Crawford's Bar & Grill
Never disappointed from Crawford’s food and service! The lavender lemon drop cocktail is to die for. Highly recommend!
Very fun atmosphere, food is good and great history on the building Really enjoyed ourselves!
The food was ok. It’s not as it used to be
Food was excellent. Didn’t have our reservation that was made through Open Table but were very accommodating and seated us quickly. One of the server’s accidentally tripped while carrying our food which fell to the floor. They explained what happened and didn’t charge us for our entrees. This place is awesome!! Absolutely love eating here!!
Fantastic atmosphere with amazing food and staff!!
We always love dining at Crawford's, but the acoustics are bad and sometimes it makes it hard to have dinner conversations. Regardless, we enjoy our meals every time!
The hightop chairs by the bathroom are beyond uncomfortable, and almost painful. We were at Crawfords 3 years ago for a family reunion, and we commented about the chairs then, and they have only become more uncomfortable since.
Food wise, it was delicious, and the Crawford Old Fashioned was our group's favorite of the night.
This is my fourth trip to Crawfords in the past couple of years and it was definitely not near the quality of the last few trips. They had changed the menu since my last trip and not for the better. Took off 2 of the best dishes. The items we ordered were a mixed bag on quality and execution; but still pricey. Cocktails were good and the service was top notch. But really disappointed in the kitchen. Maybe it was just an isolated thing, everyone has bad day. Have had some really excellent meals here. Won't hold it against them too much, but I be checking out some places.
Great food, cocktails, and ambiance, but took 20 min for each drink order unfortunately, then incorrect glass of wine served from what was ordered. Service could be more attentive. Staff very friendly.
My daughter and I ate here on our way out west. It is in a fun, lively part of Sioux Falls in a beautiful old building with lots of exposed brick, cool decor and leather furniture. Our waitress was Ally and she was fantastic. The steak bites appetizer was terrific! I had a burger and my daughter had salmon salad - both superb. Menu featured some local beer and I had a couple - very refreshing. Ally recommended the dark chocolate toffee cake which was amazing! I definitely recommend Crawford’s!
Food was biggest problem. Steak bites we asked for rare and they were medium. Walleye fingers we over cooked and crust was dark brown. Risotto was like glue. Salad and soup were good. Service was slow but I do not think it was servers fault. Bar and kitchen both seemed backed up
An exhilarating experience for the pallet…Next-level cuisine and cocktails!
It wasn’t very busy, they just changed ownership and the waitress was terrible! Not very attentive on the table. We had to keep asking for everything and she forgot to bring our drinks multiple times. Will not be returning there again, and I have been a regular for years under the old ownership ie David G. There are to many other options to go back to a place that doesn’t care if you come or not.
Tonight's visit to Crawford's left us a bit disappointed. Pork was undercooked, first cocktail took so long to be delivered to the table that the server took it off our bill. Server was great but it seemed the staff seemed a bit disorganized.
Haley was an exceptional server, hostess was compassionate about the wait, the atmosphere was fun and eclectic. I had to wait a while even though I had a reservation, but food was worth it. Filet was perfectly cooked, but I might have come for the bread alone. Only improvement could be on risotto, which was flavored well but slightly too aldente for my taste.
Certain food items were just ok. Mushroom risotto was not good. Undercooked and mushrooms were cut too large and also undercooked.
Parmesan walleye was quite good.
Great service. Very friendly and attentive.
EXTREMELY SLOW service. Surly waitress - rude and disrespectful. Understaffed. Food and beverages very good, but not worth what we put up with in slow and unfriendly service. Took out of town guests. It was embarrassing!! Won’t be going back.
Fathers Day dinner - what could go wrong, went wrong. From forgotten order, to cold food, overdone steak, chewy as all h3ll pork loin...... The waitress continually apologized that the "kitchen had a bunch of new chefs" and "were doing a bad job".
My daughter is a really shy girl, and she sent her burger back due to it being practically raw. She didn't even order a replacement. Terrible experience. Poor waitress.
Steak was not cooked medium. Pretty raw. Had to re-cook. It took 20 minutes to get the steak back. Food was getting cold by then.it was a birthday. I requested a special desert for my birthday gal.none..
Crawford’s does not disappoint. It is consistently good & has a nice vibe.
