helped us get out in time to head to the airport. Food was good, but disappointed in salad entree
We were in the back room which feels like it is getting to be so slanted that it’s gonna fall in the creek and the climate control was crazy one minute it would be really hot and then the next we were putting our coats on.
Our waitress was very friendly and we loved her service! The shrimp scampi was very tasty!
The reason for less than five stars for overall is because of the reservation system. When we arrived, we were shown to our table in the bar area. I did not want to sit at the bar, since one of the reasons I chose Creekview for NY's eve was for a quiet dinner with our 14 year old son. Not a noisy bar. I was told that since I reserved the table using "open table" that's what I get! Really? Was I the only one using open table? Or the only one "lucky" enough to get stuck at the bar? And there was no indication whatsoever letting me know I could be seated in the bar. I had also called the restaurant earlier that day to confirm and no one mentioned the bar table at that time either. So, my suggestion to you is to be more clear in the "open table" reservation to let people know where they may be seated.
Other than the noisy and awkward table position, we much enjoyed our meal, food was delicious, and the waitress was great, and very friendly!!! Thank you. (p.s... the hostess could have been a little more sympathetic though, and she needs to smile!!)
We have been to the Creekview several times and always enjoy a good meal. Our waiter was very attentive.
Only negative is that the tables can be very close together and it is noisy. We were able to change to a quieter table.
Have been to this restaurant many times at Xmas and this was the worst experience we every had
We got there at 630 waited 20 min for waitress
Who was very sweet and overwhelmed with table
Ordered our meals and took over one hour
Both meals we not even warm one dinner
Did not have correct vegetables and the roast beef
Since it was Xmas they should hired more servers
And correct the problem with the kitchen
Getting the meals out
