Crawford's Bar & Grill
Everything exceeded our expectations. We’ll definitely be back
Food was good as usual. Service was not as good as usual. Took some time to get drink orders. Have had much better service.
Our waiter, Alex, was a terrific young man and willing to please! The owner, Dave, asked about our experience. Awesome!
Birthday celebration. Free s’mores! Burger was dry and overdone. I was not asked how I wanted it prepared. Nice waitstaff! Fries are the best!
Usual excellent food, drinks pork shanks were wonderful. Try to get table in upper level for lower traffic level & noise.
This was our first time in Cedar Rapids and found this restaurant to have dinner with our friends. Service and food was awesome. Went for dinner at 5:30pm and stayed until 9:00pm. We enjoyed the restaurant so much we did not leave and stayed for several drinks. The Old Fashions were awesome! Truly enjoyed the evening and would recommend!
The meal portions were large. For the food that we tried, we didn't feel it was very exceptional for the pricepoint in either flavor or presentation.
We had quite a few people with us and our waitress was so patient and amazing! I’m so happy I chose this as a spot for my birthday dinner. I will definitely be back!
First, I love Crawford’s. The servers are wonderful. We must have hit an off night. I know it was busy with a huge party of 40 upstairs.
My walleye was over cooked, the Parmesan crust was a thick, leathery crust. I couldn’t cut it even with a knife. I ripped it with my fork and fingers. All I could taste was the chewy Parmesan. The fries my daughter ordered were ice cold. My friend’s medium rare fillet was overdone.
I’m only sharing this to help you improve, not to be whiny. It is an expensive place and so people expect above average quality.
This is my third time there and love the place. I didn’t have luck with the ribeye this time. It was dry and not too flavorful. I will be back when I am back in town, but will venture to other parts of the menu.
It had a very nice atmosphere service was excellent food was delicious
Amazing atmosphere, fantastic mixologist and waiter, food was to die for!!! We will for sure be back!!
Nicely located in DTSF. This restaurant is one you'll want to try for sure. Awesome for a romantic evening. And don't forget to sample the "Epiphany" cocktail... It's all the buzz!! 😉
Food was fine, but nothing special.Service was not very attentive. Totally ignored one of the persons in our group when taking orders.
Would definitely recommend to anyone who is not on a budget. Service was great and really cool ambiance. We had 2 appetizers - Calamari and Spinach Artichoke dip - both were amazing. Four of us all ordered different entree's which were all fantastic, especially the mushroom risotto and the spinach & toasted almond risotto. Was expensive, but definitely worth it for special occasions.
We were a party of 9. Even though we had a reservation they seemed surprised to see us. The service was very very slow. The area that we were seated in at the back of the restaurant is kind of deteached, very "remote", bland and without any ambiance.
The food was good
Perfect evening out! Charming interior, comfortable and hip. Service and drinks outstanding. Food very good. Will not disappoint.
lots of interesting elements to the decor, food was excellent we had the spinach crunch salad with blueberry vinaigrette and the tomato crab soup. Entrees the walleye and prime rib. Chocolate peanut butter cake was very moist. Good wine selections found an Oregon Pinot Gris!
The quality of food here has definitely made huge improvements over last year !!
first time having meal the quality was extremely high the service & atmosphere were too
Great food. The steaks were very good, as were the sides.
Food was amazing! Worth every penny. I had the filet cooked medium rare and wrapped in bacon.
The server was a little slow coming to our table and we didnt get drinks until 25 mintues in. She did seem real busy though so not going to bash her.
Stopped in here after a day of travel and the meal was all we could have asked for. Wonderful flavor in a quiet relaxing atmosphere that speaks of old downtown. Don’t miss the calamari-it’s amazing and the best we’ve ever tasted!-
Food was fantastic. So glad we found this place as we traveled South Dakota for the week and finished our vacation with a fine steak dinner.
This was a great place to take my granddaughter for her 13th birthday. Funky and classy at the same time, excellent food and great staff.
Service was a little slow with drinks, that could be improved for the price you pay.
Great dinner for my dads 69th Birthday.
So the food was fantastic, but the service for what you pay isn't there. When I buy a $50 bottle of wine, I don't expect to pour it myself. Sounds snooty maybe, but the purpose of paying more is for the service. If I wanted to serve myself, I would've stayed home.
My go to for out of town clients. Always deliver. Never been disappointed on food, service and guest reactions
Very good food (a little too much sauce on things for my taste) expertly prepared and graciously served. A downtown gem!
Great food and wonderful server. We enjoyed our evening!
Very good downtown restaurant in an old, narrow former clothing store building w/Sunday evening music. Excellent drinks & food. Service excellent. Suggest request seating on upper level. Also have ground floor & street patio seating.
The staff was very friendly and efficient. The food was amazing! It was a great way to top off our evening of celebration!
They got rid of my favorite dish! New Orleans chicken :/
Great place to eat or drink at when in downtown Sioux Falls.
We ordered ribeye, med rare. It was cooked to perfection. My sides were grilled asparagus and cheesy risotto. The asparagus was grilled to perfection. The risotto was very good but a little to salty. My dinning partner had the Parmesan steak fries. They were crispy and awesome
