Food was perfect! White sangria had too much pulp and busyness at the bottom of the drink which made it undrinkable towards the bottom.
Great service and food, as always! Website says 1/2 price sushi on Sundays but server informed me they don’t do that anymore. Other than that, it was quiet and perfect and the experience was awesome.
We chose for date Crave as it was within walking distance of our hotel. The food was fabulous! I had the salmon salad, wow! The salmon was cooked to perfection and not overdone. And the rest of the salad was excellent as well. We will definitely return!
We enjoyed our after-work meal looking out over Turner Park. The sushi was very fresh and flavorful. Service was friendly and prompt - thanks!
Crave is always excellent and has a menu broad enough for anyone to be happy. The Rewards program is excellent and makes for a great value to match the experience.
Awesome Happy Hour as well as outstanding service.
We will return soon!
A friend and I had dinner on a Sunday at 5:15 pm. Wasn't crowded at that time. She had the beef stroganoff and I had the chicken Caprese Rosa. They both were excellent. The waiter was helpful and answered our questions well. The only thing was it would have been nice if there was bread served with these dishes. We will be back though.
Crave does not disappoint when it comes to providing an excellent dining experience. Looking forward to our next dining experience there.
Crave exceeded my expectations. The menu is all over the place (sushi, pasta, steak, etc), as if the restaurant doesn't know what it wants to be, but from start to finish, our experience was great.
The ambience was exactly what I was looking for at the time, a modern-ish Art Deco vibe (the lights may be the lovechild of Chihuly and Tiffany) with the oven fire and transparent wine cellar as accents. As a significant bonus, the noise level was surprisingly low for the number of people, making the evening both intimate and celebratory (the sparkler bedecked crepes for another table made it that much more celebratory).
The server was exceedingly friendly, attentive, and talkative, lending a casual air to the place, the food and drinks arrived promptly, and we were never hurried or waiting.
The food itself was the biggest surprise. I assumed it would be uninteresting, given the rambling menu, but I enjoyed each dish. The firecracker shrimp were flavorful and light with just the right amount of vegetables mixed in. The Pomegranate Molasses Salmon was flaky, moist, and a shockingly large portion (of which none was left), but my favorite parts of the dish were the finger potatoes and sprouts. As nice as the Salmon was, it was outshone by the Paella. It may not have been a traditional paella, but it was the highlight of the evening, and the green-lipped mussels we're the stars. I've had richer Pots de créme, but honestly, this was my favorite. It was a nice light desert after a large meal. As a bonus, the martinis were great (the Dirty Flirt, though embarrassing to order was fun, but both the and vodka martinis with blue cheese-stuffed olives were perfect).
I've avoided this restaurant because of the meandering menu, but now I'm looking forward to coming back to explore the rest of it.
I would give service 6 stars if I could. I'm a busy mom of three and rarely get out for dates with my husband. It was amazing food, great service and well made cocktails. We'll be back!
We recently went to crave for an anniversary. Dinner overall was spectacular, our server was great for being SUPER busy. We ordered two appetizers, crab and artichoke dip and the bamboo bites, both were incredible we are still craving the bamboo bites! For dinner we both ordered the signature bourbon ny strip, we we pretty disappointed in the steaks we ordered them both medium rare and they came out on the medium- medium rare side, which was pretty disappointing. But, overall we had such a great time and will absolutely be back!
Good! All food superb !
Large, varied menu, consistently delicious food, and excellent service, this is a good choice for dining in Omaha. Free validated parking in adjacent garage is convenient, and Midtown Crossing location offers ambiance and city views. Staff is efficient and friendly, both to single diners and large groups. Recommended.
Great time for a girls night out! Enjoyed our cocktails and apps. Great good, great service.
Birthday celebration. Worth every penny.
The food was amazing
Have been to Crave a few times before, and never had been really impressed. Decided to go on Valentine's Day, partly because we started looking for reservations at places just a few days in advance, and the first 5 or 6 places on our list were already booked. We had received a coupon card in the mail a few weeks ago that I remembered--for a BOGO entree. I suggested we go for Valentine's Day since we had that coupon and I was able to get a reservation online. We had a 7 p.m. reservation but had to wait around 15 minutes. Apparently, the reservation wasn't really a reservation? Not sure what the issue was there, but whatever. Once seated, the server came by and we ordered drinks and started looking at the menu. The server mentioned that they had a prix fixe menu since it was V Day. There were no vegetarian options on the special menu. We had the chicken stir fry and the caprese flat bread. Our waiter only came by one time during our meal to offer refills of water and tea. Other than that one time, he was largely absent. When our waiter brought the bill, I handed the waiter the coupon card, and he said they weren't taking them since it was V Day. The fine print on the coupon card said it expires on a date in March and that it's valid for dinner only. It didn't say anything about not being accepted on certain days. I thought that it was odd that I never saw anything about the prix fixe menu or anything about no coupons being accepted before or after I made the reservation. I went on the Crave website to make the reservation and didn't see anything there. They sent me an email confirmation, as well as a text message the day before, asking me to reply with a 1 to confirm. Those were all excellent opportunities to let me know that they had a special menu and that they would not be accepting coupons. We left there feeling a bit like we were victims of a bait-and-switch scheme for an average, over-priced meal. Don't think we'll be returning.
