The chopped salad was excellent and my husband and I split it. They divided it nicely on two plates and customized one ingredient for my husband. The salmon and cod entrees were excellent with the right amount of firmness to the fish with good flavors. My only complaint is that my cappuccino was not hot enough but the manager took it back and added warm milk foam. The ambiance is interesting with all the quotes on the walls to read and discuss. Relaxed atmosphere and attentive service. We will return!

The General Manager, Brandon, is an outstanding front of the house representative who understands how to handle a busy lunch crowd and make everyone feel like they are at a special table. Our server, Alex, was also extremely attentive. The food was terrific and this is a spot that I would feel comfortable taking someone special, for a myriad of occasions.

Our party of six was "comped" two delicious appetizers by the manager Brandon after we had to wait quite a while for our table. The manager continued to make sure that we received the best of service. The melted pecorino with grilled bread appetizer was amazing, and the pumpkin gnocchi were light and SOOO flavorful. Everything was very good, but the restaurant is very loud, so we were happy to have been sat at a table off to ourselves in the back. Our party was very happy to have tried this restaurant for Dine About Town week! We'll be back.

We were seated in the area by the stairwell to the basement right by the kitchen. It was very loud. We had a large party and I thought we would get a table downstairs. I had never seen anyone get seated where we were. The service and food were very good but the noise level was too loud.
It was for a casual business lunch during SF restaurant week. A little shocked that the waiter was trying hard to "upsell" from the $25 special.
I have been to this restaurant more times than I can count. Its on our regular rotation but we hadn't been in a while & something changed. The food was really sub par this time. Pizza crust was burnt yet the toppings were cold. The pasta was not drained before plating so essentially I had cavatelli soup. The blue cheese dressing overwhelmed the fried green tomatoes. Everything was really bland and we had to ask for salt & pepper, something we have never had to do previously.
