Rooftop was great
Good food before the show!
This was the perfect dining experience for a girls night out.
The Sushi and French Dip were especially good and worth noting. Great atmosphere to celebrate a birthday and great service.
After 10 minutes of waiting for a server, our dates went to the bar to get drinks. We ordered sushi, which was great, but had to go back to the bar to order drinks to have with our dinner. Service was super disappointing!
Concert.. terrible ambiance.. the waiter didn’t pay attention to our order and made several mistakes. Bring back Palamino!
I absolutely love CRAVE and have visited many of the locations; however LaSalle is my favorite location. The service is great . .food is amazing and my lemon drop martinis are WONDERFUL! Thank for always a lovely time downtown.
Friendly greeting at check in. Very accommodating. Allowed us to try the outdoor sitting with the understanding that if it did not work out to come back to the front desk. We came back to the front and we’re immediately seated and treated very kindly.
The waitresses and toward evil is very common 80, friendly and want to make sure our needs were met.
We had an over all awesome experience and would recommend people go here and would returnoursleves
Mother’s Day brunch. Lots of variety and delicious meal choices. We all enjoyed it.
Celebrating son’s college graduation and Mother’s Day
Mothers Day Brunch followed with a cocktail up on the roof on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. Excellent brunch buffet, thank you!!
Some friends and I met for Mother’s Day brunch at crave. There was so much food and so many options there is no way you could try everything. The service was fantastic and the chef even came out to say hi to us. I will definitely go back for other holidays.
The restaurant opened at 9AM for Mother's Day Brunch however the food wasn't ready until after 9:30AM. We sat patiently and enjoyed our drinks while they sent up the brunch and finished putting out the food. Personally, I don't mind waiting but when you have young children time is precious. There were lots of options and everything looked fresh and tasted great. The waitstaff were pleasant however the individuals preparing the food (sushi bar), carving station didn't even crack a smile. I would definitely go again and will try ordering from the menu.
Had a friendly waiter that was very energetic. Quite the loud environment, but enjoyable. Good place to have a drink with your meal.
Everything was great. Staff were friendly.
My friends and I had a great time! The server was great and came around at a timely matter to make sure we were served. Great experience! Food is very delicious!!
The Chilean Sea Bass was absolutely wonderful!! My only complaint is that there was no bread served with the meal.
I think there are two areas in which there is room for growth.
1) Cleanliness. There were old french fires stuffed into the seat and as I scooted past that some sort of granular mess was sticking to my fingers; like salt or sugar.
2) The waitress didn't ask if I wanted any refills on my drink. She was pleasant and helpful, but a little more attentiveness would have been nice.
Worst service I have EVER received. We technically never had a server the entire time. Kept having to flag someone down to order anything or to even get our check at the end. The whole ordeal made us be there for 2+hours. Managers were notified several times during the meal that we were currently not getting any service and they still did nothing about it. Just terrible.
Really slow service. 10 minutes before the waiter approached the table for a drink order. Food was ok but not great.
Reservation for 5 pm, got seated a little after 5, but first we ordered drinks at the bar. There were 3 of us, the bartender brought 2 and said he was working on the other one and then proceeded to take other orders, run other people’s cards, clean up, etc...over 10 minutes...I flagged him down to ask about it and he snapped at me that he was working on it. Not cool! 2 of us ordered Chilean sea bass, and both were over cooked and very fishy tasting and smelling...so clearly not fresh. Very disappointing for the price of these dinners. Dinner service by Ricardo was just fine.
Half of our group was really disappointed with the food .
I had the chicken Rosa, someone had the Jumbalya, and someone had chicken stir fry.
No one would recommend those dishes. No flavor was the response.
Service was very good and nice place.
Went there because of a show we were seeing
Wanted to sit outside but they weren’t serving much food yet?
Will go downstairs next time .
There were 10 of us and they accommodated us very well. Drinks, food, and wine were well coordinated in there arrival.
Only negative, we arrived at 7:05 for our 7:15 reservation and did not get seated until 7:28. That won’t keep us from returning, we will dine here again.
Great food! This was our third trip to CRAVE and we have NOT been disappointed once. The blackened Walleye is quickly becoming one of my all time favorite meals.
