service was soo slow , worst selection for valentines day. no churrasco, no steak, no scallops, and no lobster soup available
Over priced
I visited Crave with my wife for a Valentine's Dinner and nothing special about the place. We actually left before ordering and went next door to another restaurant. I guess the only turnoff was that all the employees including servers, hosts, and pretty much everyone in a uniform was completely oblivious to the guests. Everyone seemed to be running around stressed, I actually got bumped into about 3 times and the door got slammed in front of us as we walked in by servers walking in front of us. No apologies or excuse me or anything. The hostess seemed confused about seating and we sat for about 15 mins with no attention so I quickly made a run for the door to avoid having our romantic dinner be ruined for sure. Went to Villagio and was awesome. I may visit again for lunch or something but definitely not on a special occasion.
The service was awful. The restaurant wasn't crowded when we were there but we waited and waited for everything. I wouldn't go back there.
Needs to be updated the inside looks like an old hotel...overpriced.
Food was great. Have been there before but this time it was a large group. I would not recommend large parties. The service was slow and paying the bills separately was almost impossible. Took longer than time we took to actually eat.
Was informed from start that they were not able to do separate checks.
The food was decent, but two of the four meals had to be returned because they were cold. We waited about 10 to 15 minutes for replacements, but the other two diners were almost done with their meals at that point. The manager gave us free deserts, and that was a nice gesture, but the overall experience was so-so, and I likely would not return any time soon.
nice outdoor place to get together with the family after the Miami marathon
Good service good food lovely restaurant overall. Only thing I wasn't keen on was our table which was right next to the open kitchen which was noisy I would sit outside next time. The price fix menu for 2 NYE was perfect and great value. We had a white and red sangria to drink which were both really nice.
We went to CRAVE looking for something to do on New Years Eve before midnight. Got a last minute reservation and was treated to a very good 3 course meal for 2 at an excellent value as part of a NYE menu. As usual service was great, food was top notch, and wine list was exceptional.
The waiter was lost. The food wasn't all that. It could've been better.
Will never return to this place or recommend it. We received the worse service paired with watery drinks.
The menu was creative and the food was quite good. The service was just OK as the waiter did not bring one of our appetizers until we reminded him. He did not show us the full wine list even after asking if there was a wine list.
I've been at Crave several times before for dinner in the patio area. Lunch menu was OK. The service and food is much better at night.
This was the first time we tried Crave for dinner. Had been there before for lunch which was a much better experience. The food was good, but the service very inattentive, especially since the restaurant was nearly empty when we arrived. Even after notifying the hostess desk that we had waited 15 minutes for a server to show up, it still took a awhile for one of the at least a dozen servers standing around to come by our table and take a drink order, then dinner order. We'd go back again, but not any time soon.
I used open table to find a restaurant in an area I'm unfamiliar with and Crave fit the bill. Indoor and outdoor seating, variety of menu options, good food, reasonably priced and served timely. Would return if in this area again.
We really enjoy the varied menu and the food is delicious. We love the outside seating. The manager and the staff always comes to greet us. We feel good at Crave.
The cocktails were wonderful. Amazing staff and great management!
The food & service was great! The Truffle fries are a must!!!!
Awesome, delicious appetizer, sushi, dessert and SERVICE!!
If it wasn't for the good food and good service, I wouldn't go back. We ate in doors with a party of 10. The restaurant was practically empty, but it was so hot and humid in the dining room, that we were all very uncomfortable. My 3 year old niece was sweating and miserable. As such, the carpet and tile floors were sticky. If it had been cool outside, we would have gone outside to eat, which seems to have a better ambiance.
Our group of five enjoyed a delicious meal together. Contrary to recent reviews, we had no complaints with the service. The Caprese flatbread was out of this world. I’m going back to get it again! The salmon burger got rave reviews for the chunks of salmon in the burger. The spicy tuna roll, churrasco steak and Crave Burger were all devoured by our group. Delicious food, good prices! Enjoy!