Apps and dinner were wonderful but the dessert was not good the crust was tough like it had been over worked.
Went on Valentine's Day and they did not have their regular menu (which had the meals that my date and I were looking forward to enjoying). This was not made clear on tge website so the discovery was quite disappointing. The food available was more expensive than we had anticipated, which was disappointing as the lower cost was one of the primary reasons for us to go there. So we paid more money for food that we did not want coming into the restaurant. The food itself was decent, but not worth the price. I would come back in order to taste the food on their normal menu, but I would not recommend coming here on a special occasion.
Crave’s Prix Fixe Valentine’s Dinner was great! Every course, from the appetizer to the dessert, was wonderful. My wife and I loved it!
The atmosphere was wonderful. Will go to the Crave again
It was just okay-
Nice experience for us overall. Our table was next to the outside patio against the window. It was a near zero degree night and was just too drafty and cold. After requesting a move to a different table, we settled into a good night's meal!
Our appetizer, the Bamboo Crunch Roll was very flavorful and the sauce topping it was amazing!
My wife had the Tenderloin Medallions, which were tender and flavorful. The accompanying Mashed Potatoes honestly tasted as if they were instant potatoes. Needless to say, they were left behind.
I chose the Chicken Stir Fry. There was a burst of flavor, with just a hint of a spiced hot kick to each bite. It was wonderful.
Ambience was cool. Dining room was very chic and the wait staff was helpful.
We will most definitely give Crave a try again!
Great food and drinks. The Restaurant is really nice and I would go back.
Hadn't been to Crave in over two years due to an average meal at best. Their 30% off coupon lured us back. We weren't disappointed. Menu has expanded and offers a wide selection of choices. Good service. Wide range in prices, depending on the meal choice, which should satisfy all budgets. While we didn't have sushi, many patrons were dining on sushi. Parking is easy using the next door garage and you get 3-hours free with a validated ticket (Crave will validate for you). We'll be back.
Loved the atmosphere and the food. Perfect for a 24th birthday dinner for my friend. The only complaint is the servers we interacted with seemed distracted and not very in tune with our table.
We enjoyed our anniversary dinner!
I loved the ambience and friendly staff. This restaurant has wide booths and big tables that are perfect for comfortable and private dining experience.
I would like to see more creative menu options for vegans, although they are very accommodating.
Service was great! Food was average. Out of wings. Ordered hamburger. Bun was cold (didn’t send back). Burger had a good flavor. Fries really good. Visitor to area for conference. Atmosphere is really cozy and nice.
The first hostess we encountered was rude, which tainted the whole experience. Seemed frustrated when we walked in. There was no clear place to check in because the musician was literally right next to the hostess "stand", which wasn't occupied. When she did come back, the hostess told us that we must have made our reservation too late because it had just showed up (we made them on Open Table an hour before we arrived.) Left us standing there. We finally went over to the bar to grab a drink, but during the ten minutes we stood there, no one came over to take a drink order. There were a few parties in there, that night, but hardly anyone in the bar. Second hostess was much nicer. And our waiter, luckily, made up for the rough start and was super friendly and kind. This is a very loud restaurant. We had to yell across the table at times to hear each other. But if you are in the mood for a party or exciting night out, this could be your place.
My husband and I made reservations before going out to the theatre, it was a special occasion for us since we don't get out much. We were very disappointed with the service. We saw the waiter 3 times throughout our time there, my husband did not have water throughout the entire meal because it was not refilled once until just before we got the bill. At the beginning of our service, we let our waiter know that we wanted to see the dessert menu once we had finished our meal. He said he would bring it to us, but never did. For a restaurant at this caliber, we expected much better service. Our drinks were great, the food was good, but I'm not sure if we'd pay to go back because I would rather go somewhere where the staff makes me feel valued and cared for while I am dining.
Worst service. Barely spent any time waiting on us and it took the food quicker to come out than it did for her to bring back the check.
Overall it was a positive experience. We didn't have to wait too long for the appetizers or entrees. The drinks were really the only issue, had one drink confused with another drink. Then after ordering a drink again it tasted different the 2nd one tasted quite a bit different...waiter said it was because it was a different bartender making the round. Everyone at the table was pleased with the food from the appetizers to the entrees. Plan on coming back.
Flatbread was very bland but that is the only complaint. Beautiful restaurant
We had the tuna poke (maybe the best I have ever had), the chicken wings were HUGE, there was at least 12 mussels on the appetizer plate and fries were great. We had the Chilean sea bass, beef medallions and ny strip (he said it was the best he had ever tasted). Will defiantly be back!
Food and service were fine! Always enjoy dining at Crave.
Hair in the food. Switched olives in the martini and didn't tell us. The food wasn't very good for the price.
Visited Crave again after a disappointing experience on a previous visit - had promised to give it another shot. I'm very happy to report that the experience was seamless this time! Our waiter was fantastic, the food was very good (better than expected for this level of restaurant), and the Open Table process worked smoothly. I'll be back, and I'm glad that they seem to have made the tweaks needed! Great visit!
Great food, and outstanding service
We had the crab and artichoke dip as an appetizer and it did not disappoint, we loved it! I ordered the chefs special which was stuffed chicken and I loved it, there were no leftovers. It was a pricey “date” but we will definitely be back. Bre was our waitress and she was very sweet and helpful too!