Been to other Crave locations many times and had never been disappointed prior to this visit. I arrived early and ordered a rose at the bar...unbeknownst to me the bartender gave me the wrong one and charged me for the $12.50/gl wine instead of the $8. Also, I ordered the Lemon Garlic Chicken partially due to the recommendation from our server. It was very bland...not “lemony and super zesty” as she had stated. In fact it wasn’t lemony at all. And the chicken was fatty-not very crisp-yet somehow managed to be dry. For the most part our server was great, and the others’ entrees were fine, but on the two items I mentioned they definitely missed the mark this time.
Wonderful service and food!!
We met for before theater dinner. Had a light dinner and wine. Service and food were both good and close to where we were headed.
I arrived early and sat at the bar to wait for my wife. The bartender gave me a drink menu. Then a couple she knew came in about 5 minutes after I did and she chatted with them for quite some time, took their order, and then talked to the man about what the bar pour for his drink was, all while I was sitting next to them waiting to order a glass of wine. I guess it helps to know somebody.
Then, when we were seated for dinner we were given an "Event Menu." No mention on their web site was made about having such a menu for an "event," which, when you're in the heart of the theatre district, is probably a regular "event." My wife is a vegan so asked if she could just get a couple of sides, something that high-end restaurants like this have always done for her. Oh, but since it's an "Event Menu" that would be HUGE burden on the kitchen. So she got a very boring salad. What, they can't just give her a couple of sides that they are making anyhow??
Everything I say is true. Absolutely inexcusable for a restaurant that claims to be first-class. We will never go there again and would never recommend them to anyone.
Excellent pre-theater dinner! The restaurant was crowded with a lively atmosphere, but not overly loud like so many places! Food was awesome, service was outstanding and a great glass of wine, too! Love coming to this Crave location and will be back!
Had dinner with friends prior to a show at the Orpheum.
Food was very good and service from "Maddie" excellent.
Shortcoming was the menu is very limited due to an event night. Unfortunately, could not have the Turkey Royale sandwich because of this fact. Also, some inconsistency with what they have on the actual menu and what was on their website. Be careful about this if you are going to base your order off the web.
Maddie reached out to the manager regarding not being able to have the sandwich and was compensated with a free dessert which was good customer service.
Overall a good experience saved by the efforts of our waitress Maddie.
Dinner before theater
3 of the 4 of us got our meals. No waitresses or servers in sight for at least 10 minutes when I finally had to literally chase someone down to get the 4th meal. When it came it turns out that the 3rd meal we had gotten originally (sushi roll) was actually the wrong meal.
Crave’s food is always very good but service this time was awful. The in-site manager came over and the first words out of her mouth was that it was her second day on the job. Then she apologized and offered us one free dessert. That was nice but we were full after finally getting all our meals.
This problem would have been easy to solve if the waitress had been involved when the meals came out or at least showed up within a couple of minutes after they came out.
Fabulous server, but really hot in restaurant
The overbearing anf indistinguishable noise that was supposed to pass for music prohibited me from talking to someone right across the table from me and the waiter had to yell.
That level of interference is offencive I just about any level I don't know why restaurants assume that it is exciting or invigorating or in any way other than annoying..
The food was as good as some other restaurants but even with the location I will not go back there because when I have dinner with friends I like to be able to talk to them and it was impossible!!
It was a great experience from the moment we entered! We were on a time schedule and they were very positive, accommodating and understanding. The food was fresh and flavorful, our waitstaff brought the check when requested and cashed us out promptly knowing we had an appointment. Overall a great experience.
There were two of us for lunch with a nice window booth. I always think Crave is about 10% too expensive, but the food was good and the service was excellent. You get what you pay for. I also thought the room was very well managed.
Crave is a great spot for both business and family meals. Most recent was an after-theatre family dinner. The wait-staff is very friendly, professional, and attentive. The food is very good and the prices reasonable. Highly recommend any of the Crave locations.
Went to dinner after afternoon show at the Orpheum. They had an event menu, so not a full menu, but refined in order to serve diners in a timely manner.
Crave is expensive. $30 entree should be fantastic, not meh. I only go there because of the proximity to the theaters.
We split the steak medallions and they were wonderful! I've never had steak that tasted that good from a restaurant.
