CRAVE - Galleria Ratings and Reviews
The food was delicious and we were fortunate to be on a side table and not in the crowded dining area. The tables there were very close and the noise level was extremely high.
Our server was very attentive . It was a 75th Birthday Party and was perfect for it.
Have enjoyed Crave previously, however this was one time I was surprised with service. It all started with the reservation. We were not seated until over 25 minutes past our reservation with minimal interaction from staff set a tone for the visit as a downer. Not very pleasant host personnel. Once at table another wait greater that 10 minutes just to get water and another wait staff member to fill in and then pass us off again.
Once the order was taken things got improved. food was very good.
everything was good except the table for 6 was set up against the wall and no room to completely sit around it so was a cramped feeling my chair was over a vent that was blowing cold air so recommend more room between bigger tables also staff had trouble passing between our table and the next table and the table wwas a bit wobbly sharon schmidt
Celebrating our adult grandson's birthday. We were seated at a great table in a corner next to the fireplace on a cold evening. The food was excellent as was the service. We were not rushed and had a great evening. We dine at Crave fairly regularly and enjoy it.
It was quite noisy but we were seated right away. I ordered an individual pizza and salad. I was disappointed that my pizza was luke-warm. The salad was good however. It was my birthday and I did receive a complimentary brownie dessert. It was sort of a “luke-warm” experience all in all.
while the srvice was exemplary, the beef stroganoff was just average. The braised tips were flavorful and tender but the carmelized onions were barely cooked and definitely not carmelized while the sauce was bland. My companion seemed to fare better with the Bang box consisting of suishe, salad, and fruit though she compalined that the fruit mixture was strange oranges and grapes. There are many items on the menu so judging all the food by just two dishes is unfair so check other reviews because the dining room was full. The restaurant is very noisy.
We were seated at a corner table, away from the noisier main area. This was a happy surprise. Their menu seems to have grown since the last time we were here some years ago. We like modern takes on Mediterranean cuisine, and appreciated the many entrees that showcased vegetables and seafood. The server seemed a little busy but still was able to take care of us. We had decided some time ago that we would not return ,but we had a great evening here in late 2017 and now will definitely return.
Went to meet a friend for lunch. Room was a little noisy but we were out in atrium and it sort of echoed. They gave us a table in the corner which made it a bit quieter. Our server was lovely. We both order the tomato basil soup and the turkey royale half sandwich. Both were absolutely delicious. Overall a wonderful meal. The only downside, both my companion and I checked in at the front desk and the hostess said, yup I see you here and then seated us. But when I returned to work, I received an email from open table saying the restaurant said I was a no-show. Thus the poor service rating. Had it not been for that, my whole review would have been higher.
My partner and I found our dishes to be delicious.
They could have brought more bread; we each had one small roll with our wine.
We would have enjoyed having a bit more with our meals.
The wine was excellent.
One problem is that I ordered a salad with chicken, which was forgotten.
We weren't charged for it of course. That was a regrettable error.
We completely enjoyed our dinner choices from the new menu - Chilean Sea Bass and Bourbon New York Strip! Each of us had narrowed down our selection to two entrees and our server gave us more details on the four entrees. The extra details on the dishes we selected were very accurate, making our experience even better.
The waitress was good in the beginning but towards us getting our food she did not even ask us basic questions and if we were doing okay. We literally had to call her over for the check. I was going to order more wine and dessert but she never checked us on after getting our food. The only person that checked on us was the manager and she took our plates away. When we requested change for our bill she proceeded to give us 2 5 s and a ten and... we needed change to tip and that is why she did not receive a good tip because it was her own fault for not giving us change in 1s. I feel like everytime we come here it is either a hit or miss. What happened to this place? Its just going downhill.
We really like Crave at the Gallaria. Food is good but the noise level in the bar area is terrible. We like the prices for happy hour but am getting to the point of crossing it off for happy hour. Dinner in the regular dining area is the best but you can’t get happy hour in the area
