CRAVE - Galleria Ratings and Reviews
I was disappointed that they no longer had my favorite menu option and the alternative was not nearly so good! We were there for my out of town's birthday, which the waitress forgot. She also did not give us our order correctly, so the manager helped out with that for us. Staff were all very nice, but the food and quality of service were not what we had experienced preciously. In fact, I had wished I had not suggested it for my friend's birthday!
Made an advaced reservation, indicating it was a birthday luncheon. Seated in crowdede area with a 4 square table converted for 6 that left uneven table. I had to shove my plate up to the center area to keep it from dliding off. I saw more spacious areas and tables were available. No one from the restaurant mentioned the birthday. Its good for a quick stop with a friend or two but not worth reserving in advance
Seated at a high-top in the bar area. Not a great seat, but I was alone & ready to eat. The order was taken fairly promptly and the food arrived very quickly. I thought they skimped on the amount of seafood in the shrimp & scallops dish. (only 3 small shrimp & 2 scallops)
Our group of 5 went on new years eve. And they had a very limited menu, which is understandable because they expected it to be busy. Cheapest item on the limited menu was around $20. We went early around 430pm. And i felt the service was decent, but should have been faster and more frequent visits from our waitress.
Good variety on both happy hour and regular menus. Portions were nice and pricing was decent. Service was excellent, just a tad rushed. I’d recommend for special occasion or dining with friends. We did not take children with but there were families there as well.
Great food but a bit overpriced. Server was extremely busy but managed to get everything right. Restaurant is noisy and always busy. We'd requested bar on Open Table but just took us to a table in back, which turned out better because bar was full and probably even noisier.
Unfortunately this was not a positive dining experience for our family at Crave--Galleria on Christmas Eve. Our 9 year old son ordered grilled salmon with fries on the side and instead of including a small dish of ketchup, they paired it with a small dish of red pepper flakes. All of our food came out at once and before we could even recognize that it was NOT ketchup, he took a pinch of the hot red pepper flakes for a taste and was instantly miserable. He proceeded to feel ill the rest of the evening and was unable to continue finishing the rest of his meal. We had to take it home. Very disappointing and it was still on the bill. Next, two others in our party ordered the rib-eye (medium rare, as they always do when ordering a steak) and both came out extremely red--even cold. They sent both back to be grilled a touch more. One still came back unacceptable and was not even edible. Our waitress did what she could but when the manager came over to the table, he seemed bothered. He offered to cook up a fresh one and send it home with us. So, instead of making it right, this diner went home without even eating a meal. Here too, the steak was still included on the bill. Completely unacceptable and not the typical Crave dining experience we have had in the past. We will not return to this particular location. There are too many other amazing restaurants in the TC area that would bend over backwards to please a diner after this type of experience.
I mostly enjoy Craves and love the coconut cake but today the cake has not good at all. The cake was not moist and there was not much coconut favor. I had considered this the best coconut cake ever until now. It was very disappointing and I had recommended it to our table.