The food was delicious. We had the shrimp cocktail and Crawford Burger
We made a late in the day reservation, so they seated us in the very back table on the 2nd floor. It was so hot back there, I finally couldn’t eat. We would gladly have waited a little longer for a different table. They shouldn’t put anyone back there in 93 degree weather, unless there air conditioning can handle it. So sorry, but it ruined an otherwise good dinner. Cocktail waitress downstairs was a delight. Very sweet.
We waited about an hour for our food.
Very disappointing night. Trying to celebrate a birthday with family and was horribly disappointed. The food was average, but the service was what was so disappointing. The waiter was disinterested in us (a party of 11), didn’t deliver drinks/food to the right person who ordered, brought food late, didn’t ask for refills, water, more drinks, etc. I could go on with details but overall, it was expensive and not a place I could recommend at this point. We have been there in the past and it has been good, but tonight was awful. I won’t go back anytime soon, which I’m sorry to say. They need to train wait staff and management to handle large groups.
Food, drinks, and desserts are absolutely delicious! We'll definitely become regulars.
Our server Natija was excellent. Good recommendations. Quality and presentation of food were excellent. The Wedge Salad was excellent. The Filet was so tender you could cut it with a fork. Because of price this is a special occasion restaurant, but well worth it.
Overall good experience, service was slightly slower than anticipated. Ambiance was good, slightly over the top eclectic with the rustic contemporary theme.
A family visit to Sioux Falls with not one, but two dining experiences at Crawford’s. The food is outstanding! 5 of us out of towners were surprised and delighted. Collectively we have dined at some of the finest restaurants in the world and Crawford’s definitely did not disappoint.
The pork chop was the best I’ve ever tasted! The walleye, out of this world! The large spears of asparagus were tender, flavorful and not stringy even to the stems.
Great food and setting for us to get together with family and enjoy a night out!
Alex was an amazing server! Food was amazing! Loved the decor
Atmosphere and food was amazing!! Our waiter was a little iffy, but the rest of the staff was great!!!
Best location and best service.
This is the first time I've eaten at Crawford's. The decor is unique - think speak-easy meets art deco. Steaks were amazing, good drinks, menu has a bit of everything, service was friendly and timely.... the ONLY big disappointment was the Charcuterie Board appetizer. I am BIG on charcuterie and Crawford's just didn't meet expectations. The selection of cheeses & crackers was generic & mundane and I've never, ever had one with orange slices and hard boiled eggs. I could have brought my own cheeses & box crackers and made a better one. What about apples, grapes, dried apricot,....? I just expected more for an upscale restaurant. Other than that - it was a lovely dinner.
Great food and service!
Valet parking would be a step above the rest, other than that, everything was great.
Best location, service, and food.
Great food, great atmosphere!
The food was excellent.
The service....absolutely the worst I've ever experienced.
I made a reservation. This was Mother's day.
We were sat at the 2 person table directly in front of the balcony, which also directly in front of a server station where they stored glasses and high chairs. Also, was about 5 feet from a coed bathroom.
The server came to the table and asked for drinks or appetizers, and asked if we wanted bread now or with dinner. We ordered drinks, no appetizers, and said sure on the bread.
Drinks came, and one of the glasses was broken all the way through. Honestly not sure how it was still intact. I get it, it happens. The server walked past us 3 times before I finally said "excuse me, can he get a new glass?" Finally came back with a new glass.
Various servers grabbing things and putting things back behind me, the whole time.
Then, apparently the main floor bathroom broke, and there was a line of people right beside our table waiting to get into the bathroom.
There were at least 3 tables on this floor that was open, and we definitely should have been offered a new table.
We weren't....and the stench from the bathroom was absolutely disgusting.
Food was excellent, but the atmosphere and service definitely didn't justify the price. Never seen the bread lol. Seen our server when we ordered, got the new glass, and when we were asked if we wanted dessert, and at that point we just wanted the check. Again, the bathroom deal was absolutely disgusting.
So, if you do eat there, and they sit you on the 2nd floor, refuse the 2 person table in front of the balcony. I would also try to avoid the red head server.
The food was great and the setting was eclectic but very cozy. I would hands down go back again if the prices were not so crazy.
Food, service and atmosphere was incredible!
Made reservations for my husband and I on our 5 year anniversary and they accomadated us to a lovely table and treated us with respect, patience and were on game with timing for food and drinks.
10 out of 10 recommended and will be going back if we get to visit Sioux falls.