Food was not good at all!!! Large resturant with no one inside, I should have taken that as a hint. Will never go back!
I went here on a Saturday afternoon for lunch and did the Miami spice menu. The food was OK but nothing fantastic. I won't be coming back again. Good location and large outdoor seating area was nice that is about it
The waiter and cooking staff were very aware of gluten issues and very accommodating.
Not sure why I needed to make reservations, they were never checked when we arrived, even though they called to confirmed and I reminded them we were celebrating my husband's birthday which was never acknowledged. My steak was very chewy, even though i was assured that it would be very tender.
It was a VERY DISAPPOINTING evening
There were sooo many other restaurants I could have chosen but wanted to try something different. Bad choice
Food was not very good and service was extremely slow for a place that was not very full. Will not go there again.
This place is conveniently located and has a great outdoor seating.
Nested inside Village of Merrick Park mall compound , there is great parking , public transport .
Good always interesting with choices for small plates and also entrees.
Trendy hot spot, great menu options, attractive hostess but slow service, the waiter seemed to be preoccupied with socializing outside.
Did I check the box that I would recommend Crave? Yes. Why with my less than stellar review? Because this day HAD to be an off day for Crave as usually they are perfect! This is the worst I have ever experienced at Crave. Not sure what was going on yet from service to food it was less than my usual great experience. I allow an off day and thus perhaps, at least hope for them it was just that.
Early on we had to wait for service. But once Adam came by the rest of the night was great. Food was absolutely amazing. The unexpected cappuccino creme brûlée just melted.
Will be going back for sure.
We asked for the Date Night menu and the selection was pretty good and for the price you can't beat it. The food was good but the waiter lacked in expertise. He said he was new there and unfortunately he kept forgetting things. Thank goodness the manager was on the floor at all times and helping out to help things move along. We will give it another try.
My server was good - and that was the high point of my Crave experience. Front doors were closed and no one was there to meet us at the other entrance when we arrived. Hostess was too preoccupied with opening the restaurant as opposed to helping our party (we were the only group of customers in Crave at the time). The food was expensive ($3 for a basket of bread and butter) and poorly prepared (medium hamburger was only cooked to medium rare; eggs benedict needed at least 2 more minutes to set; breakfast potatoes/homefries need some/any flavor or seasoning or spice; bacon was undercooked; bloody mary did not include pepperoncini as indicated in menu; french fries were also undercooked and not crisp) . . . . but our waitress was nice. I'd sooner set a $100 bill on fire while waiting in line to eat at a lousy Denny's than return to this over-priced, poorly run kitchen of a restaurant.
We arrived late on a weekday and the kitchen was going to close in 30 minutes. Usually when this happens the waiter rushes you and looks annoyed, on the contrary he was patient, extremely nice and energetic. He would describe every plate in detail and recommend what and how to order something. The food was good but the best is the kogi beef tacos! Must order those
This restaurant is in an upscale mall in Coral Gables. Had lunch with a group of friends and everyone enjoyed their selections. We shared a flat bread and two ceviches and they were both quite good. It was a hot Miami day so we were inside but at another time it looked like outside would be enjoyable. Easy parking - valet or self. Will return.
Our waitress was amazing, very personable and kind. She had a great attitude despite being pregnant and having to serve us and other tables outside in the Miami heat.
We were not informed of additional charges for side dish and was also charged for Ponzo sauce to accompany my sushi...really? Not cool. When we mentioned to waiter that he should have informed us when we ordered, he did not understand we were making a customer service comment and removed charges from bill. Waiters need more training.
We were a party of 10 and had a great night. The service and food we're very good, nice place amd noise level perfect (I don't like when music is so loud you have to scream). Definitely will come back!
Delicious light lunch with a few friends: tuna poke (always a staple every time I come), Peruvian ceviche and chopped chicken Caesar salad!
Good service, great food !! Next time will be dinner
