Restaurant was dirty and needs updating. Waiter was not attentive at all and took 15 minutes to bring us napkins. Very noisy with screaming children.
Very loud which made it hard to hear. Super night staff however we had so many different people helping us that at times the forgot us, assuming the others were taking care of us.
Great service! Would go back again!! And great food!!
We had a 8:45 Reservation for after a performance. Received a call saying their kitchen closed at 9:00. Obviously didn’t show up. Why were we allowed to book a reservation if they closed soon after??

Good food and a bustling place
Service was really slow. We were celebrating a birthday with dinner before a show, but couldn’t order dessert because we would have missed the show. Disappointed

Sitting by the water dispenser is never fun, however the Chicken chopped salad was fresh and very good, shredded chicken, avocado, apples, craisins, pomegranate seeds etc. The Parm chicken with red and yellow tomatoes was steaming it was so freshly prepared. Good service, good food, will definitely return. Would recommend they lower the booming tunes a bit for lunch, hard to have a conversation

We enjoy Crave for a 'pre Orpheum show' early lunch or brunch. We have always had good food and great service. The special drinks this month are great, the food was delicious, and our server (Ron) gave us great advice on new items to try and was very attentive. It is also a fun place to people watch and to meet with friends.
I love this restaurant & always go here before a performance at the Orpheum. But Saturday night was the first time, even though I had reservations, they couldn't seat me or the two parties in front of me because there weren't any tables available. I was dumbfounded, but took a seat at the bar with my friend & we ate there so as not to be rushed for the show. So the bartenders were awesome, food & drinks always great, just a little snafu on getting my table timely.
This was our 3rd time after being away for a couple years. The food was mediocre for the price. Our server trainee was the best! They brought my appetizer with my meal after confirming I wanted it out first. Prices were more comparable to fine dining than what was received. Was mislead with how large a roll would be, if one doesn’t know ask or say I don’t know. We are okay not returning anytime soon. Many other establishments in the near vicinity. Main positive was the server trainee and the noise level - super busy, but I could hear my company very well compared to other establishments nearby wear one can’t hear anything but noise.
Food and service (server Amy) was excellent! My sisters and I really enjoyed our evening out. We will definitely be back. Wonderful location for a delicious dinner and plenty of time to make the play at the Orpheum across the street!
Sushi and drinks before a show at The State Theatre. Very accommodating to our time schedule before the show. Given two-person high top table next to hallway to the restroom so it was a bit chaotic with all the traffic.
Nice selection of sushi and some interesting entrees. Great for a preshow dinner, but prices for main entrees a bit steep.
This was not our first visit to Crave but it is probably our last. The service was great but the sushi was not. We did not finish it and left hungry having paid more than $100 for the meal. Very disappointing.

Food was great as always, the service has been consistently mediocre and the ambience is similar to the Cheesecake Factory or other similar chain. Would come again with friends but I would think twice about a special occasion.
This is petty but I wish more customers dressed up a little. It felt like most people did, and that added to the ambiance in a great way, but there were a bunch of mostly young people with parents that showed up in sweatpants and T-shirts and it was a little bit of a bummer. But everything about Crave itself was great!
My girlfriend's steak was overcooked and charred. Didn't want to make a big deal out of it though. Service was good but seemed overstretched. This was our first time eating here but probably won't go out of our way to come back.

I have been wanting to try crave for a while and have heard good things about the veggie/vegan menu. My boyfriend and I made a reservation for Valentine’s Day, it was super busy yet the service was still awesome, fast, accurate, and the food was amazinggggg.
Maybe it was just because of Valentine’s Day, but the food was not good. My pasta and chicken was way too dry. Like it took me forever to chew it and I need to wash it down with my water every time. Our waitress was very nice, however and gave us great service!

I absolutely loved my experience. The staff greeted me and acknowledged my special request. The ambiance and staff were amazing and very professional. The food was super delicious. I loved the set up of the tables and the care and patience the staff had. Just a really great experience and would definitely come back! Everyone did great that night even though it was super busy, I was still taken care of and served well. Thank you!

Met here with two old colleagues for dinner. Picked due to good location to get to, as well as previous good experience there. Food and service were very good.
It was a convenient place to eat before our show at the State Theater, but we’ll definitely not be back. The food was mediocre at best. The chicken stir fry was completely lacking flavor and was the most unimpressive item we ordered. The pasta Rosa was good, but nothing special and way over priced. The bison burger tasted good, but was undercooked. The Crave burger was just a burger. Nothing special to make it worth the price. We ordered a side of truffle fries and they tasted good. Pretty much what you’d get at Smash Burger. The aoli that came with it was just mayo with a bit of flavor added. Seriously, the best thing I ate was the salad on the side - greens with candied nuts and goat cheese with a drizzle of balsamic. It was the only thing worth the calories, and that’s not saying much. We spend a good amount of money and walked away very underwhelmed. We had a similar experience at Rock Bottom last time we were there, that’s why we went to Crave. Next time we’ll walk down to Hell’s Kitchen and eat food that is actually tasty and interesting.

We had a 6:15 reservation and an 8:00 show next door at the State Theatre. We were seated around 6:30, and made sure the server was aware of our plans, and he assured us that was no problem. We ordered cocktails and placed our meal order just before 7:00.
Over time, it seemed our server was avoiding us. We soon learned why. Whether the kitchen was understaffed, I don't know, but our meal still wasn't delivered by 7:40, when we advised the server we needed to leave. A manager came over, apologized, said many other guests had the same problem that night--though we don't know why--and gave us a gift card for a future visit. We were not charged for our cocktails.
All and all, the restaurant handled the situation as best they could but, net net, we'd have preferred our meal--and paying for it--over what ultimately occurred.

The food and drinks were good. Drinks were a little spendy. I love the ambiance there. We were going to a show at the State Theatre, so it’s really nice to have the convenience to walk across the hall. The servers are always attentive to get you to the show on time. It was very busy, so it was a little loud, but that did not bother us. I would recommend this restaurant.
Server was amazing however the manager brought our food out and gave my husband the wrong order. It wasn't noticed until he flagged down the waitress to advise the steak needed to be cooked a little longer. They then advised that we had the wrong steak which was replaced with a much smaller piece. Although it was good it was not worthy of the $40 tag on it.
The food is good but overpriced for what the restaurant is.
My son and I enjoyed a pre-show dinner. We loved the guac and chips appetizer, and I had the started salad with romaine lettuce as opposed to spring greens ( thank you), and my song had the wedge. Both meals were delivered on time, and they were delicious. Thanks!

Overall It was a nice experience.
Our server was very attentive, but it still didn’t make up for the poor quality of food. We split a chopped chicken salad and flatbread pizza. The lettuce was subpar, while the salad flavor was missing and the chicken was minimal and seemed past its prime. The pizza was okay, but not special. Lots of bread and nominal toppings. Very disappointed. Was it because the place was packed? Not sure, but no need to visit again.
