All great tasting and fresh
The chopped salad was excellent and my husband and I split it. They divided it nicely on two plates and customized one ingredient for my husband. The salmon and cod entrees were excellent with the right amount of firmness to the fish with good flavors. My only complaint is that my cappuccino was not hot enough but the manager took it back and added warm milk foam. The ambiance is interesting with all the quotes on the walls to read and discuss. Relaxed atmosphere and attentive service. We will return!
Great service and amazing food. Best octopus I have ever had, not mention dessert was amazing!
The General Manager, Brandon, is an outstanding front of the house representative who understands how to handle a busy lunch crowd and make everyone feel like they are at a special table. Our server, Alex, was also extremely attentive. The food was terrific and this is a spot that I would feel comfortable taking someone special, for a myriad of occasions.
Credo is great!
Good food and nice vibe, but a bit noisy for me.
Our party of six was "comped" two delicious appetizers by the manager Brandon after we had to wait quite a while for our table. The manager continued to make sure that we received the best of service. The melted pecorino with grilled bread appetizer was amazing, and the pumpkin gnocchi were light and SOOO flavorful. Everything was very good, but the restaurant is very loud, so we were happy to have been sat at a table off to ourselves in the back. Our party was very happy to have tried this restaurant for Dine About Town week! We'll be back.
Food was incredible! Loved the inspiration room decor!
We were seated in the area by the stairwell to the basement right by the kitchen. It was very loud. We had a large party and I thought we would get a table downstairs. I had never seen anyone get seated where we were. The service and food were very good but the noise level was too loud.
It was for a casual business lunch during SF restaurant week. A little shocked that the waiter was trying hard to "upsell" from the $25 special.
I have been to this restaurant more times than I can count. Its on our regular rotation but we hadn't been in a while & something changed. The food was really sub par this time. Pizza crust was burnt yet the toppings were cold. The pasta was not drained before plating so essentially I had cavatelli soup. The blue cheese dressing overwhelmed the fried green tomatoes. Everything was really bland and we had to ask for salt & pepper, something we have never had to do previously.
We went for SF Restaurant week, and after looking at the special menu, decided that it was more food than we could eat for lunch. We opted instead to order 2 starters and split them. We got the shrimp in garlic sauce and the brussels sprouts with pancetta. Both were delicious, and we were both satisfied with the amount of food. The bread is a non-white sourdough, which was sublime with the butter, the garlic sauce from the shrimp. or by itself.
I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised. The food was good and so was the wine! My friend and I were experiencing Restaurant Week and so I made a reservation. I arrived early & the table wan't ready- so worries, I waited at the bar for my friend and the table. I ordered a red wine from Paso Robles- delicious! When our table was ready, the hostess came and showed us to the table. The food was so good. I had the arugula salad & my friend had the octopus, since we tend to sample each other's plates- the octopus was yummy. He had the pork chop and I had the pumpkin gnocchi. The pork chop was perfect. The pumpkin gnocchi was sweeter than I expected....I may not order that again. The bread for the table was good, it came with a salted butter. The dessert: we both had the banana pudding: OMG. SOOO good! I was definitely a happy camper. The servers were attentive and friendly. I would definitely return.
Was surprised to see portion sizes have decreased while costs remained the same or increased. The pasta my colleague ate was unimpressive, but the meatball/polenta appetizer I had was great. Decent by-the-glass wine options. Took quite a while to get check, get it cashed out, etc. This restaurant will stay in rotation but dropped a bit in my book.
Everything was perfect!
