Service and food were amazing. The host was fabulous. My only complaint is that we had a reservation and were seated at the closest table to the kitchen/food pick up area in back of restaurant. That table should be used for walk ins!!
Great! Got us in and out in plenty of time to make it to the theater!
We called ahead to say we would be 10-15 minutes late due to the weather conditions. We were seated immediately after arriving. Menu had great choices and waiter helped make our final selections. Our food was outstanding. Had desserts(yummy) and had plenty of time to get to Phantom of the Opera.
I had been there before but my son, daughter-in-law and grandson had not and they were very impressed. We would all definitely come back. Loved it!
Eating at Crave was the beginning of a wonderful evening. Superior in every way.
A pleasant meal before the play. The menu choices were incredible and the comfort food was a definite winner on this stormy day. Staff were both attentive and engaging. This is our "go to" place before any Orpheum performance.
We had a great time prior to seeing Phantom of the Opera! Our waiter, John, was so kind and friendly to my nieces- he made it an even more amazing experience/memory for them. Thanks so much for your kindness!!
Staff welcome you with smiles, food is excellent. Will visit again in the future
We were having dinner before going to the theater. And it was a birthday celebration too. All three of our dinners were delicious and the birthday dessert was fantastic. We had great service and the ambience was great!
Tim, our waiter, was funny and always arrived right when we were ready for his assistance. He helped to make it a pleasant experience. He was mindful of our plans for after dinner and promptly got us our drinks, dinner, and check for the night. Absolutely will come back.
Maddie was our server & she was great. Tyler helped us with our reservation & accommodated us being late getting downtown. The food was very good & my wife & I had a very nice time.
This location seems to always under-performs compared other locations. E.g., salted rim on Lemon Drop (should be sugar,) VERY sticky stemware both times. Mussels: would not order again. Blackened walleye: very dry, would not order again. Waitress def presented a "not sober" vibe... Loud music regularly cut out throughout the visit. But that's ok, because management has known about it for 3 days...
I loved the jasmine rice.
Had to send back food twice due to it being cold, didn't have the heart to send it back a 3rd time.
We had an excellent meal and all of our dishes were "plate-split" and presented beautifully for no additional charge! Thank-you for the friendly service!!
I took my niece to the Orpheum and wanted a good dinner. Our server was very good at answering our questions about gluten free sushi options and double checked with the chef before we ordered appetizer and dinner. She made sure we were done in time to make it to the show too.
I had a very excellent dining experience before going to the Phantom of the opera.
The service was wonderful the bloody Mary’s were delicious and the food was excellent
The food was fantastic and service after being seated was excellent. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because of the reservation process. Having a reservation means absolutely nothing. When I arrived I checked in a told them I had a reservation. They pulled up the reservation and told me there were a few other people to be seated ahead of me. They just added me to the list behind all of the walk-ups and I had to wait about 15 minutes past my reservation time to be seated. It was no different than if I had walked in off the street.
Great food! We eat at other Crave locations quite a bit so looked forward to some of our usual favorites. Our server was amazing. But a couple negatives I have to mention: when checking in for our our reservation, we were on time but had to stand around and wait quite a while (along with several others parties) while staff “waited for menus” before they could seat us. Also our booth was near the bright kitchen and we had two ginormous computer screens staring us in the face. Normally I wouldn’t think twice about either of these things but it was an expensive night out and I think Crave could do better.
Great food, as always. Little difficult to get to lately because of skyway & street construction -- but otherwise, it's a perfect spot.
Awesome beginning to a date night with my lovely wife of 30 years before a performance at The Orpheum.
Need a date night idea? 6:00 reservation for a 7:30 show. Pay for the reserved parking in the LaSalle parking ramp for a stress free evening.
My wife and I absolutely love this place. Possibly my favorite restaurant in Minnesota.
Staff is awesome, food is great. Only issue I had was the sea bass was partially overdone but very minor.
I would recommend this to anyone!
Great location, comfortable seating, always professional service. This is a go to place for committee meetings, and we've always had a nice time.
We were having dinner before a show. The waitress was very efficient and attentive to that. The food was great. Nice ambiance. We were late on our reservation and they were still very accommodating for us.
My friend ordered a gluten free pasta meal and it was cold when she got it, she didn’t want to send it back because we had tickets to the theater. She didn’t think we had time. Very disappointed.
We had reservations and were seated promptly. Our waiter at first was a little confused and not really listening to our order of wine and drinks but he did "get it together". I had a chicken parmesan pasta dish that was just okay, very dry but eatable. My husband's blackened walleye was much better. Obviously, this location doesn't have the same menu or quality of food and service. Too bad, since it's so close to the Orpheum.
They were very busy, the food was good, but my fish tacos had cooled a bit much by the time I got them. The server had a great personality and added to the experience.
Great spot for dinner before the theatre in downtown Minneapolis. The menu has something for everyone.
We we served quickly, the servers were attentive and helpful, and we enjoyed the food. Great experience!
First time I’ve been disappointed with my experience at Crave. The Artichoke Dip was oily and tasted fishy. My steak was not seasoned well at all and the cut of meat was very poor. Our service was okay but slow.
Crave is one of my son’s favorite restaurants in MSP and he wanted to eat there for his birthday. We had a great time! The food and service was wonderful!
Chilean Sea Bass was excellent
Over priced drinks that weren’t even good pours. Had to send a steak back that wasn’t cooked properly they also add an extra $9 for a employee service charge
Our server was awesome and the food was amazing.
Had a group of nine and all enjoyed their dinners very much. Many had the cajun walleye and all thought it was excellent. Service was good and friendly.
Very nice evening. Always good service and food.
When we first arrived it seemed as though my reservation hadn’t gone through. The evening was a celebration of my daughter and my birthday prior to a Céline Dion concert which was noted in the reservation. There at no time was recognition of this celebration. My husband called to pay for our meal over the phone and this was not accomplished. How would this be any different than paying for a takeout meal? None the less, our meal was fantastic. Our waiter attentive early but was distracted once he began serving a large table of guests adjacent to us.
Customer service was awesome. From the front staff to the wait staff.
Great lamb burger and excellent sushi. Also squash soup!
Very mediocre food. Stir fry vegtibles overcooked and too much suace. The coconut cake was dry and for the price that is not acceptable. Nice environment, good service but there are way better options in downtown Minneapolis.
Menu has lots of options from Asian to American, so we really liked the selection. The amount of food for the price was good. Waitress and bartender were very friendly and attentive. I would recommend NOT sitting on the atrium leading to only bathroom. It was very disruptive to our dining experience.
We were delighted to find this lovely restaurant located right next to the State Theater, where we were attending The Russian Ballet. Molly, our server, was excellent -- very engaging, happy with her job! Our food choices were delightful, delicious and filling.
We will choose CRAVE again!
